This is a very quiet machine and so simple to use that even a baboon like me, who would never go near a washing machine, doesn't mind using it. Wife nearly had a heart attack when she came home to find it full of clothes.It has a number of useful presets that take the guesswork out of laundry, although they can be overridden. When you do decide to override a preset, for example by changing the spin speed, it will recalculate the length of time needed to do the wash.But a word of warning. I have noticed that some people have complained of it (and other machines) being noisy and travelling across the room. Chances are, you screwed up ... like I did. First time it was turned on,it sounded like a helicopter and we could hear it upstairs. I went into the kitchen to find it had moved several inches into the kitchen. Perplexed, I turned it on again to see what had happened. Sure enough, when it went into fast spin it started wobbling like an irate and indignant R2D2.Then wife, who used to work at Panasonic, said: "You did remove the bolts, didn't you?" ... uh ... what bolts? If this happens to you, check that you remove the restraining bolts (yes, back to the Star Wars reference again) from the back of the machine before you turn it on. Oh - and there's some extra polystyrene packaging hidden at the base. That's what was making the helicopter sounds. Thankfully, no lasting damage was caused.So if your washing machine thinks its R2D2, make sure you've unpacked it properly.

Ok - so it’s early days we are a week into having the new machine but so far so good .I’m liking that it has an 8 kg load , meaning that bedding goes in one wash whereas my previous 6 kg machine would onky take part of the wash load . The quick wash .. 14 minutes is a godsend . There are only two of us in this house and we are retired so apart from the bedding and towels we don’t have lots of washing , the quick wash for our everyday items is great . I like the convenience of choosing a spin speed and temperature . My old machine just had set programmes . The timer is great too .. Counts down to the end of the cycle . I don’t like leaving electrical items running if I’m going out of the house and I can plan around this if need be .It’s not a huge machine , it’s installed in an external laundry room , and it’s not a loud machine - I’d read reviews of it being noisy .On registering the one year guarantee I felt the hard sell for the extra cover a bit full on , being told that you are not covered for x, y, z when you’ve just unpacked the machine could have been a bit worrying . I bought the machine from littlewoods so it wasn’t the cheapest I could have bought it for but it had a bit of a reduction in price and weighing everything up - the competitors had delivery charges and wait times - I’m happy that I’ve got a good machine for a good price delivered in a short time with the benefit of paying it off over a period of time .

Nice looking washing machine, energy efficient. I put the kids school jumpers on the 14 min wash to freshen up & it washed away red paint & food spillage. I’m not sure why people are complaining of long cycles as the fast + option cuts the cycle down quite a lot and clothes still come out clean, smelling fresh and soft. Although I do agree with some others that the spin is a bit rubbish and sometimes you have to put on an extra spin, which only takes 12 minutes, but still, you shouldn’t have to do this. It’s a lot quieter than the machine I replaced it with and can actually speak in the kitchen now whilst it’s operating. The soap dispenser draw does feel a little cheap when you open it.Display to show how long is left on the wash & buttons to override spin/temperature. This machine does it’s job, just the little downfall of the spin. But doesn’t cost the earth so I would recommend, especially if you can get a good offer

We had a Beko 5kg model, it was in the house when we moved here over 3 years ago. As it was here when we moved in nobody knows how old it actually was, but would guess 8 - 10 years. The old one had a mental breakdown and refused to empty, after quite a few attempts it started working again, perfectly, but too late, we had ordered it's replacement which takes a bigger load. We have had good service from Beko products, we own a Beko larder fridge too. The new model is excellent with a genuine good wash. I cannot fault it. Beware if you buy from AO as they phone the hell out of you trying to sell Appliance Insurance, or extended warranty, we will not answer their calls.

Amazed at the speed - we ordered on Thursday, were told delivery would be on Saturday between 11 and 3, the driver rang at 11 and said he would be here in half an hour and was spot on. The driver agreed to leave the old machine on the drive and an hour later a truck stopped and asked if he could take it away, to which we agreed with alacrity. I had a bit of a struggle removing the transportation bolts, but a quick look at Utube showed me how to do it and the washer was in use on Sunday. My wife was delighted with the performance and this morning she did a big wash successfully also.A very smooth process and a delightful machine.

