I purchased this filter wool not as you would think for fish tank use but for use in a caravan water filter. I've used this product for many years, replacing the charcoal with this wool after a couple of months use and then just replacing the wool as required. It works very well, polishing the water and removing any physical impurities.

A packet of 5 Juwel filters costs the same as this 100g packet of filter wool. I have used this make of filter wool for some years and it does the job for a fraction of the price.

Best way of buying filter medium, save ponds over the tailored boxed sheets, tear of a handful run it under some warm water an fit it in the filter, brilliant.

Much cheaper and better value than buying the pre-cut and packaged squares; just tear off what you need, fold and soak. Does a brill job.

Use this as a filler for my ecigarette cartridges,works well and plenty to last me a good few years, would recommend this.
