If you enjoyed the series, you will undoubtably ejoy the game. All the main characters such as Chaos 2,Hypnodisc and Razor are in the game and the house robots are very realistic. The gameplay is much better than the other reviews suggest. Although it takes a while to get used to, once you have it is very addictive and unique.The PS2 has very few games like this, although if you are a fan of Wrestling games or beat em ups, you are also likely to like this. The 'Create a Robot' section is very enjoyable, with lots of weapons used in the series, e.g. chainsaw. However, it takes a long time saving up from winning competitions to make your ideal robot.For the price,

I liked this game, although if your console is a little worn out it can run slowly and the music may loop every 5 or so seconds. All this aside though,the game is ingeniously fun to play, the make a robot function is great fun to have a play with and once you have made one, you can pit it against traffic cones and the like, or you can take on a house robot. All commantated by Jonanthan Pierce - the REAL Robot Wars commantator. Spectacular maps such as the London arena, north sea oil rig,German dock and many more. I felt that it's rather disappointing successor Extreme Destruction for the PC was nothing compared to this game, a must buy.

You might think robot wars is a kids game but you would be wrong.I thought it would untill I played it and realised it takes skill that kids just wouldn't have. I started making a robot with my mate who is 16 and I found that I could make better ones than him and I am a lot younger than him. I made one that you couldn't beat even on the training where you can fight house robots or any of the famous ones like hypnodisc or chaos 2. In the workshop you can create your very own monster. Youstart with 2000 credits and you can work up by winning other tournaments and beating other robots.

This is definitely my favourite robot wars game, as it has the best range of weapons and extras. It is also good that the makers have added vengeance battles as a gameplay option. However this only allows you to fight against your own robots. This may just be my copy of the disc acting up, or it could be a design flaw. My main grievance about this game is that with robots like "razer" the physics that they have used does not allow the player to lift up the other robot and carry it around the arenas. If it weren't for this minor flaw, this game would be excellent.

Bought this for when i go to uni so i have an easy game for my ps2. Basically, it is very similar to the PC version but just not as good. The PC version is much faster and has a market section which holds onto all your robots you've ever made, whereas the ps2 version doesn't have this, so you have to prioritise which robots you have. So its good fun but just not as good as the PC one.

great game for all ages well worth the money paid for this addictive game making and destroying robots just like being there in the flesh in the gantry controlling your robot against other robots would recommend to others to buy just for the shear enjoyment .
