This is my first Remington having always been a Phillips shaver man myself and I have to say I am a little impressed. Not too impressed but it does the job. What I liked most about this shaver was the almost 90 degree angle of the shaving head to the unit itself making it ergonomically designed to use against the face. It does not give as close a shave as my Phillips but I guess with time when the cutters bed in, it will give a cleaner shave. On the while not a bad little shaver and great that is is wet 'n' dry too.

I purchased this to replace a Philps series 5000 wet & dty rotary shaver and I have to say the shave I get with the Remington is much closer & MUCH QUICKER. Battery life is good and the shaver leaves my face more comfortable than any shaver I has used before. I would recommend using King of Shaves Gel for the best shave ever. This razor even coped with 4 day growth easily - the philips really struggled with more than 1 days growth.

I'm not used to an electric razor having always wet shaved. At first I tried this razor dry and found that I was not getting a good shave with it. It leaves a very rough surface.I then used it to wet shave using shaving cream and what a difference. A very good close and smooth shave.For dry shaving I would say it is very poor but then again I think all electric shavers are. If used wet it is really surprisingly good.

First time l've ever used an electric razor, l've been shaving for over 50yrs all ways wet shave, but this razor can be wet or dry, really close shave, quick and easy to use, l did find it a bit sore when I first used it but l think I was pushing a bit hard, now no problems, wish l had used one year's ago, l bought it with the money my children have me for father's Day

when i saw this product had been refurbished i did not know what to exspect but since i have used the shaver a few times all is working well the only thing i find differant from previous shaver is that after a few moments of use the shaver heads do get a little hot otherwise all is well with it

I like this shaver at lot, it is light and easy to use, very quiet, has good battery life and gives a close shave. Only drawback is it does take some time to get a really good shave so you need a bit of patience.

My father loved this, so got one for my brother. Fantastic shaver, rotates on your face so so smooth and great for sensitive skin. Great value compared to high street. Thank you

I've been using an earlier model of this razor for about 6 years and broke the long hair trimmer. I've been so pleased with it i was delighted to find it was still available.

It shaves close and looks to be good quality and the stand/charger base is a good idea. However I don't think it shaves as close as the Phillips AT890 razor that it replaces.

Efficient shaver for price holds charge well .downside very plastic feel appearance and fittings .shaving head lacks strength and can detach from shaver body with pressure

A excellent shaver made by Remington, this razor can be used wet or dry and gives a close shave, I find Remington to be 1st class razors(that's my opinion),
