After failing miserably with my first son to train him till he was over 3 years old, I was sure I wanted something engaging (excuse the pun).My son is 18 months old and used this the first evening he was introduced to it. In fact, we only had one accident the first evening and he used it 7 times before bedtime!Although subsequent days weren't as joyful, since we used this toilet in conjunction with a reward chart (a quick printout of him sitting on his toilet with a pretty colourful background and some cheap and cheerful colourful stars) we've been doing brilliantly so far!I wholeheartedly recommend this and it's easy enough to carry him up the stairs with this in the other hand,

Bought this for my 26month old son. He found the 'normal' potty's very uncomfortable and a little bit scarey!This has been such a great thing to have and have managed to potty train my son very easily!He found this potty much more comfortable and was quite happy sitting on it while watching tv.The sounds made this very fun and inviting to use!The only down fall about this product is the splash guard, (mainly for boys) it comes off very easily and can fall into the potty.I would recommend this but it is quiet expensive, if you have the spare money, invest for a quick, easy and fun way to potty train your child!

This is one of the most innovative, inspired ideas I have come across. It's a potty, but it's so much more appealing than that. When the flusher is pressed, it really sounds like a toilet flushing. Your baby is greeted with a song when he or she sits down and other when the "toilet roll" is used. The song is lovely 'I'm going on my potty now, it makes me proud cos I know how ...' Very cute.The really good thing about this is that it can be detached from the base and used as a booster seat on the toilet so it's very flexible and adaptable.I highly recommend this item for making toilet-training fun!

I tried my three year old son on regular potties and a toilet training seat when we were starting his training but he wouldn't use them. He was petrified of sitting up on the toilet and the regular potty appeared too small for him. I wasn't sure about buying this potty because of the price. Luckily Argos had it on offer and I am so glad I did buy it. My son loves it! He uses it very successfully and loves the music it plays. Potty training in this house has changed from a fraught, anxious time to a smooth fun filled experience. I would definitely recommend this product to other parents.

I bought this potty as my son point blank refused to sit on a normal potty as he said it hurt his bottom! I read previous reviews and decided to buy this even though we thought it was pricey for a potty!! All i can say is that it was worth every penny. Since having it, we havent had any accidents. It encourages him to use it because of the praise it gives him, and then he gets to use the flush. Its also helped the transition to the 'big' toilet as before he was petrified of it. I would highly recommend this product. Probably the best thing i have bought for a while.

I have tried in vain to get my son to use the potty but to no avail...So i got my son to pick his own potty and took him on a little trip to go buy his own potty...Big adventure for a little man..This potty is the best i have ever seen, it's fun, interesting and more comfy that most..Even when not sitting on the potty my son wants to play with the potty, although we havent quite mastered potty training yet this potty has given a real break through..My son seemed petrified by even the mention of the word potty now he will ask to sit on potty..GREAT BUY :D

I bought this potty for my 16 month old daughter as i wanted to start getting her used to sitting on a potty, i had previously bought her a basic one and she wouldn't sit on it at all but with this one she dont mind sitting on it so its great shes still a bit young to fully understand wot it is for but she loves the songs and it has lights inside the potty that come on when a wee is done so that really encouraging i would deffo recommend this product it is a bit pricey but well worth it as a child uses a potty for quite a while

I bought this for my 17 month old daughter so she could get used to having it around, I had no intention of potty training just yet. Within a week of putting her teddies on it for a "poo" she asked to go on it and did her business!!!! I was amazed!!! She doesn't use it all the time, but I don't think I will need to train her as this potty is doing the hard work for me!! It is fun, plays music, sings songs, has a pretend flush and is by far one of the best baby buys out there and well worth the extra money.

I bought 2 of these pottys for my girls and they love them. The toilet design really makes them feel like they are using a proper toilet. The flush action and toilet roll holder are excellent for teaching toilet hygiene. The bowl is easily removed for emptying. Plays a lovely little song whenever the children have used the toilet. the one thing I will say though is that the "flush" is very disappointing it does not make a flushing sound just a ratchety sort of sound as you push the handle down.

After considering the whole novelty potty versus standard potty I was alone in my decision to opt for this one. All my family members said it wouldn't work...How wrong they were! My little boy took to it after the 2nd day. I demonstrated to him that the potty Sang by firstly poring water in it. Once he understood how to make the potty sing, he absolutely loved it - and he initiated going to the potty. The singing is loud enough for me when he goes, if it was any louder i think it'd be too loud.

This potty is fantastic ! Potty training has been very challenging and difficult to start with as our little one didn’t want to use any potty that we already had but since we bought this great interactive potty, our little one changed entirely and decided to use it without any issue ! Our child loves it. This invention is brilliant and is really working. I would recommend it to anyone who’s having difficulties with potty training. Such a fantastic buy, all worth it. I bought 2 of these ! :)

We got this potty for our little boy who is 18 months, to start potty training.He is one of those toddlers that is wary of new things but loves the adult version of everything!! So this was a great choice for him as it looks like a real toilet and he loves that it has a handle he can flush and his very own toilet roll holder!! The only thing we would change is for it to have a few more songs and a clip or lock for the lid and pot as sometimes little hands think it's a toy. But a great buy!!!

I bought this potty for my son and he was n't at all interested in the beginning so I guess he was n't ready. Two months on he plays with it but has started to go in it occasionally. I find he does prefer the toilet though and my Day 1 of potty training has gone really well today. Hopefully he will progress through the week and master toilet training. Personally I think it depends upon the child, I feel it is a good learning potty as he even sings the songs but your child needs to be ready.

My daughter loves this potty. She likes handle to flush the toilet although I thought it would make a flushing noise but it just clicks. She love the songs it plays which aren't not very loud. Seems comfortable to sit on and a good height however if it had higher sides and a non slip base it would make it easier for her to get onto. there are a few design flaws and it is one of the more expensive potties available but my daughter loves that it's like mummy's toilet and that it plays music.

Even though I think this was a tad expensive it was a great buy,My little boy is nearly three and really took to using it.The sounds can be a bit of a distraction at first for them (start to think its another toy!) but after a few days he realized what its true intention was.Must say he now refers to it as his toilet rather than a potty! which will be great as he starts nursery next year and the nursery toilets aren't much bigger than this....just have to master the standing up bit now!!!
