My youngest nephew is potty training and while he is doing pretty well, I thought there might be a product that could make toilet training fun, too.I browsed a lot of products that looked like they might fit the bill but when I saw this, I thought it was a great idea! I thought having his own 'proper' toilet might make him feel a little more grown up, and might better help his transition from potty to toilet. It arrived very quickly and I couldn't wait to get it out of the box. It comes with simple, clear instructions and it is easy to assemble. It really does look like a miniature toilet but with a potty insert, and looks exactly like the photos.Pushing down on the handle on the cistern gives a realistic flushing sound which my nephew - and his siblings and I - found great fun.My nephew was immediately interested in it, and was amused that he had his own little toilet. Putting it in the bathroom, alongside the regular toilet is a good way of getting the child used to regular toilet habits and offers privacy if a young child feels self conscious, or is easily distracted, using a potty in front of others. The main toilet part is reasonably sturdy, certainly up to regular use by a toddler. The cistern part seems slightly less robust but as it doesn't need to take any weight on it, I'm sure it will last as long as my nephew requires to use the product. The little compartment within the cistern lid is ideal to keep wipes or cloths. The potty fits neatly within the toilet and is easy to remove for cleaning. There is a guard you can fit that is intended to ensure that boys don't overshoot the toilet rim but my nephew didn't like it, possibly because a real toilet doesn't have one, so we just unclipped it.It might not work for every child but if a regular potty doesn't seem to be working, this might be worth trying, whether for the fun element or to offer a more realistic toilet experience.

Bought this to train my daughter. She was quite early at starting but she was ready. She doesn’t talk a lot but she knows what everything is and what she wants to do. This mini toilet has made it so easy. She goes on this all day without any questions. She has been so independent always wanting to do what we do but for herself so to find a potty which looks just like an actual toilet I think made her feel very confident in herself that she was doing what the grown ups do. She did start using the big toilet with a seat and step however she has gone back to this toilet as I think she’s just so comfortable with it and it’s easier to get to in a rush without needing any help.I would highly recommend it for any independent little ones out there who are Just raring to go just like mummy and daddy. The toilet itself is made very well. It’s easy to take the seat off to empty and she’s even lifted it out herself to take to the toilet but I’ve had to run after her a few times haha! The little flush pleases the little ones too as it’s just like the grown up toilet. It’s easy to lift around and move from room to room if you need to as it’s light but not too light that it will tip over when being used. The height is great for the little ones to just sit down on like a normal seat. There’s no effort to get up or down. Very happy with this potty and I would buy it again if I had to do it all over again.

Absolutely love the product! It's a miniature version of the adult one and this seems to be making my son wanting to sit on it in comparison to many potties we own, we have bought 3 before investing in this particular one. For the other three, we haven't had much success: our first one was around £6 from a supermarket, since we thought how hard could it be to do a potty training, no need to invest in an expensive one! How wrong I was! Without the front part means boys siting on it, and if he decided to wee not poo, it's going to be a mess.2nd one we bought was something you can place on top of the adult toilet, but without the front part, it's again a problem for boys and it's too high that my son(92cm)couldn't have his feet landed on the steps... 3rd one we have is with steps, but the quality is too poor to mention about...Hence, the overal design of this one stands out to us. The removable front piece works wonders for boys. The removable/detachable actual potty part is light and very easy to clean! My son (2.5years old) is now weeing in this but we haven't yet get any success with pooing in this, since he is so attached to pooing in nappies. Hopefully, it could come in the next few weeks! All in all, I feel it's the best on market for potty training. Oh, I forgot to say, my son loves pressing the flush button even he doesn't need to go to toilet...

This potty was amazing for potty/toilet training! It looks so realistic and has a flush that makes the noise too - so good for getting kids used to flushing after using it and adding another fun element for them. My daughter did not hesitate to sit on and use it and I believe it helped with the transition to the real toilet following potty training as it looks just like a big toilet - made it less daunting . There is a small storage compartment at the back which was handy to keep wipes in. Super easy to assemble, very sturdy and has lasted a long time. Easily movable from place to place to place. The inside potty compartment comes out for pouring away the mess too.My only improvement on this would be a lip for an easy pour element to that inside potty so that cleaning/pouring into the toilet is easier as currently there is none. There is a splash guard with the toilet that is removable - my daughter did not like having it on the toilet though which caused a couple of accidents but if your child keeps it on bonus! In all I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone potty training. And I would highly recommend anyone in lockdown that has a toddler ready to potty train - DO IT!! you have the perfect opportunity and time at home and they will pick it up in no time - especially with a super potty like this!

