I have relaxed afro hair. I always had thick shiny well conditioned hair, that is until my hair began greying and I needed to resort to using semi-permanent hair colours.I suffered from 6 main problems:1. The semi-permanent colours dried my hair out, causing breakage2.The colours didn't cover the grey hair3.They initially covered the grey hair, but washed out after 2 or 3 washes resulting in more frequent use, consequently dehydrated brittle hair4. Caused an allergic reaction5. As they faded the grey hairs turned green6. To gain sufficient coverage I had to resort to using their darkest colour and my hair looked unnaturally black when colouredThe Cellophane is marketed as a stain I think !!

Very messy to apply. Make sure you use old towels, wear old clothes and plastic gloves plus have cotton wool and toner on hand to remove any stains right away as this stuff really stains.I used Espresso Brown which I think is the best match for my mahogany brown hair. Applied to just washed and conditioned, towel-dried hair for an hour with cling film over and a towel to heat things up a bit.Once rinsed out and dried my hair looks beautiful and the colour looks gorgeous. I've hardly made a dent in the massive tube.Edit: I've washed my hair three times since applying this gloss and the colour still looks great, even where I have grey roots (although it has faded a little at the roots)

Amazing product! First time I feel my hair is healthy as before I started coloring due to greys. I am a brunette and use caramel browm to cover the grey hair. The effect is natural highlight, the cellophane cover the greys in a lighter tone and my brown hair continues the same. The feel of the hair after the treatment is amazing!

I love this stuff! It really does make my hair more glossy and well behaved but I think it’s effect is soon lost through washing your hair so not entirely convinced the cost is and effort is worthwhile. For a shine boost once in a while though it’s great! I have relaxed hair and I use the clear rinse.

Sebastians a bit full of himself is he not?. We were an appointed salon but the need for the product range wained and we still wanted this which clients loved and was popular as a shine service (very good on coarse, grey hair). Good price as a single item and will continue purchasing.
