I read the reviews on this and so I wasn't expecting fabulous quality and that is what I got. The mask looks like the picture but there are imperfections in the painting, it doesn't stay on a person's head well, and it came a bit squashed. I used clothing to stuff it over night to help reshape it a bit and that seemed to help. I made a little dummy body and put this on top to welcome guests to our Harry Potter themed party and it worked just fine for that. Later in the evening my dad wore it and a sheet draped around him like a toga and he looked great - he's a little stooped man so it was perfect. However, he didn't wear it long because it's hot and uncomfortable.

I'm 19 and got this mask for a HP themed party, it was a good size and i loved it but there were some problems. The strap that keeps the mask on broke rather quickly, but this can easily be fixed with a stapler or if you are out of a staples like i was then you can just string it through the ear hole and make a double knot. The other problem was the eye holes, for some reason the designer made them too low and to be able to see you have to tilt your head up and look down, but this is also easily remedied if you just take scissors and caught out the pupils of the mask, it actually makes it look better.Bottom line: If you are looking to buy this mask i would say go for it,

I bought this for my 8 yo daughter, who had already made herself a Dobby costume from an old pillow case. She wore it (the mask, not the pillow case) to the library and at the beach, and says it's comfortable and she can see well through the eye holes. It's lightweight, but has held up very well after a few weeks of pretty significant wear, including being packed into purses, bookbags, and suitcases. It has held up to water, having been worn during playtime under the sprinkler. It was also used to top a dummy made of pillows, a shirt, a pair of sneakers and a hula necklace -- just the thing you want to see when coming down the stairs first thing in the morning! Definitely a good purchase.

The mask is brilliant, great for dressing up for theme days. It seems very durable and can be rinsed to keep it clean. Dobby is one of the Harry Potter best loved characters and that's what makes this mask so much fun, and providing your head isn't too big an adult could easily wear this mask. It doesn't have an educational value as such but because the character is from the Harry Potter films, it could be used to get children interested in the stories behind the mask. I love it and hope to use it on many more theme days. I also found it to be extremely good value for money.

This mask looks great, it wears funny, and the elastic broke the first time my son wore it. Overall I got what I paid for and with some staples to the sides it still works. The other reviews that say the eyes are off set are correct, my son had a hard time seeing out of the holes that are already there. You could cut out new holes but we didn't bother he just flipped it on top of his head except for pictures. It really does look like Dobby though and the pictures of him in his costume turned out great.

A lot of the reviews said this could fit an adult and that the adult size was gigantic but nope, this is definitely child-sized. I think if you’re a really petite adult, you can get away with it. It was also creased from being folded but you can take care of that by just using a blow dryer and heating up the rubber a bit so it takes the original shape. All in all not bad and I’m still gunna cram my face into it but if you’re a normal sized adult human, get the adult sized mask...

These are perfect. I ordered three to use as elves on our Christmas float I added some white fluffy hair and bushy white eyebrows and viola Dobby elves Christmas style. They look really cute. I also bought child's 12-14 Santa elf suits to finish the outfit. They look really great on the floatAs for using as a child's or adult mask I think they would be hot. They are Latex so make sure you don't have a allergy to them.But as props I couldn't be happier

we bought these for a hp fundraiser event for our kids to wear. they are more for bigger kids or teens. we had to tie the elastic because they weren't tight enough. they are hard to see out of. They came folded up and even after placing them flat with a book on the to straighten them out, they were still kind of crooked. kids got tired of them after awhile. but for the price and if only wearing for a short time they would be great!!

I would agree with other reviewers that the big slits below the eye holes don't show up in the product picture and would be rather unexpected if you hadn't read about them in the reviews. However, it wasn't a big deal for us--it was my son's Halloween costume and he didn't mind. If you were planning to win some sort of prize for your costume, I suppose it might really matter. :)

This mask is worth it to complete your Dobby costume. It fits both a small adult and child. The mask does smell a little, so letting it air out when you get it might help. You might also need to lay it flat initially since it’s a little warped when you receive it.

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter to wear as a Halloween costume. Everyone LOVED it! She looked so funny! It was a bit big for her, my husband and I could quite comfortably fit it. She had fun and people were amazed at how much she resembled Dobby.

One I received Looks like official branded merchandise. No smell, thick durable rubber, was not deformed or creased. Was child sized for sure I put it on a small child sized mannequin and fit perfect. No complaints especially for the price

We were thrilled to see a Dobby mask! My kids LOVE Dobby! The resemblance was great! However, this mask was a little awkward. It worked fine - but it was hard for my 5 year old son to adjust it so that he could see out the eye holes.

I'm a small adult (5'1") and while looking for Dobby masks noticed that the adult mask was described as very large. I took my chances with the child size and am happy that I did; it is open in the back. but has elastic ties.

Looks exactly as pictured. It’s a little hot wearing it since it is stiff latex but awesome quality especially for the price. I bought this as a surprise to scare my friends when we go to Harry Potter world. It’s perfect
