I bought this for my three house cats.My youngest cat, a sphynx, has always had super sensitive and dry skin. He seems to be allergic to everything and I can't justify the price of the Sphynx specific dry food in case he has a reaction to it.I was a bit wary that I would notice a difference at all but for the price it was worth a shot!Straight away, all of my cats absolutely loved this food! It was scoffed in minutes and they didn't complain or pester me for their wet food. After around two weeks I was happy that there had been no reaction for my little cat and I had noticed a difference in the skin on his face, it wasn't dry or sore in the mornings and had healed up really fast!It worked an absolute treat on him and I would 110% recommend this food for sphynx cats :)Unfortunately, for my other two cats who do have fur, I noticed no difference in their coats and I've been using this food for a few months now.For all three cats their stool has been consistent and with no problems since starting this (they all have very sensitive stomachs that is easily set off by their foods). This bag lasted 3 weeks for my 3 cats who also eat dry and raw.

My cats (all Moggies) enjoy these biscuits.I feed a mix at all times, so cat be sure which type does what. In the summer veer towards Royal Canin Furball, Royal canin Shorthair, James Well beloved Duck or Lamb, Purina Light. Try and thin them down a bit. Rest of the year they get Royal Canin Persian 30 and Royal Canin Hair and Skin. Plus what ever else is going. Both these are high in oils and very popular with my 4 cats.Fur and skin is in lovely condition. Only draw back is that they are very calorific and cats like them a lot ! So they get quite cuddly by the spring. Hence I ease off once they start shedding rather than growing hair.I'd add that I groom cats very often (with a Furminator). Also 2 cats (previously stray) had a dramatic improvement in skin, dandruff and hair condition when I gave them a prescription kill everything worming medicine. Much more effective than over the counter tablets I'd been giving them.

This product was recommended to me by my vet as I have a cat that moults considerable amounts of fur. Initially tried a smaller pack in case cats didn’t like and may not have worked as stated...Well I have to say I’m very pleased with this product and it has most definitely worked on reducing the amount of fur my cat moults and her coat is much more glossy and shinier after two weeks .Although this is quite expensive and I haven’t found any other brands that work, it is worth it if you have cats that shed a lot of fur like mine.. However i recommend that you alternate these with other brands of dry cat food to stop them from being bored.

We included Royal Canin products in our last cat's diet because she had a flea allergy so skin/hair condition was a problem. Her fur grew back quickly and her general condition improved so when our current cat found us (she wandered into our garden one day) it was a "no brainer" to carry on with Royal Canin. Her coat and skin was in very bad condition and we noticed a difference very quickly in her general condition. It doesn't seem to matter what the eating habits of your cat are Royal Canin seem to have something to suit them, also although it may seem more expensive if they eat it and it does them good what more could you ask!

This sorted my 12 year old cat's dandruff issue in just 7 days and his coat looks wet because it is so glossy since he had had this food over the ladt 6 weeks. However, my cat has developed a food allergy to high protein food products so I have had to stop giving it to him ;since I am piloting him on another brand of dry food which is hypoallergic.Pity since this food really made a difference to his coat and skin in days -hence it is still getting 5 stars.I wish I could eat it to help my skin and hair!I know R Cannin also make hypoallergenic cat food so I may try the RC version if my cat's dandruff gets really bad again.

Daughter's boyfriend's cat has had skin problems all it's life. It was on £50 month medication without any real results. We've always used royal canin for both dogs and cats. She bought the cat this food. Stopped meds and the skin problems proved in less than a month. Cat eats it with gusto where it was a picky eater before. Would always recommend royal canin. We had a 16 year old cat which started jumping up on sofa when fed this. She lived until 21. Also my toy dog had bladder stones and the correct royal canin food kept her going until 15 when we thought we'd lose her at 12 years.

Really excellent product. Rescued kitty had sore, flaky skin and fur that matted easily. I fed it to him exclusively through the winter and his coat is beautiful and he's able to be groomed without complaining it hurts! Now, I mix it with some of the other Royal Canin products as I see fit. Also use it with a prescription diet for my Norwegian Forest cat, and see a great coat coming there too. They love the taste too, but - warming - as with all dry foods, keep the air out and don't buy bags that take ages to work through as the flavour goes if exposed to the air.

My two cats absolutely love this food and the bag of food lasted about 6 weeks in total perhaps more. It's pricey but it did help the condition of my cats fur and skin overall. Their coats had become dull as they were malting so much due to the heat, especially my older female cat. Although they are still malting their fur is so shiny and soft, they have more energy and their skin seems better and not so dry. Great for continued use if you can afford it, but definitely a great choice to get your cats back to their best lovely and little selves.

We too were introduced to this cat food when we sought something to help Millie sort out an invasion of "special friends" ! Despite frontline treatments our pusscat had scratched so much that get back legs had bald patches. With a combination of a stronger flea deterrent & introducing this food as part of her diet, Millie's hair is back with a lovely all over shine & she's her pretty princess self. At £13.49 this was fantastic value compared to high st pet shops . And now her brother can fill his face too with the munchies they both love.

Well my Cats love this and I also serve them Royal Canin Sensitive for their digestion alongside this. There are so many of these varieties to choose from that I intend to give most of them a try out for my cats just to see which they like best and at the price this is something you can afford to do. The product comes well packaged and arrives really quickly. Both cats are tortiseshells and I have seen such a marked improvement in the condition of their coats since using this that I am tempted to try it myself!

They only arrived today but the main hurdle has been overcome in as much as the fussiest cat in the world is eating them. Time will tell if her dandruff improves but going by the other reviews I am quite positive. I have given 4 stars because of the achievement of them being eaten but had to retain one star because results are not yet known. I will have to update. Two days on and I spoke to soon! Now she won't eat them!

We mainly purchased this because of convenience, quality and the pricing, but our two cats loved the food. I might have just imagined it but it did look like their coats were a little shinier after feeding them this for a few weeks. The bag lasted us a good few months. I would definitely recommend Royal Canin cat food and this bag is very convenient. The only downside is that the bag isn't resealable.

Most of the large cats seem to like it but need to get used to it. Its recommended for Maine Coons, Persians and Siberian Wildcats. Of course we include the likes of Ragdoll, Angora and Birman.Pros- good for hair and skin in the longer run- qualityCons- flavour is fair though not as good as RC30, RC Maine Coon or RC Fit- expensive for the price, it was 1200 before 2 months, its 1400 now!!!!

My maine coon had had a severe flea allergy (after frontline seemed to stop working!), and her coat had bald patches where she'd chewed her fur away and she was looking rather threadbare. After reading reviews I put her on this food and within a week her coat had improved tenfold. Stroking her is now a much nicer experience as her coat feels so silky and smooth. Definitely recommend.

We have had our rescue cat for 18 months and have been buying Royal Canin Skin and Hair for over a year. The change in our cat's sensitive skin has been incredible and he no longer has any dry/scabby/bald patches. His coat is beautiful too. Royal Canin definitely suits our moggy, so will continue to buy, and from Amazon it's a lot cheaper than else where!
