I now have two cats and one has just ben diagnosed. I therefore had the problem of depriving (at least partially) the other cat of treats. They both eat mainly dry food with different types in the kitchen and upstairs (I know, I know) but have been living mainly on treats which I sometimes think are addictive (not called cat heroin for nothing!).I got a mixed pack of three sorts of dry food and assorted wet, put some out and waited for little noses to go up in the air. Not a bit of it! They'll eat the other types of renal food I got them (I'm still experimenting with all the different sorts and brands) but THIS one is absolutely IT as far as they are both concerned!

We thought we were going to lose our 18 and a half year old cat earlier this year. He had renal disease and had been put on a drip, which hadn't had the desired effect. We made the decision not to put him through another round of that. He also has pancreatitis, so our predicament was with feeding, as one condition aggravates the other. Also, his teeth aren't that great any more for hard food. This is the same as the RC +12 in that it has a soft centre so easier for him to eat.We bought a small bag to get him through, as we were told we may only have weeks. Within 7 days, he had started to improve. 6 months on, and he's put on weight, and has spent most of the Summer outside marauding around.

Good quality cat food that my cat seems to enjoy since having to move to renal food. She does seem to like the other royal canin renal food better even though I thought this one would be tastier but what do I know I'm not a cat. Quality and delivery very good and the amount lasts about 2 months. Lastly and most important it is far cheaper than the vets which was over £40 for the same.

I had a problem with the bag on delivery it was slightly damaged - however the company were excellent and customer service very helpful - they organised a replacement bag immediately - good service

Cat still likes it but we are surprised in change in product to last time we bought from this seller i.e. much larger pieces and softer inside. Would have expected to be alerted to this.