Bought this machine recently. Well pleased. Excellent price. Washing comes up really clean. 28 minute wash with a full 8Kg load plus a 1400 spin. Brilliant. No waiting about. There is also an adjustable rinse and spin which I use for towels etc. Was a bit concerned regarding noise level after other reviews, but was pleasantly surprised how quiet it is. I have paid over double in price in the past for other named washing machines. But have found this BEKO to be of a very high standard. Nice looking machine. Took out extra extended warranty at a very reasonable price. So peace of mind for the next few years. Bargain. Well done Very.

I just had the machine installed yesterday, and I must say, the slimline look fits perfectly under my worktop, and looks lovely with all my other black appliances I have. I used it today, for 2 wash loads, on a short spin, 28mins, it was quite, quick, a little noisy when programme ready to spin, but fantastic, even more so I got this machine on a sale price. I put it on 1400 spin speed but gave it another,spin all in all,12minutes per spin. The delivery drivers brought it in and connected my machine, they were very pleasant and helpful. Great service, free very fast delivery (ordered Wednesday afternoon, delivered Friday morning)Machine is great and is functioning well now, but beware, there is a large piece of polystyrene tucked out of sight inside the internals of the washer close to the drum, it's only accessible from underneath the machine ......... it's easy to miss and causes excessive noise .... the manufactures poor instructions are the problem .... but apart from this small hitch, I'm delighted with the service and the product.

The main reason for my high rating is because of the flexibility of the programmes.You can change the temperature and spin speed to suit your needs; and it is so useful to see how long the programme will take.One note: When using the Fast+ function you need to reduce the load by half. This is written in the manual, but not that easy to find, in my opinion.I haven't cleaned the filter yet, but I think this is going to be trickier than my previous machine (as it was in the drum before).

I BOUGHT THIS MACHINCE NEARLY 2 MONTHS AGO NOW FOR MY SON AS HE HAS HIS 2 KIDDIES A LOT .. BOY RUGBY KITS ....GIRL HORSE RIDING... Brought this a few weeks ago after my old machine sounded like it was about to take off into space. The new machine is PERFECT!!!! It is super quiet- I kept checking if it was still running!!! Even at its loudest it’s no louder the a whisper!!! Does a full load in 28 mins thanks to the fast wash option and drains the water enough for this to dry quicker too!!!Loads of programs to suit every washing need- what more could you want?? Highly recommend!!!

I'm very happy with my purchase. This washing machine has so many settings to suit a family. It's so easy to use and understand too. It looks smart and expensive in my kitchen. The clothes come out so clean and almost dry thanks to the 1400 spin. I'm very impressed. Fast delivery with updates throughout and a time frame sent in advance for you to work around and organise . Delivery men very helpful and polite. I'm very satisfied with the entire process and product.

wasn't sure what to receive as it wasn't top of the range ultra expensive machine but wow its fabulous huge drum so many choices is settings, spin speeds wash times and my goodness is it quiet and the spin is more of a light whine in the background , you dont really take any notice of it at all and with the bigger drum it has cut down on the amount of washes i do a week so saves me water and electricity too a fantastic bargain i would highly recommend this machine

Some initial problems with set up - my issue needing to adjust the feet properly - but the AO and BEKO staff were great helping me sort this out over the phone.The machine itself is very quiet and has some perfect programming options. Especial like the short wash 28 minute cycle for a full load - and there a shorter one still for 2kg.Wash quality is excellent. The spin is very thorough and effective. Great vfm. Strongly recommend this machine.

This replaced a previous Beko model which broke. I am very pleased with it. They don't always tell you how long a cycle takes, this one for a normal 40 wash is 3 hours - but there is a "fast" button which takes 1hr 12mns, this is the one I use and it cleans the clothes and bedding well. a 60 degree wash, using the fast button takes 2 hours. The water does tend to collect around the seal but easily soaked up with a sponge. Overall, a good machine.
