Ordered this twice from one seller, and the hat was missing both times so not as described. My daughter loved the outfit so much that we attempted a third order from a different seller and were very happy.There's a lot of glitter on the skirt so be sure to open it out outside to avoid mess.It needs to be fluffed out after unwrapping, but I found the whole outfit to be of good quality and the hat was a great alternative to traditional pirate hats for a girl.My daughter felt like a proper pirate captain in this.I ordered the medium for my daughter as she is almost 6, but there was plenty of room. The belt was a touch too big so we had to tie it instead but that was the only issue and wasn't awful

Bought for World book day at school. Daughter loved it. Nicely made, but as others have commented, when you open it your floor will get covered in glitter from the skirt!The hat is included, there is a top which is a blouse and corset-style top all in one and the skirt is separate with an elasticated waist. The top was a perfect fit, but the skirt was a bit loose on my 6 yr old so sat more on her hips than waist. The red ribbons on the sleeves need to be tied on separately. Great costume.

My little girl looked adorable in this costume on pirates' day. People kept asking to take pics of her. She's a tall 7yr old so I bought a bigger size. Funny enough the skirt was the perfect fit yet the top was big. Once I tied the belt over her top, you couldn't tell she was wearing an older child's costume. If you're buying the bigger size for a taller child, the belt will be too big and too long so fastening it won't work. I tied it into a bow and it worked perfectly.

My daughter loved this outfit, ordered 5-7 was a bit worried it would be too small after reading some of the reviews but it was a large fitting had to take the skirt and the belt in but lovely when it was on also arrived with the hat which is very well made

Bought for pirate day at school. It fits nicely and looks more expensive than its actual price. My daughter has sensitive skin so wore a light cotton top underneath and had no issues. She really stood out and was very proud of herself. I would recommend it

My daughter enjoyed dressing up in this costume. It's not 'made to last' and will likely fall apart quite quickly but it does the job for one or two parties or general dress-up. I'd recommend ordering a size larger as it comes up a little small.

Seen this outfit a while ago, thought it would be perfect for my daughter as she wants to be a pirate... it is absolutely perfect, looks exactly like the product photo! The only problem is that the hat is too small for my daughters head ?

Nice costume, but very big in size, purchased for my tall 7 year old and still too big.The glitter does get everywhere even after shaking it out in the garden. Anyway my daughter loves it, that's all that matters :)

This is really nice costume for a Halloween party's or school dress ups.Its bit bigger then to the true size and the glitter is falling off the dress constantly.But its still really beautiful and the kid loves is!

Bought this for daughter pirate picnic at school... glad I paid a little bit more as the details are ace- even down to the ribbons on the sleeves etc. A good buy

Lovely costume. Hat was great quality even though we manged to loose it at school. Very glittery which does fall off a fair bit. But brilliant costume over all

Lovely costume, fitted my nearly 7 year old perfectly... only problem I had was the belt was massive! But with a couple of stitches it was easy to amend.

The skirt could have been at better quality but suited well for my Daughters pirate play, had a problem with delivery but that was due to Amazon delivery
