My 9 year old Burmese progressively lost weight and also her hearing. Her weight loss happened over months and she was worryingly thin. The vets suspected cancer but nothing was found especially as she threw up and had diarrhoea a few times. Nothing cancerous or anything else was found and she gained a few grams but was still noticeably thin. After a few months of no further weight gain I decided to put her on a high calories food to help her gain weight. This did the trick. I started her mid April and by mid July she has made fantastic gains and looks great. She seemed to have developed a sensitive stomach as well with the weight loss and with probiotics that has cleared up but all in all the Royal Canin has been great.

I have two cats, who are healthy but have very little appetite, therefore quite thin and small in size.Wet food is a no go as they will waste it (even fresh fish), yet they both absolutely love this dry food.Haven't weighted them yet but they are visibly more active and they have gained a bit for sure.Whatever is in this, cats love it, especially the one that used to be the most difficult, he happily tucks in several times a day (which never happened before). I will obviously not use it for the long term due to the high calories but will definitely stick to this brand.As for delivery and seller, ordered twice, next day in,

My Maine Coon rescue, is only 6 but has a very temperamental digestive system and rather thin, yet healthy. I've been feeding her on kitten food/Cimikat to fatten her up and reduce the squits. She ADORED these biscuits and hoping this will help her to put on weight. She's a very picky eater - will eat a little unsalted butter, hates greek yoghurt and won't eat sardines or anything humanish - bar roast chicken skins.I've never had a cat that was so blinking difficult to feed! This food looks like a breakthrough. I've bought Royal Canin for over a decade as I used to be a breeder and can't recommend the food quality too highly for dogs and cats.

This cat food literally has saved my 16 year old cats life. Recommended by my vet, after her weight plummeted. to skeletal proportions. after only a week of this food, she stopped vomiting, put weight on and eats every piece of kibble. her litter tray also no longer smells of bad odour. She is full of energy and asks for this food, eating only the measured portion.She is now on this long term and a bag lasts over one month. so works out cheaper than buying the standard cat foods. Happy to recommend this to anyone.My cat now looks and acts half her age again.

Cannot recommend this highly enough.This was a 'wing-it' purchase as my 19 yr old cat was dropping weight, vets checked her and we were told to just carry on for now, not really satisfied with that I searched for higher quality senior foods and came across this. Purchased 4 weeks ago, she loves it, gained weight and has her spark back so for me it does what it says, though bear in mind it's not a 'miracle' food, if your cat is loosing weight vets should always be your first port of call.

My cat is over 17 (human) years old ... she's always been a fussy eater, so when she started losing more weight because whatever I tried to tempt her with was not good enough, the vet suggested I buy this food. She STILL picks at it, but at least isn't getting any thinner, and hopefully, is getting the calories she needs.

My 17yo cat lost a lot of weight. The vet wanted to put her down, suspecting cancer but definitely she has kidney disease. I chose not to put her down, instead I bought this food in a bid to bring her health back.It's been wonderful. She's putting on weight and her coat is in much better condition.

Our 13 year old puss was losing weight for no reason the vet could discover so this food seemed ideal. She has had food allergies in the past so I was worried about changing her diet but she is now well into her second packet and has regained and is maintaining her ideal weight with no ill effects.

Got this for my cat who was eating v little and ill. He was almost tempted to eat it but he was too ill. So full marks for attracting his interest on his last day. The other cats are now chomping it down in a rationed manner as they are fat bags.

This has made a huge difference to my elderly cat,he was barely eating and had lost around 2kg. I tried this after reading the reviews, and it's been a great success. He's eating more, his coat has got it's shine back and he loves the taste.

Omg my cat loves this food! He was looking so skimpy and skinny and ill, since giving him this food he has put weight straight bk on!!! Looks amazing! Bk to his old looking and self! This food is amazing! 5 stars +!!!

My elderly cat who really doesn't like eating all that much managed to gain 200g in 4 months with the introduction of this into the dry food section of her diet.

very good nutritional support for ageing cats who do not perhaps eat as much as they used to. My cat loves it and crunches away on the kibbles.

Brilliant for the older cat that can't keep their weight on! Plus good if got no or sensitive teeth as they r quite small! Highly recommended!

If your cat is fussy and underweight, try this. My lovely (but thin) Ragdoll just loves this, and she has put on weight at last!
