I was kindly supplied this item free of charge to test and evaluate. In exchange, I agreed to provide an honest review detailing my thoughts:I had always thought that Skullcandy headphones were more of an fashion accessory rather than a serious headphone brand and when opening the box, it looked as though my pre-judgement was going to be correct. The plastic headband and the bright colours usually ring alarm bells with me as a lot of cheap headphones have this. Skullcandy as a brand have always been bright, bold and colourful so this was not a surprise to me. The blue colour is very rich and such a lovely shade of blue with some funky paint-splash-like effect of colour on the outer cups.Once I placed the headphones upon my head,I found the fit very snug indeed. I am usually one to go for the over-ear headphones but these were surprisingly comfortable. I even managed to shake my head around a bit and they did not fall off or even move. The headband is adjustable although they fitted my head great without adjustment. The ear-cups are soft and the headband is comfortable on the head and being lightweight, there were no balancing issues between the headband and the ear-cups.The sound on these is incredible! To say the bass has some bite, is an understatement. Although this does not impede any of the mids or highs. The sound is all-around warm and clear as day. The settings can always be adjusted to taste on your device (I used a Galaxy S3, with my audio preset to 'Rock' mode). As the fit is snug, there is no sound leakage. Meaning that you can listen to your music as loud as you want (within reason) without annoying people near you.The only gripe for me is the click button thing. Although very simple to use, one button for three functions I think it was. I found that when playing my music, once pressed there is a slight skip in the music (less than a second, but nevertheless a little annoying). Also, I kept reaching for the little square thing where the two wires meet (left and right) for the button, rather than the actual button which was a few inches higher up, but that might just be me being an idiot. I guess it will be something for me to get used to.Another feature is the amazing tangle-proof flat cable which does exactly what it says really. It is flat and it is tangle-proof. To date, this has certainly lived up to its name.To sum up, these headphones are great. Seriously, and probably the best set of headphones I have at the moment... Great sound, great design and great value for money!

We've had 3 pairs of these, for a number of reasons.a) we initially picked up a pair in the mall for my 7 year old son who loves his music, because they were £12 and it's hard to spend more on a kid, because they've a tendency to break stuff/ lose stuff/stand on stuff etc.b)they were excellent for the price and so when he did break them, we found them at the same price here on Amazon.c)my other son wanted someSo there we have it- 3 pairs.So, I don't know if they're meant for kids only, judging by the size and look of them, maybe so. I certainly wouldn't wear them!!!So here's the verdict;At £12 they are brilliant value- sturdy, with a great sound and really comfy on the old ears.Adjustable to fit any head!!HOWEVER only the khaki ones were at this reduced price. I certainly would not have been paying double that, just to get another colour. We did not think they were a £25 pair of headphones. Yes the khaki was a bit sludgy but the kids didn't care. They took ages to break, and sounded good. Result, in my book.If we were to pick fault, it'd be the 2 wires coming out- quite irritating and much more danger of tangling etc. I wouldn't choose that again.I've noticed that the price is substantially higher now, than when I bought them. I certainly wouldn't be paying that, especially not in khaki!Skull candy is a brand a do trust, their products are well made and these headphones are well are.Make sure you only pay what they're worth, though!!!

Firstly I Love the sound quality. Its amazing for such a low costIv bought and broken two others but they both lasted me about 9months to a year each (first time only one ear worked in the end n the second time you could hear the beat but not the lyrics to songs)Both times it was something to do with the wiring where you insert the headphones into devices so I've now come to realise you need to be careful with that part.This third time i bought it from amazon rather than a shop and it arrived on time but has two relatively small scratches on leather parts on both ear but not big enough to make me want to return it.Slightly disappointed because the ones I bought from the shops never had them...But I really like that it doesn't have any material going around the headphones. This is good because when it rains, the water just slides off the plastic rather than messing up the headphones altogether.Also that the headphone slightly tilted at an angle so they fit perfectly on ears (unlike the straight headphones that cover your whole ear)

And i love this plum colour.I've been a skullcandy fan for years, i know they break, we all know they break eventually, but i go back for more because i know the bass is decent and they look super sexy. I specifically ordered these ones because of the inline microphone which is really handy in use with my iphone for picking up calls. Though i have been told when i'm on the phone via the headphones, the microphone quality is a bit crap, so please don't expect the mic to be the highest quality. The function to skip the tracks is really handy, but most of the time it doesn't work for me and i just find myself listening to silence for a few seconds because i haven't realised i've paused it instead.I wouldn't let this small thing stop you from purchasing if you're umm-ing and arr-ing though.They do leak sound, like some other reviews have pointed out, i don't mind it that much though. I listen to Earth Wind and Fire for god sake, who wouldn't want to listen to that?

The product is great, however the reason for the 4 stars is because no product is perfect and this one is no exception to the rule. Im going to put it simple and straight with the pros and cons which are listed below:Pros:- Good sound quality- Tidy Wires- End of wire is unlikely to split from casual wear and tear as the end is solid and not flimsy.- Comfortable to wear- Look stylishCons- Sound leaks at half volume (this is tested on a computer)- Two wires come out the head phones (this personally doesn't bother me but it does to some people)- The main wire is a little short (this isn't to much of a problem as its personal preference).Overall though this product is worth every penny and thedelivery service was fast and prompt as I ordered it on a Wednesday and got the item on the following Monday. So if your looking for some good headphones without spending to much then these are the pair for you.