Great product to potty train my toddler. She is aged 2years 10 months and to be perfectly honest I wasn't sure if she was 'ready' to start training. We had a 'traditional' potty around the house for ages and anytime she attempted to sit on it (with a nappy or not) she looked so uncomfortable crouching down and basically wasn't interested. I saw this advertised by chance on social media and thought I would buy it to just test the water with the training to gage where she was as she was approaching 3 and very advanced in everything else...Well she has LOVED this gadget, the novelty of the flush was so funny to her,she loved sitting on it straight away and seemed very proud her toilet looked like mummy and daddys. We've nailed the training within 5 days so she was obviously ready but I think this little toilet really helped her feel grown up and excited to start. The only very slight slight amendment I would make is the little area at the back to hold some wipes is quite small so even a small pack of wipes doesn't fit in it to close the lid, they stick out which just means the wipes fall out when we take the toilet out and about with us... like i said is so slight but obviously wouldn't stop me buying this again in the future.Must buy for any toddler and parent dreading the potty training milestone!

Amazing!! Would recommend to everybody!! My son wasn’t comfortable using a training seat on the big adult toilet, and he didn’t like squatting to use a normal floor potty. This child size potty toilet worked perfectly for him. He loved the fact it “flushed” (noise only!) and was happy that he was now using a big boy toilet like mommy and daddy. After many unsuccessful attempts at potty training prior to this purchase, I would not have got through potty training without this! Just wish I’d bought it sooner! Would recommend to any parent who is struggling with potty training. For an added incentive, my son got a sticker for every time he successfully used the potty toilet, which he decided to use to decorate his toilet (picture attached) He couldn’t wait for his next wee so he could get a sticker for his toilet lol. The one thing we didn’t really use was the splash guard that can be attached; mainly because it’s so easy to put on and take off so my son kept removing it himself; but also seemed to get in the way a little bit when trying to sit a child quickly on the potty! Nonetheless I couldn’t give this potty anything but full marks (regardless of the splash guard). The potty is very lightweight and easy to remove inner bowel to empty and clean. Definitely a great purchase :)

Brilliant! Our little boy loves this and has don’t more wee’sand poops on this than he has on our old normal potty! Also helps as the normal toilet is just too big this feels safer to him and he’s also able to do it himself! The whole process makes it fun with storing little bits of toilet roll in the top section folded and ready, we did this together each time and he enjoys the getting them already for when he needs them! The flush is great fun....think any 2 or 3would love this! Our little one is 2 1/2 he’s made a lot of progress with this and it’s a great starting point....he’s not quite ready yet but he loves trying and as it just is there ready to use when he wants....he does!Makes him feel proud, positive and old enough to do it himself without having to be lifted onto the toilet or checking his bits are fully on the old normal potty. He also looks far more comfortable like an adult on the loo, rather than crouched up on the floor with a potty or hanging on to by sides of the adult toilet with both hands worried about falling in, even though we use a toilet seat on the big loo! Highly recommend way better than your standard potty! Easy to use and clean...better than cleaning a potty by far! Great for moms and dads too less work/stress for us! Winner! ? ?? ??

I bought in Feb this year in preparation of my toddler using it when ready. It was too tall for her to use so it was put away until the last couple of weeks. Today I went to empty it after a very small wee (my girl has only just started to use any potty so is wary) and I find a crack in the pot part so the wee that was in there went over the floor when I went to empty it down the toilet. Am disappointed in it's durability but it could be a one off. Am considering buying another as she likes it but it is worth it... Not sure now***Edit*** Upped to 5/5 from 3/5I completely forgot to add this edit but as I've noticed it now I'm doing it now.I contacted Summer customer services about the crack and they sent me a new pot to replace the cracked one. They did this without a quibble and didn't charge me for it. Since then my girl has used it numerous times and still loves it, to the point that even if she doesn't need to go she will come and sit on it because I'm using the proper one. Unlike the hubster gets to stare at his phone for what seems like uninterrupted blissful hours, I get to ask her 50 times to shut the bathroom door before she comes and sits with me for a chat ? Suffice to say the potty is great and little miss 3.5 loves it.

