Initial impressions are very good. An easy to set up and use machine. Nice modern functional design. Easy to understand settings with simple analogue controls. Wash performance is very good and so far it operates nice and quietly too!Some programs are of very long duration (3 hours +) but there are other much shorter programs available like the "20 minute refresh" option.Got ours for £180 (with the online discount code) including basic delivery - which I think represents fantastic value for money.If you register your purchase with Indesit you'll also gain a 10 year parts guarantee.

Ordered another Indesit as they have always served us well. Might not have all the whistle and bells of other brands/models but the basic model does what it says on the tin. Argos offered at a very good price with 6 months to pay. Ours is on nearly every day and at least once a day so is subject to a heavy use. Very happy with the disposal and installation service too although we have a small leak so need to retighten the init hose. Great product from Indesit and a great price from Argos!!

I bought this washer after my hoover washer decided to have problems after 10years of having it and I have no faults about it what so ever , I read the reviews before I purchased it and was debating should I or shouldn't I as people mentioned cycles take to long that it's noisy and so on so I took the risk and got one I DONT find cycles take to long and even if it did least your clothes will be clean once finished plus I find it really QUIET to be fair , don't be put off by some of the reviews

Bought this machine for an elderly uncle, it had to be easy to use as not good with technology. This machine is fabulous for all those techno phobes. Just set the dials press a button and go. So simple to use, looks nice, and is very quiet, and great for the price. also had uplift and installation, which is fabulous the guys couldn't have been any nicer and all done with no fuss or mess. First time buying from Argos for washing machine would definitely do it again with this type of service.

My old basic Indesit washing machine eventually broke down for the first time after 12 years. I thought it was best to buy a new updated model rather then phone for an engineer to repair it.I trust this product, so I decided to buy the same make & model, hoping it will give me the same performance & longevity as its predecessor.When the new model arrived I was really pleased with the new features, especially the quieter spin cycle & the larger letters & numerals on the control panel.

A compact, easy to use, machine. I like the controls and the ( fractionally) smaller size. Pretty quiet, and seems to do a lot of washing with cold water, as I think is the economy/environmental trend. Ordinary wash can take 90 - 130 minutes, but this machine will do a quick wash in 20 minutes, then a spin for 10 minutes at 1200 revs. to almost dry the clothes. No whoops and whistles. This machine looks smart and washes cloths. It has several set programs controlled by selecting various knobs to set up the type of wash. It is cold feed only, so the wash times are longer than I am used to, but there is a 20 minute Refresh wash, which I use to wash socks and smalls(3kg max I think). It suits my needs fine and without all those digital programs onboard, there is less chance of this senior citizen being beamed into Outer Space.

This machine was to renew my previous Indesit which "died" I am very pleased with it's performance, washes well and the spin is good too. I would have given it 5 stars but this machine unlike my previous 1 does not have a quick wash. I find most of the cycles are far too long and unnecessary but other machines are similar, surely laundry isn't grubby enough to warrant 3 hours of wasted electricity. Other than that I would recommend this machine

I was skeptical about buying this but I was short on cash and needed a washer to tide me over after mine broke suddenly.I ordered this, it arrived within 2 days and I couldn't be happier. After reading reviews I was worried about clothes coming out soaking wet, however I only ever use programme 8 for a fast wash (20mins) or programme 2 for really dirty clothes and then use the spin feature straight after and my clothes always come out perfect

I have only had this machine for a couple of weeks and so far I am very pleased with it. My previous washing machine was an indisit moon which I liked but this has many more cycles and extra settings such as extra rinse for sensitive skin and delay timer. I find the 20 minute wash very handy. Very good value for money plus the option to have the delivery men connect it up and take the old one away.

Took a few days to work out the different washes so take time to read the instructions there is a whole page dedicated to the settings and time it will take for washes.Make sure you check the time it takes for different cycles on instructions because it can can catch you out if your just after a quick wash and spin.Apart from that good machine and generally quiet in sound happy with purchase.

I’ve Had this washing machine now for 9 months and I literally have not one complaint about it, it’s such a good washing machine, wish having a family I constantly use it’s sometimes 4 times a day, I find its rather quiet Aswell which is fab just means I can get the washing done while my baby is asleep with no worry of the noise of the washer waking her up. Looks lovely Aswell really good

This is a very good machine. More programmes than I need, but plenty of people will love all the extra programmes such as sportswear and trainers etc. I get excellent results on all the washes that I use, the machine is much quieter than my old one and overall does a very good job. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good appliance at an affordable price. Why pay more?

The Indesit IWC71252 is a good purchase for anyone who wants a simple to use reasonably priced washing machine. The load capacity may not suit larger families as it is limited to 7kg maximum and some of the washing cycles take a long time to complete. However, it is very versatile with many money saving Eco features and in my opinion ideally suited to couples and small families.

Needed a new machine as mine broke & was on a budget. I would usually go for a more pricey model. Does as it’s intended though, my towels come out lovely & soft. It’s a bit louder than my old one & as others have said there’s no quick wash (only a smaller load freshen up wash, not a full load) but I can’t fault it at all for the price paid. Would recommend.
