The Summer Infant Bath Time Bubble Maker is a fun little addition to have in your bathroom for when you're bathing your little ones. The bubble maker won't keep your infant amused or entertained for the entirety of their bath time, but does add another fun element for every now and again.The bubble maker sticks to a tile or bath surface via the large suction pad on its rear side. Simply wet the suction pad with a little water and press it on to the surface firmly. The bubble maker should remain secured to the wall or bath for days, however it is advisable to take it down after use (we left ours up for a few days and then it came crashing down in the middle of the night scaring the bejesus out of my wife and I).To use the bubble maker,simple pour your bubble solution (you can buy this stuff in most toy shops, supermarkets or newsagents) into the open front of the contraption. Because the bubble maker works by dipping the rotating bubble tools into the liquid, a fair amount is needed to allow it to work. However, the bubble solution is cheap as chips, so using a quarter of a small bottle per bath time isn't really going to break the banks.Once you've poured in enough of the solution, just hit the big blue button on the front (or get your little one to) and the bubbles start shooting out within seconds. Whilst in use, the bubble maker's internal motor does make quite a racket. Other reviewers have stated that this scared their infants a little. We have 13 month old twins (boy & girl) and neither has shown any sign of being scared or nervous of the bubble maker when it's in use. They just seem a little baffled, curious, intrigued and mildly entertained for a minute or two.If your infant starts trying to put their fingers into the rotating arms of the bubble maker, then I suggest that you simply move the bubble maker higher up a tiled wall. In the two months we've had it, ours haven't tried to do anything with it other than just stare at the bubbles that come flying out and press the big blue button from time to time.The bubble maker takes four AA batteries (not included) that are inserted into the back, using a small phillips screwdriver. The compartments that house the batteries appear to be very watertight (we've dropped it into the bath a couple of times without causing any damage). The bubble maker itself is made from very sturdy plastic that can withstand plenty of knocks, bangs and drops (the wife's a little on the clumsy side so this too has been tested...frequently!!!).All in all, we're quite happy with the bubble maker for our two infants. However, like with most toys for infants, what suits one doesn't necessarily suit another. The noise of the bubble maker's motor whilst in use may well scare your little treasure. The bubbles may not entertain them at all. But for us it's been fine. Not altogether amazing, but for the price it does add just a little extra fun whilst your splishing and splashing, which is always good.

I bought this for my 12 month old and she absolutely loves it (as do the 4,6 and 7 years old !). Yes, it makes a noise but as someone else says it has to have a motor to make the bubbles and the noise is really not excessive. The batteries last a long time and you can stick it high up on the wall so that the bubbles float down, or lower on the wall and have a stream of them going into the bath.Makes bath time a lot of fun and it works well with normal bubble bath as well as 'proper' bubble mixture. The only thing to note is that you do have to keep it topped up in order for the bubbles to be made. I am buying another one as a present as I think it's a great buy.

I bought this fo my daughters first birthday. It is a little noisey but it has to have a motor to work. It did take a few days for her to get used to it but she started asking for it every bathtime! It encouraged one of her first words "pop" ! Have since bought 5 as christmas presents. Did buy mine elsewere and the machine itself has a blue button and "summer" written on it. Looks the same otherwise ! We have bubble fun every bathtime and love it. My 8 year old uses it whenever he can too!

I bought this item for my 8 months son and i'm very happy with my purchase. It fills the bathtub with bubbles and my son loves them so much!! The only thing not so great is that it doesn't stick on the wall. In my opinion, is to heavy for the suction cup to stick! Aside from that, you can make the bath time bubbly for your little ones! :)

I use this whilst bathing a 6 month old and she loves it. although it quickly runs out of bubble mixture. and unfortunately it doesnt come with any so you have to buy it separate at the start.

Brought this as a gift for my friends 1 yr old and he loves it! Arrived very quickly in very secure and safe packaging. Would definitely recommend!

Grat fun in the bath however a little noisy, used daily batteries only lasted two weeks so an be expensive, can use in the garden as well.x
