I bought this card in September of 2012. i wouldn't normally make a review about a product but i felt i had to because this is such a great card.Performance:I have hit this card with about 15 games so far including battlefield, COD, dirt 3, portal 2, borderlands 2 and recently farcry 3. so far every game that i have played on with this card has been running at at least 40FPS on ultra settings, with most games running at 60-120FPS!. this is at 1920 x 1080 by the way. basically i have not yet found a game which it cannot handle - no word of a lie.Temperature and fan noise:Being a heavy gamer, kinda, i will often game for in excess of 4 hours in one session about 4 times a week.

I bought this to replace my ageing 6870. At first I was a little worried since my first 6870 was a saphire one which I had problems with from the very first day I installed so had to replace it with a MSI.So far I have had no problems with it, the temperatures are great and blow my old card away whilst it is a lot less noisy and goes well with my rig.Every game I have thrown at it, I can play it on ultra 1920:1080p (So far tried Bops 2, Skyrim, WoW, Assassins Creed 3 and Hitman Absolution) with no problems at all always staying above 30fps.It comes over clocked already but I pushed it a bit more to 1125MHz GPU and 1300MHz Memory. I recommend those settings if you are using this with a 500w PSU to avoid any problems.

I've had this card for almost two months now. I'm primarily using it under Linux with the latest AMD Catalyst driver. I'm using the included mini-to-fullsize display port adapter, and it is driving my Dell U2711 display at full 2560x1440 resolution with no hiccups. In fact, I have experienced no problems so far. The OpenGL speed is fantastic. I also do NOT experience any of the problems the other reviewer mentioned about fan noize, no signal etc. This card is quite in my box, and it just works great! The benefit of the two fans setup is that they can spin slower (thus less noize) than a card with a single fan.

It is a very powerful graphics card that makes every game play at the highest specifications without the slightest lag.The only downside is that it has caused my computer to crash 5-6 times whilst playing tf2 - no other game it has crashed with. I think this is just my graphics card not agreeing with tf2 which requires very little graphics power. It isn't a power issue because I have an 600W OCZ PSU so it is definitely the graphics card causing a couple of problems.But i would still highly recommend the graphics card

This is an incredible step up from my old HD 4850, and it's much quieter too.The two fans mean it runs cooler than other 7870s and as a result the fans don't need to spin as fast to get the same level of cooling, and as such it's pretty quiet too, can't be heard over the PSU fan at idle.

This is by far one of the best decisions I've made i can play every game at the highest quality i use it on windows 7 with the latest catalyst control center. Happy i made this choice in parts

I had no difficulty setting this up and it's far quieter than my previous Radeon 4870x2 card.Graphics are nice and sharp for my games so I'm happy.
