My last set of Skullcandy headphones lasted me 3 or more years, and I absolutely loved. That was until they fell out of my bag as I got into the car, were trapped in the door and bounced a hundred metres down the road. They were robust, but not that robust. In the last year I have bought 3 new pairs of headphones from other brands. Two broke after a few weeks and were not of good audio quality, the other which I have used for 6 months sounded poor and just didn't fit my ears which I have never had a problem with before. The only reason I went away from Skullcandy was because I wanted a volume control, but having been so fed up of these other options I decided to reinvest these...I have since decided no volume control does not matter to me enough to not stick with Skullcandy.Their stuff is attractive and well made. This set have nice see through plastic that lets you glimpse the inner workings. The sound quality is exceptional, and I am someone who cares greatly about that. What makes these stand out from my last pair is the comfort of the fit. This ergonomic design gives a really snug fit, I actually think these will stay in when running which is not something I normally bother trying. The only negative could be the in-line control. The plastic on this is a little flimsy and managed to snap on my last set whilst loose in my bag. The button still worked, but it is a weak spot and the design has not changed.Exceptional value.

I have been using these headphones for a few months and they have consistently delivered a solid performance. It is clear to me that the manufacturers have not compromised when both designing and making the earphones. These are a good set of budget headphones, which stay in your ear and are comfortable to wear for prolonged periods of time. The earphones arrived swiftly , with a little plastic carry case. The quality of the headphones are good, with the "Off-axis" technology works, enabling them to fit comfortably in the ear for long periods of time, without falling out. They also come with a spare set of smaller earbuds. The in-line control allows you to play/pause, answer phone calls and skip songs. There is also a microphone on the cable, which is handy. The sound quality is average, what you would expect from earphones of this price, clean and clear, however, a little on the bassy side, which some may like, some won't.I cannot fault the quality of the earphones and for the price they are a bargain buy. I did however have some issues with the provided carry case. The case was not as premium as the rest of the product and it was difficult to fit the earphones into the case. However this is a very minor issue as most earphones don't even come with the case and a robust one can be purchased for a couple of pence.Overall, these are a good set of earphones, and I would definitely recommend a purchase.

Originally, I purchased Skullcandy dimes when they first came out (many years ago) and were nearly $40. Everything worked on them perfectly for more than 3-ish years— until the cat chewed them up... I was super upset about that lol. Then I began looking for another pair just like them — then I thought "why not buy them again then?" But it was nearly impossible to find the exact same ones I used to have (especially with 'truly wireless' being all the rage) but I was shocked when I ran across these, I knew I had to get them. There have been too many times I didnt buy something when I knew I should have, and then the item went completely obsolete.I am so happy these headphones are exactly the same color, same beautiful sound, and same factory sealed packaging as the first ones I bought years ago. I love the transparent effect, and coral is such a super cute color. The little purse that comes with it is an iridescent/holographic, leather type quality drawstring bag about 2 inches in height and width. Also, there is a major plus for having an elbow type port (shown in pictures) because it makes holding more comfortable and helps prevents cable breakage, from my years of experience with these earbuds in the past.100/10just wish the cat never chewed them up in the first place lolRead full review...

I have a pair of Smokin Buds 1 and they are fantastic with a superb balanced sound with plenty of quality bass - if you ensure they are sealed in your ear (a bit of experimentation helps here). I also have Sennheiser CX in ears and bought the Smokin Buds to use with the built in mic. And was surprised how much better they sounded than the Sennheisers. Slightly clearer and fuller bottom end. The only drawback with the originals is they didnt stay put in my ear and they are quite sensitive to placement. Anyway, i thought i had lost them last week so ordered a pair of the Smokin Buds 2, and they are different to the 1's because their offset drivers means they fit snuggly in the ear. They have a bit more treble than the 1's and maybe slightly less bass but again deliver a fantastic sound at a good price. Both have good build quality and cables that tend not to tangle - all good.My advice would be to buy either of these, but if you value a deeper bass go for the 1's but be prepared to fiddle with the placement. and if you want a pair that stay put, the Bud 2's will not dissapoint.

I’m leaving this review after 2 weeks of buying them so I could use them to see what they wer like. Skullcandy smokin buds 2. Excellent build quality n great sound. They have a mic so you can use them to take calls too. I very much recommend these n would definitely buy them again. They fit really well n they they sound brilliant. They come with extra earbuds to adjust to your ear size. When being used for listening to music or when your on a phone call they block out any outer noise wen they are in your ears. You can hear everything clearly n crisp. The sound is brilliant. The wire is thin and tangle free. One of the best pair of earphones Iv ever had.Who needs dr Dre Beats when you can have Skullcandy smokin buds 2 which are just as good and much cheaper. ’m very happy with these. 10/10Read full review...

