I had the same brand and model of this filter for a long time using for my turtle tank. Unfortunately it stopped working. I understand that because I rarely turned it off, running non stop, day and night, for almost two years. I tried a new brand and it wasn’t good. So, I decided to keep this same Sera Filter. But I notice that there were some little changes and this new one is a little bit noisy. It would be a 5 star if it was the old (and silent) one.

It is so quiet that you do not hear. I'm very content how it works in a 110l aquarium.
