I have a lot of Salomon gear, its all of great quality, the Pulse belt is no different. This is one of the simplest bits of equipment, but is incredibly useful.I'll first say today was my first outing with it.I used it in conjunction with my ADV skin 5 set.First off, the two don't interfere with each other. The zippered pouch accommodates an iPhone 8, of course you'll have a big brick outline, but it does fit. My regular sized 8 fits perfectly. I had quick access to my phone the whole time. The other open stretch pouch will allow for a wind jacket, gels and I haven't tried it, but a softflask would probably fit as well, but may be bouncy. The thing that sold me on this design is the angled vertical straps.I often do vert heavy outings, today was no different. My poles are constantly coming in and out, the pole holder on my pack works, but I don't find it terribly convenient.I am loving the straps on the Pulse, each time I deployed my poles it was quick and easy to get them out and stow them. When I was running with them attached, there was no sign of irritating bounce. After 17 miles and 4k vert, no chafing, rubbing or discomfort.Make sure it fits fairly snug around your hip bones. It stayed comfortably in place all that time. I can't speak to the durability of the product, but based on all of my other packs and belts, I'm confident this will stand up to the test. 32-33 inch waist, medium works for me.Another arrow in the quiver.

I have tried many belts, none as good as this so far.. Stays on place when loaded full as well as when empty and while it has capacity to carry a lot, it is very minimal when carrying just a little. It's balanced so that you can put stuff around your body, so not all stuff is on the front or back. Many this type of belts have more insecure pockets, with pulse belt it's absolutely no worry about dropping something.. My stuff carrying needs are not so heavily on carrying water or other heavy stuff, I need more room for clothes and small items. Typical hydration belt has too big bottle and still too little room for stuff, so race vest has been more convenient option, this belt removes need to use such..While pulse belt can take lots of stuff, stuff can also be jammed between belt and body, which is easy to do specifically with this type of elastic belts and doesn't make belt much tighter or add weight to belt. Usually I like carrying little but with commute runs there can be quite a big difference between morning and afternoon temperatures, so to avoid uncomfortable over dressing it's convenient to have lots of carrying capacity.

Onto my second version of this. First one the zip broke from use (I poke my headphone jack through the zip gap), after maybe 2 years of use. Not bad. Not ripped the materialIt goes on every run with me. For reference I have a 29inch waist and the medium does start to get a bit loose after longer runs, so maybe go for small if you're skinnier than that.Once in place, this thing doesn't move, it just faithfully hangs onto your belongings and you. I like to wear it just above the hips as my phone sometimes digs in if it's lower.Zip pouch is big enough for a google pixel, breathable mesh all the way around the back of the belt. Pouch with a clip for your keys.I have a big bundle of keys and they fit in there along with a pair of gloves and a mask. Not waterproof, but goes through the washing machine no problem.Red colour is vibrant, pale blue colour is also nice. Doesn't fade with washes. Quick dry.

I use the pulse belt for the majority of my runs and combine it with a pack for longer endeavours.I can conveniently and comfortably carry all the basic gear for trail runs up to 15 miles when I’m familiar with the terrain. The zipper pocket that I position front will easily accommodate phone, basic first aid ,energy bar ,key etc. The open tube pocket/pouch I use for soft flask and head torch. The belt is light and even when loaded disappears with no bounce or irritation. The sizing is accurate and durability good. The zip was the weakest link on my last pulse belt but broke only after 18 months of almost daily use although I suspect this was my fault for over cramming the pocket with nutrition. The belt is not water resistant but dries quickly, I put phone etc in a sandwich bag. I highly recommend the pulse belt ,a perfect carrying solution for mid-distance runs.

I had been wanting to replace my bulky waist pouch with something more discreet, but held off from buying this for weeks, but I'm glad I finally did.All I wanted was a belt to carry a large smartphone (iPhone Pro Max), keys and maybe a jacket and/or a small soft-flask. The Pulse Belt does all that and sits discreetly and comfortably under my t-shirt. There is no excessive bounce and everything feels secure.I got the large for my 34 inch waist and it's a slightly loose fit but stays in place well enough - I don't have to keep hitching it up. I'm still losing weight so may have to go for the medium soon. I haven't tried carrying poles, but the elastics look a bit flimsy - I'd probably stick to using them for a light jacket.I'm sure this will last me a good while with moderate use.Another great bit of kit from Salomon.

