Unboxing:The Earphones come with a nice circular leather case, micro usb charging cable and some alternative sizes of silicon ear tips. They are wireless but they are joined by a short cable that contains two small in-line boxes. This cable is long enough to be worn around the back of the neck or the front and does not get in the way at all. The in-line boxes house battery and electronics and the buttons to control the earphones.Usage:Powering on the earphones by a long press of the central button gives you a voice prompt message that they are indeed powered on. There are three buttons that have differing functions based on the current use, ie, music playback or a telephone call, depending on duration of press. Whilst listening to music for example, a 2 second press either advances or goes back a track. A shorter press, either up or down, controls the volume. The central button pauses or resumes play with a short press. Pairing via bluetooth 4.2 is easy. I tried them with an iPhone 6S, Hiby R3 Dap and Astell & Kern SP1000 DAP and there were no issues at all. Connection wise they were very stable, with the iPhone pairing being the best, giving a range of at least 20ft and with me going outside whilst the phone remained inside. The other two devices had a much more limited range, barely making it out of the room before the sound began to hiccup. This was not the fault of the earphones as the iPhone proved, more a case of my DAP's wireless inadequacy, but something to bear in mind. Charging via standard micro usb using my iPhone charger took a little over an hour and gave, on average, a good 5.5-6.5 hours use at medium to loud volume. The charging micro usb socket is under a rubber cover on the 3 button inline control. Using the earphones to make and receive calls seemed fine, with people at the other end able to hear me clearly. My only comment is that I did seem to have my own voice fed back through the earphones, resulting in me having to remove one so I could hear myself better. That could just be the interaction with the iPhone 6S i tried it with. Sound:If you are used to the other Momentum headphones in Sennheiser's range you will know that they have a definite V shaped signature with a nice crisp top end and pronounced bass at the lower end. Bearing in mind I have a pair of both the HD800S and IE800S that are Sennheiser's top of the line over ears and in ears, I was very impressed with the sound these little earphones produced. For use whilst out and about, commuting on a plane etc, they are just fine. The bass on these earphones still sounds powerful even when outside or on a plane etc. They give a very good musical performance, great instrument separation and are very clear for vocal, TV, film watching etc. Conclusion:With the wealth of alternatives around for wireless headphones, these wireless earphones offer very easy setup and use, great Sennheiser sound and good battery life for a reasonable price. Highly recommended. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Having used the Momentum Free headphones for a good few days I can honestly say I’m pleased with my choice. Design & UseThe headphones come nicely packaged in a circular zipped leather case along with your USB cable and different sized ear adapters. The headphones look amazing, and when you hold them you can tell that they are made from premium components. First time wearing the headphones they felt insecure, and the buds kept falling out of my ears all the time. I then spotted that as a ‘lefty’ I was wearing them the wrong way around (as I wanted the control accessible form my left hand). Once switched over they were comfortable and secure. I also spotted there are 3 ridges on the left bud to identify your left from right. My other issue when wearing round my neck but not in the ear was the strength of the magnets. Having experimented in various ways I found that crossing the buds then joining makes a massive difference to the magnetic strength and allowed me to then wear them without fear that next time I look down they’d be gone.Connectivity and functionality Bluetooth pairing is easy, and they support up to 9 devices. The instructions said that you need a special USB dongle for PC connection, but thought I’d try anyway… Connect via USB, switch on the headphones with Bluetooth search enabled on the PC - it works! Great for listening to music, and maybe the occasional Skype call. However, definitely not to be confused with proper business headsets as functionality is very limited.Call/voice control is by the 3 buttons below the right earbud and is the usual combination of taps and long pushes to control functions which takes time to get used to. Nice that audio prompts are in a British English accent for a change. Audio QualityThere is a definite difference in the experience depending on the source and the apps you’re using to listen to it. However, overall the audio quality is excellent and crystal clear. If I had to be critical I’d like to have a little more volume and bass on tap without having to lean on an EQ to assist. But that’s a small price to pay for the clarity you do get. Captune combined with Tidal sounds stunning and allows EQ adjust. But on the negative Captune does limits your ability to use other streaming sources (Amazon, Spotify etc.). For those I tried a 3rd party EQ app which worked, though not quite as good as Captune.SummarySennheiser have created a really impressive compact and portable headphone with the Momentum Free. The design is subtle, stylish yet remains functional. Audio clarity is simply stunning but does definitely benefit from an EQ boost to make them really shine. If looking for premium in ear Bluetooth headphones with a small form factor and long battery life (for the size), then these are definitely to be shortlisted. First impressions of the Sennheiser Momentum Free were good. Unboxing revealed a smart black leather case containing the wireless in-ear headphones and the spare ear buds to achieve that custom fit. The headphones looked high-end, using quality materials throughout. The cable has a rubberised feel that slides across itself reducing the chance of tangles when stored and making them sweat proof for gym users. The plastic and metal elements are moulded to a high-specification and feel solid. Overall, giving a lightweight, high-quality design. There are magnets on the rear of the ear buds that allow them to click together around your neck when not in use. However,I feel that these magnets are a little too weak to give confidence in them snapping together securely.Pairing the headphones via Bluetooth to my iPhone X and iPad was very straight