Without a doubt, this is an excellent purchase if it meets your needs. For what you get, this jacket is very good value.It is thick and warm and would be perfect for a winter day in the city, or a crisp, dry walk in the countryside. The fleece lining and padding makes for a very warm jacket, which is comfy too.My one reservation is its claim of being waterproof. It isn't. But then very little is, if you're in the rain for long enough. To test this jacket, I used it alongside a dedicated waterproof shell from Berghaus (that's about 8 times the price). The jacket under review leaked after about half an hour of (admittedly torrential) rain. The comparison jacket remained dry for 6 hours of persistent rain.So,

The jacket represents great value for the price i almost bought it in black until i noticed burgundy was much cheaper so i went for it despite almost never wearing colour, it's thick,very warm thanks to the fleece lining on the back and it's waterproof! I've been out in torrential rain and came home dry the only part that didn't cope well in torrential rain was the pockets i'm unsure why. The bit down the bottom to tighten it broke on day one wich was a bit dissapointing but i wasn't going to return it just for that and i'm glad i didn't. If you need a good waterproof jacket with a big hood,two zipped pockets one outer and one inner then this is perfect. It will keep me warm cycling to work during winter and walking my dog.

This is a great jacket and perfect for British winters. It is well padded and designed. Hooded like a parka and waterproof. A good fit and the small was spot on. I like all of the details like the pockets etc. It's nice and warm and cosy to wear.I'm not usually a fan of this colour, but this actually looks lovely. I like the fleecy lining.

This is a great jacket for autumn walks, warm but light weight and waterproof without feeling like you are wrapped in a plastic bag. The material breaths and keeps you comfortably warm.I would like a larger zipper. when you hands are cold and old its hard to zip up a small zipper. Otherwise it great comfort at a great price.

For the price this is exceptional value. It’s fleece lining is so warm and comfortable that you don’t need a jumper under to feel warm.Sizes are slightly bigger than I personally expected. I didn’t expect it to be so well insulated and warm so actually ordered a size or two bigger and it looks huge. Well worth buying.

Excellent warm and wet proof coat, in fact I purchased one a few weeks earlier for £90, for walking on beach with the dog, then I seen this on here for half price and new it was worth every penny so I bought it for wearing out to town etc, and the hood doesn't cover your eyes which is great, would definitely recommend,

I love it! Great quality warm jacket and for £30 is an amazing deal! I love that you can regulate the hood. And the colour is nice. Definitely recommend it.I'm 178cm 65kg and I ordered my usual size - size S and it fits great.

Very happy with this jacket. Solid built and worm in winter. Perfect for those ski trip walks on the mountains.