Skullcandy were more of a fashion brand in my opinion but I am pleased to say they are much more then that. I now realise they not only have a great line of options but also sound great! On these Uprock's they are a really good sound for what is paid on these.Good bass with all the right amount of mid and treble which does not sound muddy. I think they have balanced them well.The white and blue goes really well together and I am pleased to report that the build quality is also excellent!I was even impressed by the way they were packed. Presentation is important as you open your new play thing.Loving the music controls. They even work a friends BlackBerry so that is very good as I thought of only Apple.The box states "works with most smart phones" so this is a bonus.The control button also has a microphone to take calls.All this for £30.00. Top marks!!!

These attractive, practical Skull Candy headphones are comfortable to wear and produce a satisfying full sound.I tested the headphones watching videos on my computer, listening to music and to take calls on my mobile.The small mic control has one button with 4 functions, depending on the number of clicks. One click enables you to take/make calls. When listening to music, one click enables play/pause; two clicks moves you on to the next track; three clicks moves you to the previous track.There is no volume controller on the headphones themselves.The flat cables are great, because they really do mean that they don't tangle.The sound produced is rich and clear. These are an all round great value pair of headphones.The more I listen through them, the more I love the sound!

Bought these to use whilst video gaming since it annoys me how often ear buds fall out. They are very pretty to look at and quite durable, I squash them into my college bag so often and they come out looking as new as they did when I bought them. The shape of the wiring also prevents the wires inside from being messed up from long time use and they're very comfortable on my head and quite light, so I often forget I'm wearing them. I'm no expert on headphones but if you want something that looks good, at least has a brand and is used for casual things like listening to music, playing video games or for light travel, I highly recommend these.I love them to bits and my brother also has another pair in black and likes them too.

I ordered these headphones on account of my old lowriders (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004P1HW60/ref=cm_cr_mts_prod_img) breaking (my own fault) these were just what I wanted, a nice plain style, that are well built, have got great sound, and are not too expensive, only thing I would say is that I thought the cable would be white, as shown in the picture, but I prefer it black anyway. I really love the cable, as its flat, and doesn't get tangled up, the sound is amazing, have to take them off if anyone's speaking to me! (unlike my lowriders...) make your head ache a bit at first, but after a while, they're fine!love theseeee!

Bought these on the basis that they're skull candy, and look at the price.I've always found skull candy to be good quality and really good for sound. These even though they're cheap, are not a let down. The quality is good for a set of headphones, they sit comfertably on my head and ears, and the sound is perfect.Weirdly the image doesn't portray the style of cable connected to them, it's not a typical 3.5mm round style of earphone/headphone cable. It does fit 3.5mm perfectly, but the cable is really flat, which I guess just adds to the style and quality.Overall fantastic product, and yes, I'd buy them again.

Packaging was a doddle to get into. These have yet to have been 'bedded in' as I'm reviewing these as new out of box. I listen to a lot of eurodance and dubstep (currently bass-testing song 'Perfect Stranger' by Magnetic Man ft Katy B) so I am looking for some good level bass. They seem to have a good bass driver, and the bass is punchy. Not sure about sound leakage from them as I haven't tested then out in public yet. They sound ok, but not as good as my Beats Solo HDs. Would of preferred earcups than the soft earpads tbh. They look stylish for what they are. Ideal price for how they sound really.

These headphones are great! They're not expensive, they're comfortable to wear, they come in a variety of colours, it has a mic, and the wire is flat so you can put these headphones in a bag for example and the wire won't end up a tangled mess which is fab! The sound quality is better once the headphones have been burnt in. I plugged my headphones into a stereo and played a variety of music for 12hrs continuously and the sound quality is really good now. No problems with delivery or the packaging. These headphones are just what I was looking for and I'm really glad I purchased them :)

Why buy mega expensive headphones when you can get these awesome Skullcandy's for under £20?!!Superb sound, comfortable fit, easily adjustable, great styling and good construction.I listen to rock and metal and these headphones really bring out the detail in the music. There's also not very much sound bleed, so you can have your music on at a decent volume without annoying those around you!The tapered jack is easy to grip & fits well in my iPhone and Samsung tablet (both with cases on).A great purchase & we've got them for all the family (in varying colours!).

Brilliant headphones get what you want for a small sum of money. Great comfort fit just about anyone good strong plastic. Superb sound quality just what I'd expected brilliant for listening to dubstep dance etc there not so good for heavy metal because it so bassy but that can be changed with an equalizer. The cable is a strong flat anti-tangle cable although the connection has cut a few times for about a second. Great design the actual headphones with the grey paint splatters are light grey not quite white. Brilliant headphones for £15 recommended buy

Item arrived on time as promised. I've always brought Skullcandy's, I currently have these in a 'Mustard Yellow' and brought these 'rasta' ones for my Fiancé for Christmas so I haven't opened the item. The item has come new and sealed so I doubt I'll have a problem with them, as I already have my own similar I can just say how reliable and great these are and comment on the nicely prompt delivery.Can't wait to see his face when he opens them & I'm very pleased to say the price was good as mine cost £10 more from HMV, so very happy about the price!
