I have a lot of drill & screwdriver bits, screws, plugs & fixings in a wide range of sizes for furniture, cupboard & storage construction. Because of this I have bought several brands of organisers and these Stanley FatMax ones are the best I have. I bought the 2/3 Shallow Pro and the full sized Deep Pro organiser and I can confirm that they do clip together securely. Nice clear lids mean you can easily locate the contents and the removable trays mean you don't have to carry the whole thing to the top of your ladder or into that dark corner under the stairs. The bright yellow colour also means they are easy to see if you're working with the power off.Once the lid is closed — I recommend using all four latches every time — the lid is rigid enough to prevent items from spilling from one compartment to another. This is essential for a work-site carrier but is not the case with every brand of organiser I have. To test this I picked mine up and shook them after filling them with screws & fixings and not even the smallest 12mm wood screws escaped.Be aware what you are buying and read and compare product descriptions. The full sized organisers, deep or shallow, have larger compartments in than the 1/3 and 2/3 Shallow Pro organisers. The 1/3 and 2/3 organisers aren't available with metal catches which is a shame as they are much more robust.I am sure these organisers have a million uses. Definitely recommended.

The lid doesn't feature the metal cantilever clips like the other Fatmax Pro organisers, however if you engage the grey clips at the sides, which are normally used for stacking boxes, this will secure the lid firmly in place for movement. The lid doesn't fold all the way back, but is stayed around 100 degrees. The handle springs out for carrying and is grey rather than the yellow in the picture. The plastics look to be of high quality. The top is crystal clear and the yellow is vibrant. The bins inside can be stacked on top of one another. Internal dimensions for large bins are 103mm x 73mm * 47mm and for small bins 73mm x 47mm X 47mm (as measured from tops, bottom are couple mm smaller).

I have several of these Stanley organisers in my garage - both the shallow and the Fatmax size and all have been top notch. My purpose for this 2/3 shallow item is admittedly unusual but, once again, it has done exactly the job I wanted. The attached photo will hopefully give an idea of the item's general dimensions and depth in use. If it's of any help to anyone, a typical set of dimensions for one of the smaller 'nano' FX boxes is 9.3cm long x 4cm wide x 4.7cm high

Some similar items have fixed internal dividers so you have to carry the whole box with you. This one has removable tubs you can take out. If you need a number of screws you can just take out the bin you need.Lid fits well. I was thinking about something a bit bigger but it would probably be heavy so I'm just going to buy another one of these! Doing good service already!

This product is excellent, I have five of these clipped onto five other fatmax boxes , I find them indispensable, extremely efficient and very useful.......I highly recommended these and the other fatmax storage systems..........Kind regards Kevin Sanderson, Halifax.........xkxxx

This is a very sturdy organiser box with eight compartments. There are two sizes of compartments - 2 large and 6 small. The compartments can be removed from the outer case. The closure is very secure and the box has an IP rating.

Great product, although when opened the containers do move slightly too much and it is unfortunate that stanley do not offer the sale of the containers separately so that you aren't restricted so the tubs that come with this box

I like being able to lift the boxes out for each job. The Fat Max organisers can be stacked and boxes swopped with the larger organisers. This little one is light to carry, and narrow enough to fit on 'bookcase' shelves.

As expected with the Stanley Fatmax Pro line, high quality at a good price, robust and simple and will last for a long time! clips together easy with other sizes, internal pots easily removed.RecommendedApproved

Durable and nice little size. I keep mybradiator fittings in this. Just enough for a 1-2 radiator job. Nice clips and hinges. Takes a beating and yet no cracks or issues

I already knew the bigger version. That's why I bought the Fatmax pro 2/3. I'm very satisfied. The costs were lower than in Germany, despite the shipping costs.

As a support engineer that travels a lot I’ve found these are the only brand that will withstand the hard life on the road - without paying silly money.

Quality storage to fit inside a tool bag. It also attaches to the larger Stanley fixings storage box for the larger site job.

A good sturdy organiser that I use for fixings, compartments are nice and deep so holds plenty of kit. Highly recommended!