forward, with voice prompts to guide you. Once connected, I found the Bluetooth connection to be rock solid and I didn’t experience any dropouts during playing. I used the headphones for my daily commute, listening to music at work/gym and occasionally at home for watching videos. Once you have ensured a good seal in your ear canal with the right size buds, I was blown away by how good the soundstage was from these tiny earphones. There was plenty of bass (without being overpowering) and a good balance of mid and high-range. Overall, the soundstage was very capable giving smooth vocals, deep lows and clear high frequencies. So good in fact, that they revealed subtle recorded elements on some tracks that I have never heard before on other headphones!Track control and call answering is achieved by the three buttons on the headphone’s lead. These are well positioned and intuitive to use. The only slight negative here is that the buttons could be more pronounced to give a more positive feel.Battery wise, I achieved on average 5.5 hours per charge. This I pretty close to the advertised 6 hours so all good. Charging is quick and easy via USB.In summary, these headphones have excellent sound quality in a lightweight, wireless package. If you enjoy your music on the go, you’ll absolutely love these! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Comfort 4/5One of the first things I check with an in-ear set of earphones is how comfortably they sit in the ear canal. The construction of these Momentum Free in-ear earphones is so good that they sit quite comfortably in the ear. They are also made of soft plastic so as not to cause any friction of the inner ear skin when walking around. To get the best results from these earphones, you need to really push them into (not too deeply or uncomfortably) the ear canal. When you don’t do this, the bass is not as prominent. Sound 3/5The sound is pretty good from these earphones, although there is a tendency to have a slightly higher treble sound. This is easily compensated, if you don’t like it,by configuring your equaliser on whatever music app you are using. Commute 4/5These earphones actually work really well for me when I commute on the London underground. Over-ear headphones provide better noise cancellation (these have none built in, but by their nature of being in-ear earphones, they provide a little bit of noise cancellation), but you can easily miss any announcements, as I have done on many occasions. They also provide enough noise cancellation to protect my ears from some of the really loud sounds of the trains in the underground. Controls 4/5 The controls are really good, with the usual volume up and down and then pause. Long press on volume up and down skips and goes back a track. When the earphones power on, they do so and pair very fast, much faster than some of the other ones I have used before. Final ratingI really love these earphones. They have a really good battery life, a little longer than the 6 hours advertised. You don't need to listen to the music at top loudness as they are very well designed and deliver the sound well to your ear canal. I rate these earphones 4/5. My reason for not giving top marks is the slightly higher treble sound I experienced. Otherwise, a great set of in-ear earphones and one i would definitely recommend. I have had these for less than a month and I would recommend to anyone already have recommended to family. You definitely get what you pay for with these headphones. The bluetooth wireless is simple and easy to use and set up in seconds. I have set them up to my laptop and smartphone with no problems and remembers the headphones after set up. They are of quality craftsmanship with soft to touch rubber and very comfortable to use you barely feel their there. They also come with different sized ear pieces to fit properly for different users. A cool little feature is when your not using them the earpieces magnetise together safely keeping them around your neck!.Only thing I would change is the availability to have headphones in various colour options. Another thing I like is the battery life which lasts 6 hours and you can press the lower control button (minus button) to check how much battery life you have left. Also you hold your finger on either the plus or minus buttons to forward/backward to other songs. The middle button is great for pausing music, answering phone calls and switching from various phone calls simultaneously. You can even reject a call (by pressing middle button for one second when calling) and then music will continue to play. The sound is so clear because all other background and external noises are cancelled out allowing you to hear the music at its fullest and feel the base changes. It also comes in a lovely and quality genuine leather case to protect them when in your handbag also great to keep the USB charger with you when needed. I love Sennheiser headphones. The packaging is, as usual, first rate in terms of the feel, look and accessibility. The box displays, in several languages, the blandishments of the contents within. Upon opening the box your initial reaction will not be one of disappointment. Ignoring the 3 sets of instructions, which I frequently do, the interior contains the 'phones, extra buds and a very stylish carry case which some reviewers have described as over generous which I believe is perfectly acceptable. The 'phones are situated in the case and are accompanied by a charging cable, not previously mentioned, in a separate compartment. The alternate earbuds are housed in original plastic packet and allow for 3 extra options dependent on the size of your canals.Be warned, when you insert the buds, you will need to ensure the fit is snug in order to maximise performance.Once in the resulting soundstage is impressive, bass, mids and treble equally represented. The design, with the "around neck" emphasis competes with the "wireless" versions based upon the sound quality alone. They are very attractive and will suit Fashionistas wishing to make a personal statement.I would recommend a purchase bar one reservation. They may not suit all ear canals, despite the bud options, so comfort and session time may need to be factored in. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

