Ive played all SBK games and all main bike games over the years. This is the best one yet.Changes-You now have marshalls waving flags-Thankfully this year you have the legends included. Sure theres no Haga R7, Corser RSV, Toseland CBR; theyve taken the shortcut option with lots of 996s', but at least theyre there and the bikes are very enjoyable to ride and have their own characteristics. (Note-Slight is a Kiwi not Australian)-Your nickname is now on the base of the leathers so you get the sponsers logo on your back which is smartPositives-Challenges mode is very good. You have some more tedious ones, but the head to head races are great.-Graphics are excellent. With all enhancements/effects on this is a great looking game.-As per SBKX the main bikes are actually all quite evenly balanced so you can choose the Kawasaki or the BMW and run with the Yamaha and Aprilia. Makes for varied online matches rather than a grid of all the same bike as per in the 09 version when everyone chose Kiyonari!-Good, varied soundtrack-No more arcade mode to have to play through to unlock items-Better, simpler menu system minus needless cartoony fan areaYou can do a quick restart in time trial mode. No needing to go back to pits then back out on track.-Although not in the calender this year theres Qatar and Vallelunga to play on.Negatives-Handling; whether realisitc or not there was a massive change in the last 2 games as to how to ride, be it braking in corners or not. Unfortunately this one has some changes again, meaning corners have to be taken a lot slower-Simulation options. No tuning of auto brake, traction control as per 09 version. Just low, medium and high. The low actually brakes for you(!) and high has you crashing in an instant so youre stuck with medium.-You still have to use number 78 for your own rider; I dont see why you couldnt pick your own number-Running last years Supersport chamipionship is a shame as theres no R6s to play withAll in all an enjoyable title and worth the price you pay on Amazon

As a racer myself (I ride a 2007 R6 on the track) I have to say that they have achieved that almost impossible task of making you feel like you're actually riding a motorbike. You have to be patient and also prepare to be annoyed a few hundred times, but stick with and it and it will pay you back.It feels quick and if you use the second of the onboard camera views to ride from, it is as close as you can get to the real thing - believe meI like to ride the Triumph 675 and it sounds and handles great.I only bought the game a few days ago and so far I've only raced around the track on my own in "time attack" mode.I have sbk 2009, which I think looks a bit better graphically, but who cares if the trees look a bit pixelated if the ride feels so realistic in the latest version. The onboard views in 2009, although looking great were hard to see where you were going on corners so you end up with the behind the bike view, which is just too unrealistic. Its not just for the purists, my 7 year old son has been playing on it for hours with all the helps turned on.For me, I just wanted to feel the realism, I struggle with the buttons and getting a balance right isn't easy. I hate having auto gears but my brain just can't handle changing gear with buttons.I can never normally be bothered to write reviews for games but I was so impressed that I thought I would share my views. If you're after a realistic motorbike simulator with great sound - buy this game.

I really enjoyed SBK X, I was hooked so recently decided to purchase SBK 2011 and I'm mostly pleased with the product. The physics, the graphics and overall gameplay is pretty good.I especially enjoy the helmet camera. My only issues are small ones that others might not even care about:I'm hoping that one day you'll be able to customise your rider a bit more or have kinect/xbox live vision photo mode for your face to be scanned into the game.I almost feel like they shouldn't even have bothered with create-a-rider as it's so vague in comparison to other games on the market.Facial hair and hair colour are not available to edit, you just get preset faces which all alienate the personalisation of the whole thing.I'm not asking to have Saints Row The Third style madness or anything extreme... Just a little more flexibility in future releases. After playing so many games, seeing what they have to offer you end up finding yourself with a benchmark in place that you'd hope others in the same industry would take note of and use to their advantage.I guess what I'm trying to say is and the point I'm trying to make is if you're going to add a feature, add it "completely".

This is a good game but takes a bit of time to master.(I haven't yet).Graphics are decent enough but not much different to SBK 08.I have an xbox wireless controller and it works great with the game. The down side for me is that It,s not working great on win7.I have win7 home premium --CPU is a q9550 --4gb ram and an Asus(Nvidia)Gt550 Ti.Something has compatibility issues with the game. That said my PC is a dual boot win7 and xp (sp3).The game runs perfect on the xp when I installed it.I have re installed with win7 but still issues--no sound from the bike and general poor audio.when I try and change graphics settings on win7 the game crashes.I am using an 19" acer wide screen monitor -My main monitor is usually a LG 32" but its on repair. It states on game that a 19" is min'for the game so that may have something to do with it.I detailed this review a bit in case someone has same system and may think that they have a fault.I hope this helps someone.Would I buy the game if I had the choice again---Yes, its good Sim fun and the hours dissolve away when your playing.