The belt is really comfortable, zip compartment and one opened one that has a hook inside (really useful for keys). Usually I fit my phone, keys, 250ml soft bottle with water, 1 energy gel and you have some more space for some smaller items or stuff more in the non-zip compartment, however it will become a little bouncy. So far i prefer it for runs in the city 20-30 km it is perfectly fine. So now for the negative parts - for the price and brand name I expect more. Zip unstitched on the second month (with my close to none experience with a needle I was able to repair it, however I reverted the zip direction since the slider fall off). And a few months later the Salomon logo has peeled off.S-Lab Advanced Skin 3 is much more durable, much more breathable, carries more things but I still prefer this one for shorter runs in the city.

I have been using this product for a month or two now. I really love the function of the belt, soft flask and phone won't jiggle and they go unnoticed. Unless like me, you order the wrong size. I ordered an S, having a pants size 30-31in. The belt is really tight and uncomfortable even when worn empty. I really hoped it would stretch over use, but so far no luck. At the moment I only take it on the longer runs when its essential to have water. Quality seems top-notch though. As said, for me, the fit is super tight, even more so when carrying phone and bottle. Regardless, 2 months of hard wear have caused no stretching, zipper issues or anything else. If that is not a sign of quality, then I don't know what it. Definitely plan on buying a new one, sizing M for sure this time! Looking forwards to nice summer runs with it.

I bought this belt approximately 1 month ago and have used it on a wide range of runs (long/short, road/trail, hot/cold weather). Like most people, finding the "right" belt has been a struggle over the years and I can confidently say my search is over. The belts sets where it's supposed to and doesn't slip or bounce. I've been using a 250ml soft flask which stows nicely in the stretchy back pouch and I can easily fit a phone (if needed) and some food in the zippered front pouch. There are also 2 straps on the back to hold poles in a pinch but probably not the best option for longer outings, although you'd probably be using a vest in those cases regardless. Great belt...get it.

Having looked at these for a while. I decided to invest in one. Doing a fair amount of running ( 3 miles - 30 miles). I needed something light to carry my phone and a water bottle (250ml soft flask). For info it will hold more. I went a small 7 mile run to test it and l am pleased to say that is does what l want it to do. You cannot feel it on when running and it is comfortable. There is no movement in the belt, others l have had work its ways down your waist or just don't sit tight. The material is fairly stretchy, as for sizing it all depends on how tight or loose you would like the belt to be. Remember this is non adjustable.

Very good fluid belt for short trips. I get with me mobile and a soft bottle (not included), or maybe to distress two but then I take my runner backpack instead. I also get with any energy bar and think it works really well. Can get a little foamy if I have too much water but still feel very smooth. Good with hooks that allow me to attach a sweater / jacket if I put on too much at the beginning. The only minus is that, since it has no buckle, I have to step in it, which means that I have to remove my water bottle to drink and pill it again, but I knew that already when I bought it. I am very pleased!

I wish it would stay on my hips! It is unfortunate that the belt keeps riding up while I'm running, perhaps it's too big? I bought size large, my hips are 100cm and my waist is 88cm. It's otherwise OK, I like that the elastic pocket at the back first my 0,5l soft flask. I would perhaps prefer for the zip pocket to be bigger, with soft flask at the back, the front pocket only fits my phone and a small snack. Keys, tissues and lipbalm need to be carried in my pockets. Not a big deal now, might be a hassle in the summer. I'm generally happy with it.

I used this as part of my gear for the Tahoe 200 trail race, carrying my phone for easy access in the front zippered pocket, and for my treking poles in back using the diagonal straps. It worked great for the poles as I could pull them out or store them back on the pack very quickly. The previous time I had run this race without this belt it would take me 20 seconds or so to store my poles. This last time using the belt's loops it would take 5 seconds, and without me having to slow down. Great design.

I bought this in Jan 2020 and have used it nearly every day for carrying my phone on daily runs. Can easily fit a phone, keys (using the key hook), hat and gloves (when needed) gel(s) and when needed other things like a wallet. Super comfortable, only issue is that if I try to put a bottle in it then it does jump about and becomes annoying (haven't found a waist pack type product which does not do this though) so I don't tend to use it on runs over 90 mins where I would need to carry water.

I am a trail runner and purchased this belt with that in mind. I spent some time in Hawaii and used the belt everyday. Whether trail running or strolling on the beach. The front pocket is perfect for a cell phone and the back pocket has a zipper, was able to fit the car keys and my debt card in this pocket. The belt never moved (no riding up!) I have the green one and I think it looks very stylish. It was a birthday gift to myself and I am super pleased. Good price and good product!

I have been using this for three weeks now, and I am very pleased with the Pulse Belt. It is ideal for a phone, wallet, keys, and a small piece of food or liquid container and holds these items securely both ascending and descending quickly on the trail. I was in-between a small and medium, and opted for the smaller belt to ensure a snug fit. I am glad I did so, therefore if you are in-between sizes I suggest opting for the smaller size.
