I bought this toolbox for all my mountain bike tools, parts and spares. It managed to fit everything I have quite nicely and there's also some room left. Let's break it down:+ Sturdy enough for amateur or even prosumer use.+ Thick handle (which could be a downside for smaller hands or women)+ Quick access top lid: the clasp is amazing, can be opened with one hand very easily and in just one motion you can unlock and open the lid. Looks great also: brushed stainless steel with unobtrusive logo embossing+ Bottom tray is easy to slide out and has metal hinges. It's roomy enough and looks pretty sturdy+ Inside mobile tray is a nice feature, handy to use for catching all the screws, nuts, bolts and parts while working or for storing commonly used items. It's not too deep so it doesn't use too much of inside space+ Very lightweight when empty so it's not going to break your back when you fill it up.- The plastic used is most likely Polypropylene which has a nasty chemical smell. So the inside of this box smells like the underbelly of Shenzen. I guess keeping it open on the balcony for a few weeks will do the trick or a nice bath in baking soda.- The mould used has a lot of edges so the inside space is not a uniform rectangle, but a lot of angles and smaller shapes. This makes fitting some items very difficult so it's a bit tricky to organize larger items.- The build quality and wall thickness is less than other toolboxes that I own from Keter, Bosch or Ryobi. But surprisingly, it's better build quality than other Stanley toolboxes.- Wish the inside compartment was a little higher, maybe 5-10 cm.- The lid only opens to about 100 degrees and in this particular case I wish it flipped to 180 degrees so the lid could act as a support for the inside tray.- Not really a negative point, but only the lid has an anti-theft lock hole. The drawer cannot be locked so keep this in mind if you need to secure its contents.Bottom line, for the price and features, this is a 4.5 star and since Amazon doesn't deal in half-star ratings, I'm giving it a 5. I don't see this toolbox used in a professional environment by paid workers or contractors, it's more for the consumer and prosumer use.

Bought as an upgrade to a pretty standard Stanley 16 inch toolbox which was straining from the amount home cycling mechanic stuff inside it.This seems to be much better made than the standard Stanley toolboxes. It has a metal bar along the hinge rather than just plastic clips and the lid seems sturdy enough to stand on (although it tells you not to). There is one big compartment with a tool tray at the top which can sit in the middle or over to one side of the box (either side), leaving a 3-4" gap, which gives you a more more flexibility for very large items in the bottom. It also has the pull out tray at the bottom which has a few removable dividers which was useful as I use it for a few go to screw drivers and wire cutters etc.The tray uses metal rails and works very smoothly. It has a strong feeling handle on the top and also has recessed handles on the sides for lifting out of a car etc.The one handed catch opener is a really nice touch. Just lift to open and slam the slid to shut. There is a hole for a padlock too.Overall seems excellent. If it lasts then it'll be spot on.

Since my divorce I’ve had to buy all new tools as my ex thought it was appropriate to take everything. So you end up buying this and then that and before you know it, you have a full drawer from hell and a screaming woman asking “where is my measuring tape?”! ???This tool box has solved this issue and now I can find my tools and screws anytime.ProsSturdyStrongGood capacityLockableA good sizeConsI would have liked the main compartment to have a little more depth as it’s already full with a hammer, a drill and large key. This is due to the inner tray which already takes a lot of space inside the toolbox itself. ??‍♀️Ideally I would have liked to be able to keep my drill bits box inside my toolbox, but the toolbox was not deep enough to take it ??‍♀️?If you want something on the smaller side... This toolbox is for you.If you want to fit drill bits in their own case or more than a few tools inside of main compartment... Go a size bigger!I will add some pictures for you to understand what I mean ??

You can often tell the quality of something by how it feels to open and close. This one's good. It feels solid, well-made and reliable. The latch is very nice and makes it easy to access the contents. The handle is comfortable and folds down smoothly. No complaints with the quality. My only quibble is the case is bit smaller than expected. When you remove the tray, what's left isn't that deep. It's because the pull-out drawer for screws etc in the base is eating into the space. In retrospect I think I'd have preferred a couple of compartments embedded in the lid for the small stuff, rather than using up the depth. If you've got loads of tools to store, I'd recommend you look for something larger. For more modest needs however, this is definitely a quality case.

