I've yet to fully review this but two kittens and two packs went in record time that my vet recommended to me to feed them, I've just ordered a 48x pack from another retailer, reason for ordering we have one with severe back door trots and we think the other one could be doing the same.... coming home at 6am after a night shift and the first thing you have to do is soak up 'splodges' of poo, clean out a very mucky litter tray disinfect everything is not my idea of fun at silly o'clock in the morning while the other half is snoring her head off upstairs... heard and read so much good about this product and my vet recommended (but not at his prices)hence the purchase I will report back after they have been on it for a while...I also think its a bit daft to only rate this product 1 or 2 star's simply because you're cat won't eat it, our last cat was a right fussy so and so... and would turn his nose up at something he regularly eat... but just look at the positive reviews..

My 3 year old cat has had runny number 2's ever since he was born, and has been diagnosed with having the equivalent of human IBS (IBD). He's had all sorts of treatments, medications and variations of diets, but nothing has worked. On my last visit to the vet, they suggested that I tried this particular food and another course of anti-biotics.Would you belive that the next day he never went to the toilet despite eating three sachets ? Then finally he passed what can only be described as a monster log. It was a different colour, with no smell and he now goes to the toilet every other day, and not after every meal like before. The vet reckons that it was this food that made the improvement as thetablets wouldnt have worked so quickly. After a week of being off the tablets and solely on this food, he is still passing normal poos, and is actually putting on weight.

I had cause to take my 12 month year old cat to the vet a few days ago - he was vomiting at an alarming rate and had to have injections - one in case he had eaten something he shouldn't have and another to put a lining on his tum - I was told to feed him on either chicken or fish for net few days but decided to try the chicken and rice and I can only say that he loved it and not only that his two sisters loved it too so now I am going to order it as I am fed up paying out and having to throw food out - a great change to see empty bowls;) and though more expensive so worth it. Sorry should have mentioned earlier - my 12 month year old is now back to his old playful self - no sickness since thankgoodness and I know it is mostly because of this great cat food which is expensive but well worth the outlay.

It is a shame i can only give this cat food 5 stars because it deserves a whole lot more. Since buying this, it has literally changed my cats life. Previously she was suffering with an upset stomach reguarly. We changed her food & nothing worked. Her coat was dry looking without a shine. She looked older than her age & she is only 11. After a visit to the vets because of an illness this food was diagnosed. After a couple of days she was tranformed. Her glossy coat, has a sheen and she no longer suffers with stomach problem. Generally she seems a much happier & more content cat. This is fantastic for me to see & i would recommend this food to anyone. That is why I say - "This is the best food ever" based on what has happened to my cat.But you can only try it for youself - what are you waiting for ?

We took our cat to the vets towards the end of last year, as he was producing very soft stools. He was also off his food and always seemed tired. The vet sold a box of this, saying that it is not uncommon for cats to develop these kinds of symptoms and that it probably IBS. Buying the food from the vet was crazy-expensive, but I only bought one box there for Indi to be going on with. When we got him home, we put some in his bowl and after an hour or so he reluctantly ate some. He had this exclusively over the weekend and his tummy was back to normal within a couple of days. Splendid. We now keep this food in at all times, but do not feed it all the time, only if he has had a bit of a toilet problem or sometimes for a meal following something rich like fish or beef, just to keep things stable.

I have a very old, scraggy cat who has a sensitive tummy and no teeth. On recommendation from our vet we started using this food to help with her 'tummy problems' (to put it politely!).She is now alot happier, has put on a little weight (which she needed to) and the outcome is also that she is not as 'fragrant' as she was.As she has no teeth I thought that she may struggle a little with the chunks of meat but she has no problems and seems to be happy having the same flavour food each day. I have a feeling that she also feels alot better (having taken to playing chase with our new puppy!).Buying from Amazon means that I can get 48 sachets (including P&P) for about £6 cheaper than buying direct from the vet.The last order I placed came within two days. Will continue to buy.

Amazing...My cat has had diarrhoea since he was born. (4 years ago). Only once a day but completely runny and smelly. Vet prescribed all sorts of probiotics etc and nothing worked. Have been feeding him Hills gastro and whilst this stopped him being sick, he still had diarrhoea.Bought this a week ago (along with the biscuits) and cannot believe that it has cured it. For the first time ever it is not all runny. Unbelievable. Don't know what's in it but definitely works much better than anything have tried before. Is annoying that vets don't prescribe this rather than making you spend a fortune on things that don't work.Excellent product - they love the taste as well and can't get enough of itso will be putting both my cats on this permanently now.

I bought this because our 11 year old cat was diagnosed with pancreatitis.Buying from the vets in relatively small amounts was good enough to discover he liked it but it's 35% cheaper online. I've made repeat orders; there is no indication as yet (fingers crossed) that he's tiring of it. But it isn't 100% of his diet: he gets a pouch a day plus 'Senior' biscuits plus portion of fish (pollack). This has seen him tone up noticeably with a marked reduction in vomiting episodes.

I tried this on the advice of my vet as we have a cat with a very sensitive stomach. Although he likes the mainstream brands (in fact he likes most foods) it doesn't suit him and gives him the runs. Although this is expensive compared to the usual Felix and Whiskas it does actually control his stomach/allergy problems and it's cheaper than taking him to the vets once a month. Would recommend trying it if you have a cat with similar problems.

£10 and change. That's the postage charge for ordering this 12-pack of cat food.£10 and change. This Royal Canin food is vet good. My finickerty cat loves it, and it seems to ease her GI tract problems. But I can't find anywhere near me which stocks it in London. So I have to order it online. But I won't be ordering it from this seller, as the unjustifiably high postage charge of £10 and change nearly doubles what I'd have to pay.

I have an IBD cat who when having a flare up, suffers with acute diarrhea and weight loss. It seemed the only food he could eat was Science Plan Z Diet but he became very bored with it, and started leaving it - leading to weight loss again. Tried this and he immediately liked the taste - has had no IBD symptoms and he's gained weight. I now order regularly, it's not cheap, but the improvement in his condition is very positive.

Our Persian of 19 years old had developed severe gastric diahorrea with blood and she had stopped eating. We tried everything from chicken to fish but she refused the lot. The Vet gave her a steroid injection and a sample of this wonderful food. I am now giving her this food.Within a few days her diahorrea stopped and she is eating like a horse almost three sachets a day. What more can I say? The proof is in the eating!

Since having tummy issues, we were recommended this by the vet. After a small weaning period (about a week of transitioning), our cat now loves these and the dry equivalent too. His tummy is much better and so far, so good! Definitely worth a try but would always check with your vet if your cat is poorly like ours was - this has worked as a good follow on after having medication and is much kinder on his digestion.