SBK 2011 shows Codemasters the way to produce an excellent racing game. OK, the presentation is rubbish and the graphics are a bit 2009, but who cares? When a game`s this much fun to play all that surface stuff becomes irrelevant. As a bike rider of over 30 years, who`s done many a track day, I can confirm that this is the nearest a game has yet come to replicating the experience. The previous contender was GP 500 and that was years ago. As usual, the best view is slightly behind the rider, and also as usual the 1st person/on-bike view is unplayable. Once you get used to the feel of the bikes it really is a great game, although I haven`t tried racing the ai yet; I don`t normally bother with races, preferring to "race" in time-attack mode, but if you want to race, there`s a full career mode, plus the usual quick race. Theoretically it`s possible to play online, but I haven`t tried it. At under £[] this game is a real bargain. Codies, look and learn...

I've ridden motorcycles for over 20 years on the road and on track. This game is awesome! I don't like the MotoGP arcadey type handling and realism at all, but loved SBK2009 the way that you could set all the difficultly parameters to suit your ability. On SBKX they did away with all the settings, and I couldn't find a balance of realism and fun that I wanted. Hence SBKX went on a certain auction site. But now with SBK2011 the fun is back! Loads of things to do, challenges, championships, quick race (that the player you create rides in - rather than pretending to be M.Biaggi you can have your own RSV4R!). There's also a career mode that takes you from new arrival to SBK through to WSB Champion (hopefully)over the next 8 seasons.Great blend of realism and enjoyment, you can slide the bike on the exit and back it in on the entry! To be highly recommended!

right so this game works good on windows 10 . the game its self is Quite hard . i do love my bike games and this one is at the top of my play listi find SBK 2011 for me better than moto gp15 and Ride . the game play is a loot more realistic as from someone Who rides motorcycles (GSXR 100CC) and can know what it Feels like opening the throttle to much coming out of a conner YES the ass end will slide out and highside you of the bike so in the game you will not be able to just gun it every where you will need to pick the cornering juts right going in and coming out .The The graphics of the game are not to bad for a 2011 game so if you wand a good bike game to play and have a Challenge this gameis for you!!

I agree with previous review about the graphics... the feel is a little more twitchy than SBK X but practice makes perfect they say... couple of things that surprise me and I feel its a big downer, are the facts there are no R6s, which are mopping up once again in this years championship... and where is Aragon.. the game only just came out so its not as if we didn't know about the Yamahas or Aragon. Can this be dealt with by an online upgrade... With Chas Davis hopefully going to win at Aragon and win the championship this needs to be addressed.. on the plus side Gino Rea is there! (Go Gino!)I would still buy it anyway and I will give it 4 stars and hold the 5th until Milestone switch on !

If you want a superbike game that has great pictures and the bike does what you expect it to do ,then this is the one to buy. Its straight forward and a lot of fun. I started playing it to test what its like for half an hour and was still playing it three hours later. Its a game that gets better as you master the brakes etc and start getting home first. The best track bike game I have seen.

Black Bean's SBK series has finally come of age as far as I'm concerned. It has an excellent range of gameplay types and difficulty settings plus a big roster of riders and bikes, making it top of the pile for current motorcycle sims.Whether you get this depends on whether you're a Superbike or MotoGP fan I guess, but if you're a fan of bikes, then it's a no-brainer either way!

another bargain,I like this version instantly.I have sbk x as well but things i like better are the handling ,seems more on the edge but very playable and the sound seems better to me than last years one.Have already won a few races on medium level and unlocked a few pictures.I bought this before seing other reveiws and ime glad I took the chance .For me a v.good game indeed.

27.1.2013

Good quality graphics and at first difficult to master, only because im getting on a bit!! But is a great game. I would recomend to anyone looking for a motorcycle racing game. My last experience was of MOTO GP 2002 on the computer and this obviously is a lot lot better.

recommended by a friend who has this game, though yet to play it online. It has a large amount of different racing options to choose from, whether it be quick race, season or legend season or career. Great
