Firstly, its expensive, so it was difficult to justify when so may more are a half or third of the price. Secondly, even though I am a tech nerd through and through and installed some of the first IT systems back in the 80 and 90's, I still have to wonder why on earth you'd need an app to turn on and run a machine when you have to stand next to it to load etc, technology for technologies sake is a bit sad.So why the heck did I buy it?... Well my previous machine who name I won't be allowed to say, frankly pulled the all time WORST lifespan of only 20 months when the door literally fell apart and try as I might I couldn't get the part, even though the rest of the machine was fine.

I was sent this washing machine for testing by Samsung. But my review is honest as at no time have I been asked to review it in any other way.StyleFirst thing is the style of the washing machine. I am delighted with how it look, it has to fit into my kitchen and be on display all the time and as such needs to look good. It certainly does that. I have the dark coloured version and with its cool blue indicator lights and display it looks the part of a very modern washing machine. The addwash door on the front of the door not only is useful to add forgotten items to the wash but actually makes it stand out from all the other washing machines.FunctionalityFor me a washing machine needs to be easy to use and from the moment you turn it on it achieves that.

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes.It's our first ever electrical item that we've ever owned that is controllable via Wi-Fi with an app.And it's the most impressive bit of kit that we've ever had before. There are so many features to the washing machine that it's hard to find one that stands out on its own.One of our family works in the hospital and the Bubble soak is excellent for getting rid of all the germs and dirt. During the day in fact I took one of the wifes expensive shirts not that she knows that unless she reads this review! And I put tea coffee gravy and ketchup on the front of the shirt rubbed it in very well and on a standard wash with bubble soak it all came clean out thankfully.

Been using the washing machine for a couple of weeks but still learning how to get the most from the machine but so far so good! I like the flexibility of temperature, spin speed etc and have already used the ‘addwash’ door. I’m finding that it’s very efficient at removing moisture from garments including towels and so now reduce the spin speed often highlighted in certain programmes. This also reduces the creased appearance of garments when they’re removed from the sides of the drum. Overall I’m finding it relatively quiet when it is spinning but a little noisy when filling or draining with water.

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes,The washing machine has a very premium look thats makes it stand out with its unique design, it has some very good features including, Addwash which allows you to add things you have forgotten at the start of a wash or add things you just want to rinse/spin to the end of your wash, i found this particularly good for the stray socks i tend to find after putting a wash on! The Quick Drive features are also a great addition giving the option for shorter more convenient wash cycles that still provide great results and save you time when you need it. The 9kg capacity means you can do alot fewer loads per week as it fits plenty.

I brought this a month ago and was so excited after reading the reviews. I have to say I am so impressed with everything about it. It looks incredible, washes the clothes perfectly, is so quiet when spinning and the little tune it plays at the end of the wash, well this just tops it! The biggest thing for me is that the clothes do not come out soaking wet when finished. I found with my prior machine...although it was 14 years old...the clothes would always come out ringing wet. When then having to put them on the radiators, I would always have a pool of water on the floor which meant I could never put them in a room where there was carpet. With this machine this is not the case. Not only that,

Just Fabulous !! Have had this washing machine delivered just a week ago - previous one was just 5 years old and a different make and I thought that that machine was good, lovely visually - until is broke ! This one is just so fabulous !! Did a lot of researching to find the exact washing machine I wanted and had seen this design a while ago. The colour, visual appearance, controls, music and "bubble effect" on the drum is just wonderful as well as the "AddWash" feature but have not had the need, so far, to use this. It is very quiet when washing and have had to check that it is working ! When spinning, very quiet as well. Have not used all of the features yet. Love the blue coloured door also.

