I bought this about a year ago now. It’s very easy to use with various helpful settings. I only really have 2 issues with this machine. Firstly, if you wish to use the child lock feature you have to press and hold 2 buttons at the same time, which will almost always change the spin or temperature settings instead of engage child lock. This makes me really angry (short temper) but it’s just so fiddly and stupid, they might aswell have not bothered to be honest. I also bought this machine under the impression it wasn’t very loud. On the contrary it is ridiculously loud. I don’t use the highest spin setting anymore as the volume is just crazy, which is a shame.

Been using my new machine for 3 weeks with no issues. It’s got a great big drum, went for 8kg to replace an old Beko 7kg. There are lots of settings but I haven’t got round to using them all yet. I like the rapid 14,30 or 44min cycle. I like that you can change the temp on these cycles too. It spins great clothes come out almost dry. I don’t think it’s as quiet as others say it is, it does have a high pitched whizz before the spin. Drawer on front doesn’t come out too far which is a bit annoying

It's a great machine,works well,good capacity.We have found that the Eco wash needs to have an extra spin to get the clothes as dry as the other longer washes.At the time of writing we have been unable to master syncing the app to the machine. Our phones are set up,the app is on but they just wont talk to the machine. Could be us, could be the machine. We can use our phones for contactless payments so I assume the correct function (NFC?) works fine. Not a major issue,sure there's a helpline!

Installation: easy and straightforward. Clear instructions. Programmes easy to choose with wide variety of options. Useful info/tips in the book provided. Useful that you can change the temperature and spin speed to suit your load. Android app works well with Samsung galaxy giving good information, disappointed that iPhone app only provides access to user manual. Surprised that only synthetic programmes weigh the load for optimum water efficiency. Overall very impressed with this machine.

I found this washing machine nice and quiet even when on the highest spin! I love that it changes the time depending on the amount in the washing machine! 8kg drum which is great, plenty of room and never feels like it's over full! The only thing I would say you have the option to change the spin speed on each wash but you can't go any higher then what it's programmed for so there's only a couple of programmes you can have to spin at 1600 Also great that you can programme with your phone!

First Hoover washer purchased. Trouble I did have was before fitting (me) had to tip washer over onto side, fit a plastic/card plate onto the bottom of washer, Not so easy on own. Wanted a 1600rpm as single don't need a large drum wash, having to wait for wash to mount up to fill it. Quick was is fab, 14 mins or 30 mins. Cycles use 1200rpm spin, 1600rpm extra spin. Hand wash used for bra's, put plenty in, or add a bath sheet otherwise it doesn't go. Quite noisy on spin & on wash cycles.

-ivesThe smart touch system does not work, the app uploads fine but you cannot access the one touch feature. I have tried with my Iphone, Samsung tablet, kindle & even tried it with my son's samsung phone none of which it works from. Very disappointing. Sometimes the middle compartment which the fabric conditioner goes in doesn't drain & you are left with it full of water. Also the part when the washing detergent goes pulls compleatly out quite often.+vies quie, great quick wash

This machine is great it holds 8kg and is very quiet. The spin leaves the clothes just damp so it didn't take long to dry andthats on a 1200 spin it has a1600 spin max.The controls are easy to use and there are so many programs to use.The quick wash does a 14/30/40mins cycle. They are great for freshening things up and it cleans very well. This is my first Hoover machine and to date this is my favourite. I highly recommend this machine. The price is great too.

My old washer stopped draining so decided to buy a new one . Like this for the 8 k drum , it’s quiet too. Like the fact you can reduce the time in some of the loads, would rather choose my own spin but it only lets you have what it considers nessessary. But that’s no great hardship as you just choose the spin and drain cycle after. It has the one touch control you can use your phone with. Lost on me personally but my gadget geek partner thinks it’s great. I’m pleased with it

Bought to replace my previous Hoover washer that stopped spinning after 8 years. (My previous Zanussi lasted for nearly 30 years). I like the programs on this but generally use the 59 minute daily wash then put it on to a 1600 spin. Washes and rinses well and easy to use. Delivery from Argos was quick and on time. Bit awkward to fit the plastic board on the bottom as others have said and don't know why it's not pre-fitted. Overall a good machine at a very reasonable price.

I previously had a washer dryer Hotpoint and had bought another which was very disappointing and started having noise issues after 20 plus days this was sent back. After checking out various sites Argos had good delivery times suitable for my purpose, I really like the short wash features and also the ability to choose temperartures and spin speeds. A great machine so far have used for the last 2 weeks nothing negative at present.

Our current washing machine suddenly failed and we were not sure if we could have it replaced due to the lockdown in place. I went onto the Argos online facility and was able to purchase a new machine within minutes. We received a text to say when it would be delivered and it arrived within the time slot. The two gentlemen who delivered it were able to leave it in a position where I could then install it. All round great service.

Argos are good at delivering their items, with the emails, texts and the phone call you receive an hour before it arrives, great service. After unpacking, taking the security bolts etc it is an easy item to install. Once installed read your booklet to get used the settings and your ready to go. Simple enough to understand, not as quite as some reviews make out. I would recommend this product for the price is reasonable good buy.

What can I say Hoover have came up with the goods again we can't fault it read some reviews that give negative reviews about spin speed on the 1600 spin only been on one wash that's not true you can adjust spin speed and temp giving several options for a full 1600 spin there is no vibration washer stays in place and is one of the quietest washers we have owned we are over the moon with this washer would recommend it 100%

Needed to replace a 25+ year old washer and older for this machine. Used it enough to find it's easy to operate and has a HUGE capacity. One surprise was the change from simple numeric programmes (1 to 15) to a descriptive system. The card labelling approach developed in the 60/70s was so well promoted and understood I was surprised to see it seems to be defunct. On the whole delighted with this new Hoover
