I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes. I would like to start by saying how refreshing it is to have a good looking 9kg washing machine-you really wouldn not notice it is large unless you opened the door! It is the perfect side for a family household yet it does not look obtrusive at all. The washer is a good looking machine and fits perfectly where my previous one was built into my kitchen units. The machine welcomes me with a friendly tone to acknowledge it has been turned on and the display appears immediately so you can programme your wash. The large LED striking display includes the time it takes to compete the wash, the rinses, spin speed and temperature.There are numerous features and setting which make it suitable for the whole family and perfect for all types of loads/materials. The enclosed instruction manual explains all of these and their benefits in detail if help is required. The ecobubble feature is easy to enable by simply pressing a button, this adds time to the wash but i liked the results when I used it so I will be sure to use it every time! I love the fact it is so energy efficient and quiet. You would barely notice the washing machine was on if you did not know. I think it is also fab that the drawer cleans itself as that was a tedious task with my old washing machine! Another bonus is that if you ever forget to put something in the load like I often do, you can pause the wash and pop it in! There is a child lock feature to prevent children using it/interfering with the loads! The wash completion notifies me by a lovely tune! The clothes come out clean and fresh, I have also noticed they are a lot drier than my previous machine left them as well so it decreases the drying time for me which is great as is the easy iron setting which I can not wait to try next! I have not as yet had to use the smart check feature but it is obviously reassuring that I have that if it is ever required. The only criticism I have with the machine machine is that the instruction manual is flimsy and it seems it is printed on really thin paper which I was surprised about considering the premium feel the washing machine has. This is definitely the best washing machine I have ever owned or even used! I am really looking forward to using it more and to to try out ALL of the different settings and features especially the last memory feature!

I am prompted to write this as last week when I was searching for a new washing machine I realized how I valued reviews as a means to compare and contrast all the many options out there. I chose the Samsung machine for various reasons. It was on offer so was within my budget and it comes with a 5 year warranty which gave me confidence to buy a make that for me is an unknown in relation to washing machines. So to the important bit.... well I wanted a machine that would be as green as possible both in terms of energy and water use and I was impressed with the Eco bubble system. I also wanted to have the option of a quick wash for those last minute washes or very small loads.I also wanted a machine that would be quiet - in comparison to my last machine it definitely is a lot quieter, but of course there is always some noise..it would be odd if there was not! So far I have used 4 of the programs and all have been great. The Eco Cotton wash is a long wash so I did it over night using the delay timer button. A very grubby sofa cover ( we have 3 cats and a dog ) came out very clean at a low temperature wash. I have used the cotton program that says it will take 3.18 hours but the great thing about this machine is that it weighs the load before starting and I just washed a King size duvet cover, sheet and 4 pillow cases and it adjusted the wash to 1.15 hours and it did the same with a very full wash of towels, to take the full 3 hours you must really have to jam it full with washing!The Super Eco wash which uses the Eco bubble system worked fine with a normal load and the 15 minute quick wash was also great. You can adjust the temperature, the amount of rinses and the spin speed and the time of the wash will be altered if what you select is different that the standard wash. It is great to have this flexibility. I was concerned that it did not have a separate spin but you can select a spin without the rinse by turning the rinse off. Over all the machine seems quite intuitive to use. I encountered a lot of surprise that I chose a Samsung over one of the more traditional washing machine manufactures but I thought I would give it a go and as I said in the title of this review, so far so good! I am thus far very happy with my choice. Oh and all those reviews that mention the tune at the end of the wash...well yes it is there and if you do not like it you can turn it off.

I am a man of over 50, last few years we used the washing machine of a good brand. Recently within about half a year I repaired it 3 times (not expensive, doing myself). First day after our holiday "it" happened again - the washing machine broke down. We decided: the new wasching machine is needed, and it is needed asap. Checking the Internet; "our" brand (similar price) has a guarantee 2 years only, but the shortest time of washing, (200minutes) Samsung - 5 years, and 320 minutes; with rumor about the planned obsolescence, and calculating price of repairing we wanted 5 years warranty in price. So we decided - Samsung. Delivery was next day. 7 or 8 different cycles of washing done by my wife,some turning of selector done by myself. Buy it ! PRO - quiet, engine and throwing the washing inside during spinning, I would say it is more gently with what is inside than previous one- It has better legs and is more heavy and in result is more stabile during spinning- time of washing - do not be affraid ! It is the firs time I use the washing machine in which the mechanical programmer is not just changed by electronic, but electronic is used in full. It is you who decide ! You can use preprogrammed cycles, or you can change it in your way, so after chosing "this" washing cycle you can add or remove amount of rinse. - washing - my wife was happy even with short cycle- spinning, I wrote already that it is more gently, the washing is also more drier that in previous, and, surprisingly, my wife said that even with 1200 some material is less creased than with 800 at previous washing machine.AGAINSTto be honest, none, what I will write is rather some tips for youas it is more heavy and has rubber legs it is difficult to put under the kitchen top - use slippy material (welcome matt from you door is ok, just turn it over) and put two separate one for both left, one for both right legs. To tilt it a little bit to take material away is much better than to push over the floor for one yard.Before putting it onto its place put it close to this place and run one spinning cycle - you will see that you need to set legs (rear ones especially) a little bit and it would safe you the job to remove it from under the top. sorry I edited it in paragraphes, but it happened that they show it as one.