‘I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes.’I have been using my washing machine now for a week, and first thing i love is the Centre dial so easy to use with the way you can also change the spin settings the kick off to do your washing is just simple.The handy pull down on the door was well thought out as so many time i have forgotten to put things in the wash once the machine has started.Well no more just press the pull done the machine pauses you add in those forgotten bits then just start the washing machine again.Then you have the Smart features you can use use smartphone or tablet via the app,

Finally decided to take the plunge and upgrade the washing machine; which was on it's way out and decided after much working out that over the past five years I've probably spent the same amount across cheaper machines that have ended up going wrong... So did my research and opted for this model. Love how quiet it is with the QDrive, the ability to edit the majority of the programmes i.e. extra rinses, spin speed. Also items of clothing that used to come out feeling rough, now feel heavenly soft to touch regardless of whether I use softener or not. My absolute favourite feature is having connected to my phone, I get a notification when the cycle is complete and not have to worry about keeping an eye on the machine for when it's done....

I didn’t realise that Samsung made anything other that TVs but was attracted to this machine by its 5 year warranty, drum size and the ability to add that sock I find my son has stuck down the back of the sofa just after I’ve turned the washer on and sat down with a cuppa.I only ever used 2 programs with my old machine, overwhelmed by choice. However with the app it’s easy, I tell it what I’ve put in and it works it out for me! The drum size is perfect for a busy, growing family, as is the speed of the wash. My average wash used to take 3 hours now it’s just 1 hour 10 mins. I also love that the washing machine tells you when it’s finished through both the app I’ve downloaded onto my phone and the annoying music it plays which are both great prompts,

Only had the machine a week but so far love it. Love the add wash feature , very handy for that stray sock. Love the 15 min quick wash for when you just need to freshen something up that doesn't need a full cycle. Love the bubble drive for the more stubborn stains. It's a lot quieter than my previous machine so the smart feature and app is great if you are in the garden to tell you the load has finished. I also like that the minutes left is actually accurate unlike my old Hotpoint that never gave an accurate countdown. The only negative is the long song it plays at the end of the cycle but I soon found how go switch that off.However you can't turn all the notifications off unfortunately but they are as irritating as the long time at the end which you can stop.

This machine is hands down the best one we have ever had. Not only does it look really stylish but the washing and spinning performance is fantastic. I though the select your own spin speed, water temp and amount of rinses was going to be a bit gimmicky but I was very wrong, indeed it is one of the many reasons why this machine is the top of my list. I should also mention that we brought this 1400 machine despite initially looking to buy one with a 1600 spin (such as the one we were replacing), but this machine spins like nothing I've used before. There are two optional spin speeds 1200 and 1400 and I can honestly say that even on the 1200 spin the clothes come out nearly dry.

I’ve had this machine almost a month now and I can tell the difference from my old Hotpoint machine. My clothes feel softer and smell fresher when they first come out the machine. I’ve found the machine much quieter whilst functioning. The app is handy if someone else is loading it and don’t know how to use it. The 9kg capacity means I can fit more bedding in at once. So I’m hoping this will save me on energy bills too. It looks good too - only downside is I didn’t realise it would protrude forwards more than my old machine but I’m guessing that’s down to the add wash on the door, and the pipes at the back which my partner will look at when he gets chance!

don't generally think there's that much difference between machines and all seems like spin (sorry). In this instance i'm really impressed. The additional drum volume has meant we're doing at least a third less washes but seems more like half and we had an 8kg drum on our previous machine. The Eco Bubble managed to clean some frankly disgusting seat covers which my kids have been dropping food on for years - we thought we'd give it a go before going to buy some new ones and were genuinely surprised when we couldn't see any trace of the former stains. Really impressed - just need to work out how to turn off the annoying music when it finishes!

This new machine is so much quieter than my previous one and cleans brilliantly. The large drum size means I spend less time washing and the extra features like AddWash, bubbles and the bit at the back that turns the washing are great. I thought that the app control was a bit of a gimmick, but the laundry recipe feature is really handy and I like getting the notification when a load has finished. My only criticism would be that if you schedule a load to finish at a certain time via the app, it will sometimes finish much later as the machine doesn't do its calculations based on the weight of the load until after it starts.
