Binging on Bob Ross, on TV/internet, I had a sudden bonkers urge to get an Afro-wig and fake beard, and dress up like a 'little happy cloud' painter. This wigs pretty good, for the small amount it cost, despoure being brown, and not black, it's not quite the right shade of brown for full-on Bob-Rossitude. Combined with a fake beard I also bought, I get more a Rasputin or Phineas-Freak/Gerry Garcia vibe... still, it's good for some harmless silly fun. Indeed, I have often really genuinely wished I had a 'fro - everyone in early seventies Santana did, even the white cats! - for maximal-funkateering effect. Now I do, and it's optional (I'm not stick with it, as was Bobby Rossiter*).

Although the order for the item was on new years eve I revived the delivery around 1400 new years day. Although the wig itself was a darker shade of brown than the picture depicted it is still a nice shade of brown. The packaging is very sturdy and clearly one of the Smiffy brands items. The wig was wrapped carefully in a hair net and upon opening the wigs shape was very easy to tease into a full afro without ruining the fibres of the wig.Each of the fibres are securely attached to the hair piece and very full upon wearing you could not see the natural hair underneath. Bought this for use with a photo booth business. As a prop its been very popular, made from a very flexible mesh it fits pretty much everyone. Seems quite rugged and durable as its not showing any signs of damage from the heavy handed party goers that use it.Very likely to get itchy if worn for a long period. Not a problem for a Photo Booth but something to bare in mind if intended for use as a costume.

Used this as part of a Bob Ross costume. Not exactly convincing but it does the job of being the 'comedy afro' quite well.Having said that, it does come out of the packet a bit misshapen. It looked better after a bit plumping and frizzing with fingers but I couldn't get it to look quite as good as in the product image.

It was amusing to find a number of reviews by people needing to look like Bob Ross which is why we needed this wig too! Did the job, gave us all a laugh. It fluffs up nicely but does shed quite a bit...still finding bits of the Bob around the house...in the car...on the drive...

This was purchased as my Son had bought me some hair restorer as a Birthday present, so I thought I would wear this wig and take a picture and send it to him saying 'It Worked" So I was very pleased with this productRegards,Barry Reeves

Brilliant wig for a 70's disco party. Please note that as with all wigs, they arrive flattened, so you need to brush them out, to obtain the desired effect. This wig once brushed, gave a good size afro, and it was comfortable to wear.

I thought this wig was fab! After taking it out of the packet for a few days, it got back its shape and looked wonderful on my 70's night!! Cant recommend enough!

Perfect hair for my husbands Bob Ross outfit. People did actually ask if it was real! He had no complaints of discomfort and it was a great addition

have used this wig several times now. Has a real feel to the curls, not fuzzy nylon. Great value for money for an authentic look!

Went beautifully with my beard and baubles. A Christmas hoot