This machine has replaced my 11 year old Zanussi which was still going well and had lots of useful settings, so this is what I will be comparing the Samsung to.Before I bought Samsung, I've heard opinion that the door has a plastic hinge and thus LGs with metal hinges are better. This Samsung machine has metal hinge, so no problem there.I've heard it doesn't just do the spinning. It does. Choose Rinse + Spin programme and turn off the rinse and it spins at the desired speed.I've heard that there is no way to just drain the water from the drum - true, there is no separate programme to do it, but choose Rinse + Spin and turn off rinse and spin and it drains!I've heard that washing takes over 5 hours.I use cotton programme. Put the same amount of washing as I did in my 6kg Zanussi (as I cannot put more clothes on my clothes dryer) and everything is washed within 1.5 - 2 hours. Bonus is, that with Zanussi I had to manually choose "half load" button on small loads, but Samsung calculates the time based on weight and does it for me!I like my new washing machine with extra bubble program and clothes coming out clean. However, there are two things that I do not like. When it is washing, the turning of the drum is extremely quiet compared to my Zanussi. However there is this other constant noise that is constantly there, like a pump or something else. This is noisy. With the Zanussi on I could watch tv in the kitchen and only from time to time it would be disturbing me. Samsung is noisy and disturbing all the time. No more tv in the kitchen when washing machine's on.Also, when washing has already started with my Zanussi machine and I decided to change programme mid way through the wash, the Zanussi would let me, no problem. Samsung will RESTART the whole programme. Meaning it will drain all the water from the drum first and then carry on with the new program. What?? WHY?? Just carry on with the water you had you silly Samsung. This is the only thing that is slightly frustrating. Otherwise I think it was a good choice and I am happy with it.Read full review...

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes.We have had the washing machine for nearly a week now. I will be totally honest, we didn't read the manual. The installers fitted the machine and set it running. That being said, it was pretty easy to pick up. When you have used a few different washing machines, I guess you get a feel for them, and this machine didn't disappoint from a usability angle.Initially on a cotton wash the drum wasn't draining fully, but that appears to have settled out now and is working fine. If you happen to be locating this washing machine in your neighbour’s house, 2 doors down and need to be notified when the cycle is complete,you’re in luck. It plays not just a beep, but an extended tune. Suffice to say, I saw the symbol showing 2 buttons and a speaker and managed to turn it off.I guess these are things you get used to with a new machine. I love the door. That may sound weird, but it is amazing, you don't have to kick or nudge it after you close it each time. It just closes as it is meant to, quite simply with a little click. And its size.... Now quite often if you buy a 9kg washing machine, it has a huge drum, but sadly you have to load it through what feels like a small ships portal. But this door is perfect. You can actually put large items in easily.After a week. This is our impression of the machine. So far so good. No bad points to mention. Finding more and more good points.

Took me about 20 seconds to work out how to do the first wash and then its so intuitive, yet easy to make programme variations that suit you. On my previous machines choices were fixed and inflexible so i only ever used one programme. with this Samsung its simple and quick to select a programme and then adjust it if you want to. For instance I like to add an extra rinse cycle to make double sure all the soap is out. The samsung screen clearly shows you what to do and adds the extra rinse to the cycle. No more actions to takeI like the clock countdown so I can see how many more minutes to go. Very quiet in use, the loudest noise is the water trickling in.My previous German machine sounded like an old diesel truck by comparison.I thought the jingle it plays to tell you its finished would be irritating, its easy enough to switch sound off, but I found I quite like it. the Charcoal colour is sleek and attractive and the front of the machine just looks good.I have always bought German machines in the past and wasnt sure about changing, but I am so glad I went with Samsung.they will be my first choice when it comes to the other kitchen stuff replacements.

Spent ages researching before I decided on this washing machine. It looks good, it sounds good, meaning, it is very quiet when washing, it is really only on the final spin that it is a wee bit noisy, but it is a washing machine and that is to be expected. So many different cycles, though not many that take a 9kg load but the daily wash is the one that suits me best most often, takes round about an hour to do a 4kg wash and the 1400 spin gets my washing drier than my old Hotpoint on a 1600 spin. My clothes, towels and bedding all come out smelling so clean, I know that sounds ridiculous, but they are definitely getting a better wash and rinse than in my previous machine.I love the wee tune it plays when the washing is ready although it can be turned off if preferred. Finally, I love the graphite colour of this machine, it looks really good in my kitchen and perhaps looks more expensive than the white model, but that is totally my opinion. The 5 year warranty sealed the deal for me and I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Washing machine seems good. Easy to use and seems to work well. Lots of choices of programmes and can choose other features easily such as spin or eco bubble. Still getting used to it and early days but so far very pleased with it. Quiet when washing but plays a lovely long tune, which can be switched off., to help alert you it is finished, quite handy if you are busy elsewhere one ding did not always remind you and then realise washing is still in the machine hours later. No complicated instructions basically easy to alter programmes and features also has rinse and spin programme which I did not have on previous machines and a 15 minute programme. Well thought out apart from the one of location of serial number.Only complaint so far is serial number at the back of the machine, so if you don't realise you need it before you get it fitted, then have to drag it out and quite heavy, to find it for guarantee, at over 70 and back problems not very customer friendly. In the past has always been on inside of the door.

