Overall it's a good saw for the price. The laser guide is good. There are a few negative things though. The blade guard is plastic and is definitely going to break at some point. It's not very powerful like a corded saw, it has jammed up against the wood and stopped a few times, and the battery (2.5ah) doesn't last long. Other than those things it's pretty good. Overall I'm happy with it. It's nice and light and being cordless is a huge advantage. It's great for small jobs but if you have a lot of cuts to do and have access to electricity outlets, I'd go with a corded saw. I use mine up my allotment where there isn't access to electricity so it does the job pretty well

Great value as factory-refurbished item. Good, solid saw. Gets through batteries quickly and can cause the smaller batteries (e.g. those that come with drills) to cut out after not much use but this would only be a problem if you were doing large jobs, in which case budget to buy a bigger capacity battery.All in all, very happy with it.

Light and so easy to set up and use (the hardest part was opening the b****y box). In operation within 10 minutes of delivery which was rapid at 2 working days. If you check the Ryobi web site you will be amazed at what they make for other brands including Milwaukee. No wonder these are true value for money.

The only problem is there is no dust bag. Now where can i get a dust bag? but ar part from that the circular saw is brilliant. verygood stuff nice and easy to use good stuff works good.

Used it twice now and as a working joiner it's a good piece of kit if power is not available. I like all the ryobi one products but the battery and chargers are a bit expensive

Having had a corded saw for many years, I found this one more convenient but to get full benefit it is better to use the high power battery

Not bad run time if you use big batteries and cut thin wood. Doesn’t last long when cutting thick wood also no good for cutting damp wood

Inserted blade . Attached battery. Switched on . Job which took an hour to do took ten minutes. Highly recommended.

I've had one of these saws for years so when it finely gave up I had to get a new one.
