We moved to this as we have a pair of indoor sterilised and slightly chubby cats. Our cats seem to like this - we tend to mix it in with Royal Canin Obesity mix as well, which seems to do work. They've stabilised weight, and one of them has dropped a good few pounds as well.It hasn't quite stopped them begging for food, but that might be habit with them. One top tip is that you'll want to ensure there is a fresh supply of water as they tend to drink more with the dry foods.The downside is that its vastly more expensive than their old food, but I guess they are eating less of it, and its not turning them into 6Kg+ monsters.

I have a 9 month old exotic shorthair. He was neutered about month ago and since then, he seems hungry (or greedy) constantly. I weigh his food every day to prevent over feeding. I only started feeding him this particular type of Royal Canin about a week ago and I do see quite a big difference already. I also feed him other Royal Canin dry food (Kitten and Dental) as he absolutely loves it and it's beneficial for him (I hope) :D He now comes to have a look at what I'm eating, has a sniff, but doesn't try to eat my food. I can actually eat without moving my plate around :D

I've bought this food to help reduce the weight of my cat upon advice from my vet. The food works really well - he loves it and the recommended portion size seems to suit him. If you are feeding a cat on a diet one tip I would share is to weight out the food for the week in advance and put each portion into a zip lock bag labelled with the day of the week. This not only saves time, it also helps avoid situations where the cat gets fed by everyone in the house as everyone thinks the cat hasn't been fed yet.

My very tubby kitty needed to loose weight. Being an indoor, neutered cat this can be hard.She is t a fussy eater anyway, she will eat any dry food - and went straight to this when I poured it out.Since commending on this she has more energy, her fur is soft and shiny and her major dandruff problem she has had since a kitten has miraculously disappeared.Not noticed much weight loss as yet but it's only been three weeks - happy to continue using this product.

Bought this for our ever-ravenous new cat (a 9-month old), who was continually pawing at our own food and generally being a bit of a pest. She calmed right down from her very first portion of the appetite-control kibble, and paid no attention to our having breakfast. It hasn't completely transformed her (when she's hungry, she's hungry), but it does make a striking difference. She is happier and less yowly; we are happier too.

My cat (as with most cats) is extremely fussy - but she loves these. Comes with a seal at the top of the bag to help keep them fresh. We previously used the "outdoor" version of this brand as our cat was an active cat spending a lot of time outdoors - until we found that this was for cats that actually live outdoors - it has 20% fat content (I think this is about 12% - much lower).

I have tried different dry cat food all which my 2 cats wouldn`t eat, but then my sister recommended this Royal Canin cat food. Since I have used this, they both seem to be more content and actually eat all the contents of the bowl, so would recommend this, also the price is slightly lower than a leading pet store and free delivery, so everyones happy!!

Cat loves it but it definitely doesn't stop him begging for food the rest of the time (probably just a bad habit at this stage and not hunger). Seems to be the only food that does help keep the weight managed and keep the cat sufficiently full, though. Keeps well in the bag or an airtight container. Sufficient food for at least 2 months at a time.

My two cats love this food, it does help to keep them from begging for food and seems to keep them full throughout the day. Previously they would gobble down all their food in one go but with this food they eat a little and then go back for some more later and it keeps them sustained throughout the day. Well worth it for happy, full kittens!

The vet recommended for my cat to lose a little bit of weight. Thanks to this dry food and the amazing quality of Royal Canin, she will manage to reach the goal very soon. My cat is usually very picky with her food but I never had any issue with these types of Royal Canin.I do recommend Royal Canin Sterilised Appetite Control to everyone!

There are very few items my cat will eat and this is one of them - the only criterion for me. I had many unsuccessful struggles to get him to eat pouches. Dry food has meany advantages to the owner - no waste, the ability to leave a double amount if one's out. He seems healthy on it and it's his only food.

Is probably good and does last much longer, in that it does seem to get munched up a lot slower. But when combined with any wet food this makes our cat sick. Not necessarily a criticism of this food but just something to bear in mind if your cat has a mix of wet and dry food.

We feed our cats by allowing them to graze whenever they want. They always seem to eat a few kibbles at a time but frequently throughout the day. They seem to like it, and always ask for more if there's even the remotest blank space showing the bottom of the food bowl.

It takes time, but I do think my cat is now less greedy. She begs less; only at meal times now, when before it was whenever I went to the kitchen. She has a small handful a day in addition to one wet sachet of a different brand. Seems to last a long time as well.

Amazing value! My cat loves Royal Canin food and this type of food it's just perfect for her taste buds (she is very fussy) and health. I have ordered it as a normal delivery, however it arrived after one day! Extremely fast! Would recommend to every cat owner.
