I bought this as an alternative to my g’n’t during the week. It’s important to note that this is not supposed to taste like gin, which some reviewers have marked it down for! And some people have complained that the primary ingredient is water and only 15% botanicals etc... other drinks are made like this, so any time you buy something flavoured or alcoholic you’ll find that the primary ingredient is water, and the flavourings make up only a tiny percentage.Anyway. It has a refreshing citrus flavour. You aren’t supposed to drink it alone as a shot, either - you’d be a bit disappointed. But with a mixer, I think this is a really nice drink. If you are not tee total, and drinking this just doesn’t have that kick of flavour gin has... try decanting it into an empty gin bottle, or add 2 shots of gin to the whole bottle. It doesn’t sound like much, but I’ve found it does add a touch more of the complex finish you get with alcoholic drinks that you don’t otherwise. As there is about 28 shots in a normal size bottle of gin, a couple in the equivalent size seedlip isn’t going to push you over the limit! It is expensive, and that’s the only downside. I only use one shot, not the two they recommend, and find it works well for me. I add some rosemary and basil to mine, sometimes some frozen raspberries.

We have long been converted to Seedlip non-alcoholic drinks. They have great flavour (but don't expect it to taste like traditional gin) and we find it totally satisfying as an alternative especially when on a diet programme such as Slimming World or Weight Watchers. The new orange/citrus variety "Grove 42" is great - almost like the Tanqueray Sevilla but without the alcohol.I see numerous comments about value etc. but bear in mind this product is produced in the same way as gin i.e. it is distilled (with water not spirit) with botanicals. the result is a premium quality product good enough to be on the drinks lists at Michelin Starred establishments and an increasing number of other venues that recognise the need for good quality low-alcohol or alcohol-free alternatives.Highly recommend it. Always use a high-quality tonic like Fever Tree or similar or look on the Seedlip website for great cocktail recipes.

I decided to buy this one, following my previous purchase and taste of Seedlip Spice. In comparison to my taste buds, Seedlip Spice was very sharp and strong whilst this one Seedlip Grove is quite tangy and refreshing with its hints of oranges and lemons. This product will go well when mixed with fruit juices and would make good tropical mocktails as well as classical non-alcoholic versions of gin and tonic. I liked using this drink and in spite of any other negative review would highly recommend it to any adventurous drinkers who would like to try something new out of the ordinary. I do hope that Seedlip will continue to make great natural non-alcoholic botanicals like this one.

If you are rating Seedlip Grove against a citrus gin such as Amalfi Pink Grapefruit or the like then it won't hit the mark... It's not a gin! As a very grown up non-alcoholic and sugar-free drink it is brilliant though which is what it should be measured against. The price is high given it contains no alcohol but the taste is great. I make it with Fevertree Naturally Light Mediterranean tonic with a piece of grapefruit in it and it is great.Would I drink this if I could have a G&T - simple answer is no however I can't drink alcohol at the moment and I abhor sugary drinks so this is a brilliant substitute; I was not looking forward to just drinking water non-stop.

Great help in increasing the number of alcohol free days. Anyone that buys this thinking it’s meant to taste like and Gin and Tonic is setting themselves up for disappointed. If you buying because you want a more sophisticated soft drink that orange squash or some bottle green cordial I think you will be delighted. Only negative for me is the cost especially given you need to use a double shot meaning it is actually more expensive than gin or vodka which doesn’t feel right given there isn’t duty on it. Sure as the non alcoholic area becomes more competitive so will the price.

Of all the Seedlip flavours, this is my favourite. A very subtle, adult tasting non-alcoholic spirit, which is great with a good tonic water. An excellent alternative if you want to join the party but want to avoid alcohol. Others I have tried have proved too sickly sweet or rather medicinal but this is just right! A tad expensive but now a staple on my shelf using Amazon Subscribe and Save.

As citrusy and refreshing as your usualgin and tonic. Usually add a slice of lemon. I think these brands have worked hard to produce an authentic flavour and experience and I get cross when I read reviews from people who try and compare it directly with alcoholic gins. You cannot make a direct comparison; drink the real thing and don’t complain if it bothers you that much!

I really, really like this. It does remind me of gin and I enjoy mixing it with tonic, ice and a slice and settling down after 6pm for a completely guilt-free drink any day of the week. I prefer the Grove (citrus) to the other two flavours. Refreshing and kind to the liver. Alcohol is now for special occasions. Seedlip is for any time I darned well please.

So after reading all the reviews I decided to try this gin and tonic alternative. It does not taste like gin but I definitely find it refreshing and much tastier than just the tonic and lime or seltzer water. I would highly recommend Seedlip Grove 42 as a tasty alternative to Gin. The flavors blend together nicely.

I was looking for something that would make a long refreshing drink that contained no sugar, not alcohol substitute. It hit the spot for me but I would use double recommended serving as it is quite weak in flavour. Great over ice with rosemary and a slice of orange with soda. Dont expect it to taste like alcohol.

I took a gamble spending so much on something I had never tasted but I can honestly say I loved this drink. I mixed it with lemonade and it made a refreshing summer drink which very much gave the impression through scent and taste that it was gin and tonic. Highly recommended, all the taste. None of the hangover.

Love this product. It’s full of flavour and a great gin replacement during pregnancy. It has a lovely fresh, tangy flavour, which in my opinion isn’t too far off the alcoholic stuff. Great to be able to join my partner in a ‘gin’ and tonic outside during the hot summer afternoons. Would definitely recommend.

I am not normally a lover of non-alcoholic beverages, I feel that they lack the punch and flavour of the original. This is the exception that proves the rule. I could drink this with ice and tonic all day long, and apart from not getting drunk, can't tell the difference from the real thing.

Of the three non alcoholic spirits currently available from this distillery, Grove is my absolute favourite! Do not understand the negative reviews, but everyone has an opinion. Just purchased my second bottle...love it!! I simply add tonic and a twist. All the taste without the headache ;)

Bought this on a whim as I wanted to reduce my alcohol intake and was very pleasantly surprised. I wouldn’t suggest for a moment that it actually tastes like gin, but it definitely is a pleasant drink that could fool you into thinking it was alcoholic. I will definitely be ordering more!
