Bought as a Birthday present for my older Brother who has always loved Courvoisier Brandy but hardly goes anywhere to drink it.It's a very smooth sippable Brandy, not to be rushed drunk just how you like it but never with cola, that runs the taste.Putting it up against other Brands I have drunk:-COURVOISIER - as above.ASBACH URALT - Tastes much stronger and bitter on the palette hence I'd suggest a mixer of choice, lemonade or soda doesn't mask the taste too much. This was a staple and very cheap bottle of Brandy when I lived in Germany whilst ex partner served in forces. Ask any member of the forces who've served in Germany which Brandy is best and this one always comes up tops.METAXA - My personal favourite.A sweeter more palatable brandy can be used at the table as a dessert brandy, drunk neat, over ice or with mixer of choice.Make your own minds up I'm just happy I got the right bottle and Corvoisier my Brother enjoys the most. I can imagine him drinking it now?

I bought this because...a) I know I like the tasteb) It was discountedIt was very well packaged, delivered quickly and the bottle I drank over the Xmas period was a real treat - I mostly drank mine with cola, though neat is good too. If I had one gripe it's that I know the V.S.O.P. makes this stuff taste like swill. If you've never tried this, then you should buy some; if you have tried this and liked it, you should have bought the max 3 bottles per person when it was being sold ridiculously cheap.~Bonus~The cork style lid and long neck produce the most satisfying noises when the bottle is opened and the drink is poured. This is a double edged sword because, although I could open it quietly,I don't want to; everyone in the house knows when I'm having another one.*plu-flung* *glug* *glug* *glug* *glug*

Courvoisier is one of the cheaper brandies which is pleasant to drink on its own without mixers and the offer here is not expensive when compared with supermarket prices. My personal preference is for a calvados or an armagnac after a meal, but if I am choosing a brandy, Couvoisier is often what I will go for. However, if you want to mix brandy and american or similar, then best to go for the cheap supermarket brands as it would be a waste of good money to use Courvoisier.VS is the standard label for Courvoisier. The VS stands for very special, higher ranges being VSOP (very superior old pale) and XO (extra old). Reputedly Courvoisier was drunk by Napoleon so quite a history behind it!

It's very nice. I got it as a Christmas present for myself. It seems to be a good quality cognac although I don't tend to drink cognac very often (except on special occasions). The bottle itself is very elegant and looks good sat on the sideboard. It's perfect on it's own although you can mix it with other things if you please. I'd definately buy this again next Christmas.

Not really a brandy drinker, whisky being my preferred poison, but I have to say I quite enjoyed the change. Decent flavour - sort of Christmas cakey (that's probably caused by the brandy in the cake - doh!) and good price when it was on offer. Would happily buy again. And I probably will.

I bought a bottle of this excellent cognac in July(not from Amazon) and I can truthfully say that it was money well spent. I'm no expert on cognac, but I really enjoyed this one. I will definitely be getting another bottle at Christmas, hopefully as a Christmas present too.

My husband loves this and is quite disappointed that it has gone into my Christmas cupboard, the bottle looks huge and compared to the supermarket prices it is quite good value - just need the port now! Got a second one today, hubby was delighted. Very good price

bottle looks amazing, this is a gift for my mum and I am pleased with it and I am sure she will enjoy drinking it:-)got this at a fab price, over £6 cheaper than the cheapest price at the supermarket and I didn't have to go and fetch itperfect!!!

I find the 70cl bottle size very annoying. You get 1 litre ones in airports, why not generally. It is environmentally wasteful to have such small bottles. Packaging & transport levels, etc. all raised. The cognac itself is good though.

I bought this Brandy through Morrisons Prime during lockdown as a birthday present for a Brandy loving friend. Good price, good Brandy, great service and delivery through Morrisons Prime, plus friend was pleased too!

Very smooth on the pallet and no mixer needed. At least 3 to 4 days worth and we'll presented.Downside is that Amazon constantly asks for photo ID and not everyone has it. I mean you can tell if someone is over 18

I ordered this product for a present, when it arrive I was very upset that it was not in a box the presentation box it shows when ordering my item there's nothing like a good brandy in its own box, very dishearten

Being a tea-totaller, it was bought to flavour Christmas Cake. Had not noticed it was only VS, not VSOP (missing hint of coffee).Still flavours cake well. Not able to comment on it as a drink, though.

Of all the brandies it changes least, that's why I like it so. 'If it ain't broke don't fix it'. You keep making it the same, I'll keep drinking it! You out there take note of this observation.