Great sturdy toolbox with a handy drawer and removable tool tray. Although a little expensive this toolbox is Perfect for what I need and actually better than expected. It has a good strong lockable catch on the top lid and a decent tool tray inside. The drawer has a nice sliding action and a catch which is operated when you put your hand under the handle, stops the drawer from sliding out when you don’t want it to. In the past, I have never spent more than a few quid on a toolbox and they tended to last just a year or two. I am confident that this one will last a lot longer. I am considering buying a second one.

Very strong and I find the single lid clip really useful as I can open it with one hand and when you drop the lid back down it automatically locks - I've picked my old one up before, without putting the catches on, and tipped the contents out on the floor. I like the lower tray as you can access it easily and it means that the lid is light as it doesn't have those extra compartments to fill up like most of the other types. I thought that the internal tray not being full length would be a problem but it's very handy to slip a tool back into the box without having to remove that try.

An organised tool box with plenty of space. Quite a large toolbox with plenty of space at the top to fit some of your larger tools and a nice organised tray to pull out making it easier to sort through your different sized screws, bolts, raw plugs etc. Only downside is the latch to open the draw is a pain, the catch seems as if its too big so, you either have to really clasp the latch tight to open or ever so slightly try and bow the tray area to release it properly. Overall a great toolbox even if a little fiddly at times.

Great product. very tough and will hold a good amount of kit. The drawer is very helpful and will store rawl plugs, screws etc. The bext bit of the drawer is that you can take out sections depending on what you need. for example if you had a long brush you can accommodate it.The only down side is that it is quite heavy. It might not be suited to people who don't like lifting or moving heavy boxes. The quick release is great and speeds things up. There's also a space to put your own padlock.

I took a while choosing this toolbox and was not disappointed.I like the comfortable carrying handle an easy to open and close lid catch. The bottom drawer has proved very useful with its subdivided space. I use that for small Allen keys, radiator valve keys spanner’s etc.The only minor criticism is the top tray which feels a little flimsy compared to the rest of the toolbox; it does do the job though so maybe it’s just me!Nice piece of kit at a sensible price.Recommended.

Great combination of a modestly sized toolbox with a tray for smaller items at the base. I guess the tray is designed for screws and nails but I don't suppose I'm alone in preferring to use it for storing jewellers screwdrivers, spare blades, circlips and so on. This leaves the tote tray in the top free for the regular use items like Stanley knife, tape measure etc. Like the fact that it is a simple one catch opening.

Great toolbox especially like the drawer part although it does reduce the depth of the main tool compartment inside.Only slight niggle is that the clasp that clips the box shut is actually PLASTIC not metal as depicted in the advert. Its actually as plastic clasp with a metal plating on it to give the impression that it is made out of metal. Can't complain really given the price however it is a bit deceptive IMHO.

A couple of things stand out on this tool box. The bottom drawer is great; so much better than those compartments on the lid that spew your screws across the floor when you open the lid. The other, surprisingly, great feature is the one touch opening; now that I have experience it I want it on all my tool boxes - it's so simple and easy.I have now bought a second one for my brother.

A big tool box for those of you, who own a lot of hammers and spanners. Its quite deep and robust, there's a tray in the bottom of the tool box for putting very small screwdrivers and spanners. This tool box is made of strong, sturdy plastic so it wont break easily. It isn't fireproof and unbreakable but as long as you don't stand on it you'll be fine. It can be locked using a padlock

i have been looking to store my home tools for ages and i used several different ones, but all failed or broke easily.this tool box is very well made and solid, its fallen down a flight of stairs and off my shed roof and its fine.the draw system is great for screws plus the random bits you get with flat pack DIY things.well worth the money and it will last for ages

Great toolbox for cost. Looks deceptively small in picture, its a large thing with a bunch of storage. I have everything bar my power drill in in (hammer, multiple wrenches, hex and ratchet set, screws/nails/fittings etc). Its also surprisingly light for its size (thanks to the vacuum formed plastic I would imagine) but still retains a very durable feel.
