Bought this as have a very tall 2 year old (97th centile) and just could not imagine the discomfort he would experience trying to sit on a normal potty with his knees up at his chin, especially as he does not have much padding on his little bottom. The back rest is good for reassurance and comfort. The splash guard works well for a boy and the ease of taking the inner potty part out to clean is wonderful. The arm rests don't really add any value to be honest. Have noticed the little one has quite a red bum once he comes off but must be comfy enough as he's happy to sit there for 10 min or so with a book or watching cartoons. It certainly looks a lot comfier than other potties we've seen.We had success with the peeing straight away, having never tried a potty before. Would recommend white so that you can see the colour of urine and check that they are drinking enough.

Brilliant, brilliant brilliant! When my son sat on "normal" pottys his wee would just come straight out over the top! The higher front on this potty is perfect for willys! Plus it's higher and wider so it's so much more comfortable for them to sit on. We absolutely loved it - it did the job and we were potty trained within 2 weeks. He loved sitting on it.Yes he sometimes got a red ring on his thighs, but anyone gets that when you sit on a normal toilet for a long time. He didnt complain once that it hurt. It's just one of those things in my opinionLove that the inside came out making cleaning easy. The only downside is that because it's big and an awkward size it's hard to store when you're allfinished.

Our little girl hasn't used this yet actually for going to the toilet in but got it to get her used to it being around and practicing sitting on etc- it was an immediate hit and she loves it! I was a bit dubious about getting anything more than a basic potty- but now we have it I can see the benefit of the high back for comfort, and the removable tray!....on that note, the removable tray actually is also a slight negative in that toddlers will just take it out, put it back in, take it out....so just need to watch little fingers and make sure it's pit back in propearly before sitting on it to avoid skin catching. But as I say, this feature of the removable tray is also one of the main benefits!

I started with just the cheapest Ikea potty, which to be fair does the job just fine, but we needed a potty for downstairs as well as upstairs and so decided to buy this one because it's recommended by 'Oh crap potty training', which is the potty training guide we followed. It is a great potty - it's sturdy, easy to empty as the middle part is small and comes out easily - and it's probably more comfy than the ikea basic potty for my toddler, but she hasn't commented on that (and she is pretty vocal about what she likes/doesn't like). I think this potty probably comes into its own when you have a boy because of the high section at the front, but so far I've only tested it with my daughter.

I thought this potty was rather pricy but since we can use this again for the next baby, and the reviews seemed very good, we thought we'd give it a go.Daughter tried to use it as a chair to watch TV before potty training start and refused to get up. So it must be very comfortable. It is very handy to have the removerable part in the middle otherwise too bulky to clean. We are very happy with the product and think its worth the money. The only slight concern is that when toddlers are transferred to adult toilet, they don't have the back support as comfortable as this but I am sure they can easily adapt.

This potty comes highly recommended. We've recently started potty training with my 15 month old and I was worried that this potty might be too big for him but it's fine. He loves sitting on it and because we bought it in white, it looks similar to the toilet which I think helps in making the association. He is able to sit back and read book while we wait for something to happen! It is very sturdy so doesn't move around when he gets on and off. The middle part comes out easily for easy cleaning. I was initially quite surprised at the price but now feel that it is worth paying the extra for this potty.

Absolutey the best potty on the market. My little grill started using it at 6 months old - it was the best one on a market as has got a very nice high back and it's comfy to seat on - could not try to attempt early potty training (elimination communication) without it! At 18 months she was nappy free using it every day multiple times. Now at 2,5 years old still loves it and shows no interest in using a toilet seat yet. Very happy with it as so easy to empty especially number two. Recommend! Bought it two years ago- we used it every day ever since!

I bought this potty after buying a cars potty that my son just refused to use! He liked it more as a toy so I thought I should buy something that looked like a potty this time!!I found it hard to find a potty to suit boys as sometimes the shield at the front was not good however I did not have that problem with his potty, it has a fantastic back support and when my son stands up the bowl remains in the potty unlike other Pottys!I can honestly say this is by far the best potty I have bought and is worth the money!!

Would give 5 stars if it wasn't so tall (we practiced EC feom 7 weeks over a bucket and have been pottying from 7 months as baby is very big).. otherwise absolute aces. Baby can back into it to get reasonably comfy. She prefers this for a poo than a normal potty as she can hold the back and get herself reasonably comfy. She is 10 months now and can get off it herself but not on. Overall is simply a fabulous piece of kit.

+ I liked that it has the back support for my son to rest+ It also has enough space to spread his legs comfortably.+ Good quick delivery (comes in a large box though)- The pee guard could be a bit higherI still give this 5 stars because this is the 4th potty we have tried to get him to sit on, and with this he didn't hesitate and did wees and poos within a few days.

Id skip all the other potties i tried and just get this one from the beginning. Such a good product honestly. All the other ones i tried always splashed pee everywhere. This one has a high enough splash guard to avoid getting pee on the floor/under toilet seat etc.Easy to carry from one room to another unlike another potty i got. And super easy to clean as well.

Fantastic! My almost 3 year old reluctant potty user jumped straight on and did a wee! He said his old potty hurt him and it was very small so this one is ideal. I think we will will finally get somewhere with potty training now he actually likes sitting on his new potty chair! It also arrived next day with standard delivery which was a lovely suprise!

I had bought a cheap potty but my little girl wouldnt sit on it. I bought this one and it is really good, it has a tall back so is comfortable to sit on for a long time whilst they get used to it. She has read a book on it, put her teddies on there. It is also pleasant looking in the house compared with the multi coloured ones you can get.

The potty is excellent. However I was extremely disappointed when the last potty I received was pink instead of white ( I had ordered 3). I have not returned it because although it is not heavy it is very bulky.Very disappointed and the first time this has happened to one of my ordersA Santos

The potty is really nice, only 1 thing which sometimes happens is my baby's thighs sometimes get caught in the removable part if she is trying to get away...this might not be a problem for bigger babies, mine is 3 months as I have started potty training early.
