I'm predominantly a whisky drinker but there are times when only cognac will do. I've amassed a small collection over the years, VS's, VSOP's and the odd XO when my horses have come in! Cognac is sometimes a strange anomaly, with some VS and VSOP's being so smooth and drinkable that the more expensive and sought after XO's fall a little flat. Remy Martin VSOP is an extremely popular VSOP and it's easy to see why. It's insanely smooth, flavourful without being punchy, and well priced in comparison to some of the other larger cognac houses. It certainly trumps Couvoisier and Hine at this price point.If you like more complex flavours and can put up with a small sacrifice in smoothness you can certainly find more interesting and more rewarding tipples than this,

So.This is the second verison of Remy VOSP I have tried, the other being the one this replaced, that was in (I think) green Bottles, that had a different Label and Box.Anyways, the point is, I really enjoy this and feel that the price, around £30 is very good for the Drink you get, I would not call it anything special but then again, it works and is good value for money.So yes, totally worth a try and unless the ones that cost nearly or over a hundred are awesomely better, I really, to be honest..feel this is a go-to must for anyone into Cognac or Brandy and will probably be the only one I buy.Hopefully this helps people to decide whether or not to buy this.Regards.

This item arrived within time scale and well packaged. However when we opened it up we thought the wrong bottle was sent because it was completely different from the picture, we received a clear bottle with silver label not a black one with pink/red label but it was still a VSOP. I specifically ordered by picture as well as description because of it matched a bottle we had a couple of years ago as a gift so not convinced it was same but it was still a nice cognac.

I have been enjoying Remy since my discovery of this post dinner nectar during my working times, with my extensive travels to (almost) every where. I say that it is always a pleasure, and I mean this as an observation, and not merely flattery! Bought as an xmas present and I know she will love it! Delivered really quickly. I did ask for it to be gift wrapped. I was expecting the box to wrapped but it was just placed in a large blue sack with a big yellow ribbon tied around it. The sack and ribbon are very nice but I did have to take the parcel out and wrap it in Christmas paper..sort of defeats the object but still pleased with the bag and ribbon...

This 70cl/700ml bottle of Rémy Martin VSOP is among the tastiest and affordable cognacs one can relish on. My father describes it as ‘Rocket Fuel’ and gladly savours it neat. Serve this to guests after supper as a digestive, they will very unlikely be disappointed. I’m always on the lookout for the best price tag, regularly comparing supermarkets’ deals and often spending under £32 for a boxed bottle.

I am more of a whisky or rum drinker but bought this as an alternative for friends night cap when visiting. I decided to join them instead of having my usual tipple of whisky and at first, didnt enjoy 'straight' but with ice it's lovely. It wont be my regular go to as the flavours are not as complex as a whisky IMO but a great alternative, especially if you want a drink with ice.

Remy Martin VSOP is a very classy, elegant cognac that is really good value for money when compared to the rarer, more expensive brands.It is exceptionally smooth and velvety with a complex yet unimposing flavour. It is a great allrounder and works very well both on its own or mixed with other drinks and cocktails.It is without doubt my first choice VSOP Cognac.

This is excellent Cognac there is no doubt about that, hardly cheap but worth it. However Amazon's careless courier just left it outside the door, being too lazy to bother to ring the bell. Fortunately there were no cognac-loving tramps on the prowl and I was able to retrieve it after it had been lyingly reported to have been 'handed to resident' on the homepage.

My hubby is a massive brandy lover, so purchased him a bottle as a treat when we moved into our new home. As usual it was gone in no time, I wish he got hangovers so treats like this would last him longer. Not my first purchase from this seller and won't be my last. If you love a drop of Remy then you can't really go wrong.

One of the best brandy manufacturers out there, this Champagne Cognac is up there with the best!!!!! Beautiful aroma and when tasting for the first time a lovely warmth not overpowering comes to the throat, the taste is fruity and Remy Martin provides their renown quality to this superb brandy!!!!!!

To me, this is just that little bit better than the competition - the likes of Hennessy and Courvoisier.Remy's just that little bit smoother.And I'm sorry all you purists out there, but a quick 10 seconds in the microwave warms it up perfectly.This is my post-meal drink of choice.

Brought this as a stocking filler for my boyfriend. As I do every year. Only this year the bugger found it under the tree unwrapped it and opened it. So as punishment I used what he hadn’t drank and soaked my fruit ready to make a Christmas cake. Presented in a lovely gift box

Melt in the mouth heaven. First had this in Cyprus in 1969. Was hooked on it then and I'm still hooked. Wonderful to savour on a Sunday evening after a delicious meal. This literaly melts in the mouth without any harsh after effect or taste. if you don't believe me, try it...

A regular stock in my home bar. Spotted a good deal so ordered 3. Nearly cruised theough the winter. Now on the last one. Will hunt again for a good deal and stock up if I get a good price. Remy Martin tastes best according to me in VSOP brands. So yes always!