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes and think it is probably the best washing machine I have ever owned. Standard Dimensions as one would expect and installation was a breeze. Single hose cold water fill and waste easily connected and transit bolts removed without having to take the top cover off which is good. Was very impressed with the concept of Drum Calibration to ensure weight detection. Operation is simple after reading the description of the various options. Dials and display are easily understood. Washing results have been far better than any previous machine with the washing drier and, with use of the Easy Iron option, considerably less creased.What is particularly noticeable is the noise! It is, by a long way, the quietist washing machine I have ever owned. Combine the performance to date with the 10 year warranty on the motor and I cannot recommend this washing machine highly enough.

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes and absolutely love it. It is very quiet, has a good selection of wash programs and a powerful spin. There is also an ecobubble function that soaks even the stubbornest stains away. Tested this on old white towels and they all came out like new. The machine has 9 kg capacity and I find it difficult to always fill it up, but it adjusts the cycle time automatically for smaller washes. I'm sure this will be soon reflected in my electricity bill. The machine is quiet, must be due to the digital inverter motor, and this is a big bonus living in a flat. I now can do my washing whilst watching TV in the same room without turning the volume up.The machine looks complicated with all the functions and smart settings but is relatively easy to use. I'm yet to try the Smart Check function, but like the idea of troubleshooting via an app rather than dig out the manual.

I love Samsung products and this is certainly no different. I'm almost certain that it has every feature that you could need from your quick daily wash to a dum clean to keep the appliance in tip top condition. The design and LCD screen is classically Samsung being sleek, clean and easy to use.The 9kg drum easily fits in a full king size bed set plus a few towels etc so there is plenty of room for a family to get through all the washing.The machine when on is super quiet, there have been many occasions where I didn't even realise it was on.I'm unsure of whether you can turn it off but at the end of the cycle it plays a little tune,which is great if like me you find yourself checking to see if the washing is finished.This is by far the best washing machine I have ever owned with it's big drum, quiet operational volume, endless cycle options and bonus points for Super Mario sounds when turning the dial and pressing start.

Purchase SAMSUNG WW90J5456 FX/EUArrived last February 2018.Washing machine features look fab match my kitchen cabinets theme, singing music, different washing setting and extra... Price not bad paid £399 on plan latest model. BUT the short cycles was okay, but putting it on for a long wash. The sound was OMG disturbing so noise loud and it moves around example. My washing Machine in the gap position but there’s room on either side. However when the washing machine is on it moves and dances around in that gap. If I have time I would video the machine performances and post online review to prove how loud and noises and moving the machine does...considering t change to Hotpoint but it’s used now on for a less than a week and now packaging gone with e delivery man. Above all not with the noise, bags and shaking loudly banging also there is a scratched like the film is come of inside the door class.

As an owner of a previous ecobubble, I knew this would meet my expectations straight away. It has plenty of different wash cycles to choose from and you can tweak them to suit your needs from altering the temperature, varying the spin, to how many rinses you want. There is no "just spin" selection on the dial but you if alter the rinse and spin programme to no-rinse you get just a spin. I noticed the delay feature has been reduced so it starts at 2 hours up to 24 hours. It meets the needs of my family of 5 and we soon hit our first 40 washes and the clever machine told me it was time to do an Eco Drum Clean! I am sad, I know but I love this bonus feature. So far too,the "stay clean" draw is doing its thing and there is no black residue appearing and no powder or softener being left behind. For someone who is loves cleaning, I love it and it still smells like a new car!

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes. The first thing we noticed was high quiet this is compared to our previous washing machine, despite having a faster spin speed. This means you can run the machine at night and use the delayed start feature so that it finishes when you are getting up. It seems to wash well and the faster spin means that clothes come out drier and do not take as long to dry. It has many different wash options, although it would be nice to have more information so you can decide which is the best one to use. The 8kg load means it can do a good family wash and the eco wash options are very welcome. The controls are easy to understand (so that even my 18 year old son can use it)and enhance the overall design and look of the machine. I would definitely recommend this machine to a busy family.

Had over a week. As old machine blew up had plenty of washes to do.Great cleaning, amazingly quiete, good range of programs overall pleased.Smaller washes everytime have left a sock unwasher stuck on door rubber. That's a big failure as it's in there to be cleaned. Larger washes tend to drag the sock eventually back out.Install had a couple of issues which could be true of all I guess. First a tight fit, so balancing / levelling in situ is awkward. Took 3 attempts. Was noisy if not levelled but now probably best I've had for being quiete nowllevel. 2nd was the feet seem very gripy so difficult to slide back. Marked the LVP flooring although did scrub out. As the machine has a check mode,could that be used to lower and level feet in situ with rollers to make putting into place easier? Just a thought.