I like these ear bud headphones enough to have bought 4 replacement sets over the years. They get a fair amount of abuse from me, so its not worth my while getting an expensive pair.I go through a fair amount of ear buds, using them every day for 3 - 4 hours. TBH if I get 6 months out of any set I'm a reasonably happy bunny. These seem to last better than most and fit the bill nicely. I've been using my current set for around 8 months. The sound quality is as good as an expensive pair of AKGs I own but, for a fifth the price. My only gripe is that a volume control would be a welcome addition. It has an inline microphone so even if they had added a few quid to include a volume rocker I wouldhave paid it.

The sound quality is excellent, nice bass, and unlike most headphones I've used its speakers don't seem to require a "bedding-in" period - they sound good from first use. My one gripe which stops it from being 5 stars is the annoying hissing which requires one or two button-presses to disable some setting or other that is, unfortunately, enabled by default. This is not something I've encountered with any other headphones. This only tends to happen with certain phones/tablets. However when plugged into my computer and no sound is actually playing, there is always a loud hiss which is not present when I used my old headphones (old Beats Audio earbuds which came with a HTC One M7,dating back to 2013).

Trying the earphones for the first time when they turned up, I wasn't overly impressed by the bass they produce. The bass is good, though I have used bassier earphones in my lifetime. The sound quality is brilliant, it's crystal clear, doesn't distort and they're massive on sound. They're really loud. The controller is a single button that can be used to play/pause music, skip or revert to previous track, answer/end calls (talk using the built-in microphone) and use the digital assistant on your phone (Google assistant, Siri, Bixby etc.)Overall, they're good value for money and with these, you're paying for the earphones. You're not paying for the fact that they're skullcandy.

I actually purchased these as a gift for my future Son-in-Law... He absolutely loves the design of this particular one & I knew he would! I bought them because he loves the Skullcandy brand & has said they are by far the best Ear Buds he's ever used. He put them straight in, said the sound quality was amazing, as is the 'noise cancelling' feature.. The Smokin' Buds 2 are also Moisture Resistant, so perfect for him when he's running home from work or at the Gym. He loves them, they are his preferred brand above all the others & highly recommends them...

I was looking for a new pair of earphones for my Samsung Galaxy S7 and home use on my Laptop, and I had no idea what to expect, but honestly, these are so good, and I'm an Amazon Prime user so I got the for £14.99, so a really good price tbh.The packaging feels really great (sorry I was excited to try these out so no photos) and the headphones do not feel cheaply made, and the sound is super clear. The cable is long enough (if you're like me, then I put under my shirt. :)I would recommend these, truly :)

Used to own a pair of Skullcandy Ink'd Knicks NY, good quality, used to have a mic with a clickable button and a wrap to stop them from tangling. They removed the wrap in the next version, and in the next they removed the mic and button completely. These have everything you need. No more damaging the end of the cable, there's a plastic grip that fits the tip of your finger to unplug and plug it in. Great sound quality, and you can wear them over your ear or normally with optimal comfort. Great product.

they r honestly a lot better than i thought they would be. i got them as a spare for the meantime as my apple ones broke. was going to get apple ones again but i think i’m gonna stick with these as they have the same sound and quality in my opinion. only thing is they r a little uncomfortable sometimes as can’t seem to get them to fit my ear but i can live with it as they r a fraction of the price of pricer ones or even the more affordable apple ones. have recommended and will continue to recommend.

Earphones have always been a no no for me as they never stayed in the ear and that was before moving around or walking. Finding angled ear buds on a tour bus was a revelation, they actually stayed in my ear! Following this success my wife researched angled earbuds from decent makes, got me these and I've never looked back. Being autistic I need to be able to reduce noise and these have got me out of countless situations where previously I would have struggled with earbuds that would just fall out

10.1.2019

I like these earbuds and they sit in my ears comfortably, and they came with a bag of various size inserts which is great. The sound quality is really nice especially for the price and the noise cancellation is top notch. The only thing letting these down is the cable. Whilst the length of the cable for me isn't a problem (it fits from my ears to my pockets easily) it IS a bit shorter than other cables which may be problem for some. Good earbuds but if you need a long cable maybe look elsewhere

11.7.2018

With their sleek design and a cable that really doesn’t tangle ...I’m loving these simply for how easy they are to use. Sound quality becomes ever so slightly tinny when the volume is on the highest setting, but it’s so loud I wouldn’t recommend anyone damage their ears so that’s not really a con. To someone who isn’t a professional, but loves and understands the clarity of musical beats, these literally don’t have anything wrong at all. They sounds great with both slow songs and upbeat ones.
