This is a nice tasting gin, the gin appears a strong blue when first in the glass when tonic is added is changes to a pinkish purple colour, this has wowed guests. I think the effect is derived from the tonic diluting the gin, but still looks nice, so the amount of colour changing effect depends on the quantity of both liquids. The bottle is a little of the small side so you may find you use it sparingly as a magic trick. To get full 5 stars it would need to be cheaper

Bought it as a gift just as something different mainly for the colour changing as that was unusual. Didn't really know what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised as it tastes rather nice. Slightly sweeter flavour than some, but different and distinctive and worth trying. The colour changing adds an unusual twist and a talking point, and it went a bright purple colour when I added Fever Tree Mediterranean.

This tastes fine, a nice gin.The colour change seems to be just a diluted version of its original colour though and goes the colour one would expect if you added something to a blue/purple liquid - it goes kind of paler blue/purpleAlso, if you leave it a little while, all colour goes from it. I now have a half bottle of clear gin.

Arrived within the day, a gift for a friend as I simply love this gin and so does she now!It tastes delicious, very delicate, is very nice with russchian, and good with tonicVery pretty in the glass for the folk out there who like pretty! As it turns pinky lilac, Especially arrtactive with the blue icecubes!Highly reccommend .

My husband got me this for Valentines day, knowing I love gin and that purple is my favourite colour.The taste is not bad, the "magic" is great and a great party trick! Recommend fever tree tonic as well with it :-)The gin content is quite low because of the shape of the bottle of the bottle, so it goes down very quickly.

Lovely gin , of course to achieve the pink effect you have to use tonic water with quinine ,as it’s this that reacts to turn the blue pea, to turn it pink, the original origin in India ,where the blue pea grows ,of pink gin . Standard tonic water will not have this effect as it no longer contains quinine

Arrived promptly. A lovely bottle of gin, slightly smaller bottle than usual but the novelty value of the 'magic gin' that is supposed to change colour when mixer is added is a great idea but I cannot comment if it does as bought as a gift for a gin lover.

Wow bought this Sharish Blue Magic Gin as well as the Original Sharish Gin,and I must say the Blue is without a doubt the best Gin I have ever tasted,it's a pity the postage for 2 bottles was £16.50 and only a 500ml bottle but great for special occasions.

Bought this as a gift, they absolutely love the taste and it is quite interesting to see it change colour from the blue you can see in the photos to a nice pinkish hue. Seen this gin pop up in a few bars near us now and is definitely worth trying

Great Gin. The bottle looks very impressive. This was bought as a gift and it did not disappoint. We used it with Fever-tree Mediterranean which really worked. The colour changes to a vibrant pinky/purple. Would highly recommend.

I did think this gin was just a gimmick but my husband, who is the gin drinker, loves it. I tried it and was pleasantly surprised as gin is not a drink I enjoy but this one really is smooth and one I would definitely buy again.

It's gin. It's delicious. And it's blue.... until you add tonic and then it turns pink. Just like a litmus thing.I find that girls love this and want to see it happen again and again. Use science to get girls drunk - sorted!

Good quality gin, but I prefer Hendricks. Worth the novelty and glad I tried it. Probably wouldn't buy again as not to my taste when weighing up the price. Nice bottle for a candle holder now.

Love this gin and so do others I've generously shared it with! It's tastes so fruity. It's a beautiful shaped bottle which empties quickly. It only changes colour with tonic which I don't like

Absolutely love! It arrived the next day and I gave it as a gift and the people were delighted! I then won a competition and won a bottle for myself!! Excellent customer service!!!