Our 2 year old seemed about ready to learn to do without nappies but she did not want to sit on a normal potty or an adult toilet (with adapter) without a nappy! So when we saw this "mini" toilet, we thought that we had nothing to loose (except £22)!Once assembled (3 minutes) and shown to her, first reaction was "yuk". Oh dear we thought. An hour later, she was play sitting on it and asked us to take nappy off, and since has kept using her "mini" toilet.Within less than 3 days without wearing a nappy, she pulls down her "big girl pants", goes on her own to sit on it, does her thing, flushes (makes a flushing sound) and then calls us to show how well she did (and for us to clean it obviously!).There were a few accidents during the 3 days training, but after that, all clear. So we think this "mini" toilet is really worth it. The only criticism is that the receptacle could have more of a "beak" at the front of it to make emptying it easier/less splashy. All in all, it has been well worth the purchase.

My 19 month old son constantly has nappy rash so although he is not quite ready to be potty trained I thought this would be a good to have in the room for when he has no nappy on - he absolutely loves it and has used it a few times with my prompting and by himself - which he was delighted with! It is a good height for him - he is 15kgs and is above average height for his age - although I haven't used the splash gaurd due to the fact we aren't actually potty training him yet, he might be a bit small at the moment if we were to use the splash guard. The fact that it looks like a grown ups toilet is a real novelty - plus he can not get enough of flushing it!Would recommend this to anyone - the only con I would have with it is the top part of the toilet, the lid, where the flusher is located comes off a bit too easy and my son likes to carry it/throw it around but I can confirm it is sturdy...

Okay so I never bother leaving reviews for anything but this product LITERALLY CHANGED THE GAME!I've tried several times to potty train my now 3 year old. He would scream, cry and point blank refuse a potty. We knew he was ready so needed something to attract his interest to get things started. We have had this potty for 1 week and we have cracked it! He loves the flush function and the fact it looks like mommy and daddys toilet, making him feel grown up.If you're stuck and not sure what to do with potty training refusal - from a mommy who could have cried trying everything else - please give this a go.The additional splash cover works fantastically for boys.He hasn't refused it or been bothered by it and keeps splash back to a minimum. Its easy to clean and non offensive on the eyes.If in doubt just go for it. I'm so glad I did x

My son refused a normal potty even though it had a back and sides but took to this straight away. Great little toilet design that makes them feel like a big boy! My only quibble that I find very frustrating is if you had a boy you have to use the splash guard. This kind of takes away from the look of it a little but my biggest annoyance is how easy it can come off definately think it should take a little more effort. If my son leaves it to the point of rushing he will sometimes ping it off then causing a mess. Also the lid on the cistern I think should be able to be screwed on so they can't pull it off. I have an 18 month old and he very much enjoys pulling at both items I have mentioned off.Gets very frustrating especially the pee guard! Overall good but still think a couple more tweaks are needed in the design

I got this for my 12 month old daughter to get her used to seeing it and sitting on it before we start potty training. It is a little high for her (though she’s tall at 84cm) and her feet don’t touch the ground. The top to the faux water tank doesn’t stay on if you lift on it or move it and it doesn’t have much weight or anti slide rubber on the bottom. I can see if you had a combative little one throwing a tantrum about the potty this thing would slide across the room as you try to seat them or worse slide out from under them if they kicked it back accidentally while trying to get seated. I give it 4 stars because it’s worked for our needs and doesn’t distract from the task of pottying with lots of dodads and gizmos that her toys have.It looks nice in the bathroom too.

My son absoloutly loves his mini toilet!when it arrived he used it straight away, I was so happy I knew he was ready to start potty training as he always takes his nappy off and runs around twiddling on the floor!(frown lol)back to the product review the product is durable as my son keeps taking the top of and doing what he pleases with it so I think it would of been better if it just stayed on ,but i do like the fact books/little cars can be stored inside.he loves the little toilet flush sound and the fact wipes /toilet paper can be stored in the top and surprisingly don't go all dried up so that's really good.overall great product to get your little one to start potty training as they lovethe sense of responsibility it gives them.

Amazing little potty, my son loves and it has really helped with his potty training journey. He is 3 years and 2 month old, we had a standard potty but he didn’t really like it and always looked uncomfortable if he did sit on it. We’ve been using the toilet potty for four days now, and he is just getting on and doing wee’s on his own.He looks a lot more comfortable when sitting on this and it is a lot higher off the ground. We love it!The little storage thing at the back is small, not big enough for wipes or toilet roll, but maybe a packet of tissues. I’ve been storing bubbles in there and we blow them when my little boy is sat on the toilet.Really recommend buying this, especially if you are struggling with potty training!!