These in-ear headphones come with a wonderful leather case and the quality continues throughout. The quick setup guide is heavy on pictures and light on words but is comprehensive enough to set up and pair the headphones up quickly. I charged mine up using the supplied cable before use to make sure I got the longest life from them.Using the medium sized adaptors (out of the three sizes) worked for me and they fitted snugly and comfortably. They are angled to fit your ears nicely. They can be worn in front of or behind your neck and if behind can be joined using the magnets inside them. The control block and I guess the electronics block are quite close to the headphones so do dangle by yourcheeks a bit when you wear them and could make it obvious you are wearing headphones. The sound quality is wonderful with very sharp highs (a lot higher than my ears can hear!) and reasonable lows and the musical balance makes listening to music a pleasure. I listened to some test tunes and they do miss out on the lowest frequencies compared to over the ear headphones but that is to be expected with the size.I also tested them on phone calls, Netflix and podcasts from my iPhone and the sound quality was perfect throughout.I am really pleased with them and will wear them whenever over the ear headphones are impractical. I got these headphones a couple weeks ago and have been using them every day for listening to music while I am focusing on work. The item is present nicely when unboxed and love the carrying case it comes with, make storing it while traveling easy. Pros:It has great clarity and detail for the money, also they do block background noises as well. The headphones themselves are quite light and sometimes I can forget that I have them around my neck. I also like that you can adjust the adjust the length via the attached slider, and can choose to run the cable either behind your neck or under your chin. Cons:I don’t really have any, however, if I was nitpicking,it would be that you have to get used to the different controls for next and previous. For me anyway, I am used to double-clicking the volume up and down however on these headphones you have to hold them. One feature that I have not used yet is the mic as I don’t really have phone calls when I am using them. Overall I would recommend them for any looking for a great pair of wireless headphones/ earphones with great audio quality. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

First things first. The battery life on this is good, it recharges pretty quickly, and there's no need to worry about running out mid run or in the middle of a journey as long as you keep an eye on the battery level. With that out the way, these are super comfortable headphones with Sennheiser's usual high quality finish and sound quality. If you've ever had a pair of in ear momentum's before then these are just as good as a wired pair, with all the added convenience of wireless. On that note, these are light enough that while you might not forget you have them on, you won't mind. The range is good enough that I can have music running from my phone and move around adjacent rooms with no problems (your mileage may vary on this front though).I really can't emphasise enough how good it is being able to walk away from your phone and not have a break in what your listening to. While these are obviously more expensive than the wired pair of in ears, I have to say I think it's worth springing the extra money. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have been using Senheisser products now over a decade now and I don't think I will ever move to any other brand just for the sake of change. I preordered M2IE when it was getting released and till this date has not disappointed me. The best part of the product is it is such lightweight and keeping up to the momentum sound quality. The clarity is superb and you can get that extra kick of bass. The cord connecting both ear pieces rests perfectly around your neck. Ideal for sports and made for the fast moving world. Bluetooth connectivity is very easy to set up. The only thing that disappoints me sometimes mic doesn't respond very well even though call reciveing clarity is perfect.Product can seem to be pricy but it really doesn't disappoint you for what you get and is really long lasting. I would definetly recommend this to everyone who is someone like me a commoner daily travel by bus tube gym home.. On the run all the time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I recently added these earphones to my collection and they have not disappointed. Fabulous sound quality and excellent comfort in the ear add up to a first class product from Sennheiser. Sound is brilliant across the whole spectrum of my music collection. Charging the headphones is easy and speedy, in ear comfort is unbelievable, 4 different sizes of ear adaptors are supplied and are easily changed. Bluetooth pairing is achieved in seconds, the connection remains steady and functions brilliantly through thick walls up to a distance of approximately 30 feet. In ear noise cancelling is excellent, no leakage to disturb others within 4 feet is quite amazing, when you realise that these headphones are not marketed as having noise cancelling properties. These Momentum Free headphones tick all the boxes and are very strongly recommended. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Firstly I was impressed with the high quality packaging, giving some indication of the premium product inside. There is also a quality leather case included to protect the units. The headphones are well made and stylish. They were easy to pair with my bluetooth device and had a very solid reliable connection.I was very impressed with the sound quality which was a clear, open, dynamic, detailed sound suiting many kinds of music.Although I felt they were particularly good with classical music.I did feel the top end was slightly harsh initially but this could easily be adjusted to personal taste with an equalizer app.Overall i felt they were an excellent, prestigious product and although quite expensive would be worth it for the discriminating user who would appreciate the top notch sound quality and high standard of construction. Over the years I have used several types / brands of headphones and this model is just amazing. The sound quality is impressive for both listening to music and making calls. They stay in the ears very well, even when turning your head side to side. They are also very light which is both good, from a comfort point of view, but also a slight downside as you can forget you have them on if you're not listening to anything. The magnetic clasp to hold them together is not very strong and can come apart easily. The battery life is very good and more than enough for the average commute to and from work or even for a longer journeys. The case for the headphones is both practical and stylish and avoids the headphones becoming tangled.I would definitely recommend them and have been nothing but pleased with them.
