I bought the navy and sea spray in xxl and I'm 6'1" & 46 chest.I already had an XL version that I bought in a shop i.e. tried on, together with a soft shell Regatta to go under it. The soft shell was xxl and the jacket xl and I could never for the life of me understand why I did that or why I didn't go back to the shop and get the jacket changed to an xxl? I think I also had tried the xxl on over the shell and so must have thought the XL better.Anyhow I ended up never wearing either or maybe the jacket over a t-shirt in summer the odd time. Now I have two xxl's and I've spent the morning trying them with different mid layers and my great Lapasa thermal t-shirts.I had a couple of spare fleecesthat I wasn't using and these do fit sort of well under the xxl's but not at all under the XL and the softshell being thinner than the fleeces is a bit lose under the xxl so it seems I did chose correctly in the shop matching the XL jacket to the xxl soft-shell and now I can use my spare fleeces with these other two xxl's so I suppose this has worked out pretty well.I do miss a chest pocket and I do find these jackets very nice except for little underarm room and snug across the shoulders and the zips jam easily if not careful. A little more space in those areas and this would be a very comfortable rain jacket for me. There is plenty of torso space and arm length but the areas I mentioned limit the flexibility of wearing thicker layers underneath and I think if I opted for xxxl then it would be to big and baggy and catch to much wind when I cycle but for me what I have now will do me fine I just have to become accustomed to the slightly tight areas. It's just the shape of the garment. If you are long and slender I think it will be more suitable and if you are a serious outdoor user then probably look at some more advanced featured models. This is just a nice basic showery rain protector that can pack away into it's pocket though I've never tried that and you may need some origami skills. There is carry strap in one of the pockets that it packs into but I just cut that off.I do like them and they are value (not at £60 rrp!) but fit could be better for me and they really should have a chest pocket. Maybe there is no chest pocket because they use up all the chest pockets putting two chest pockets on some of their other jackets. A bit silly. You can have none or two but one chest pocket? No we can't do that. I have to say though that the two zipped side pockets are good and large and easily fit my hat and gloves if it gets warm and the collar folds down very nicely over the shoulders again if it's warmer. Out today I was very comfortable the whole time. When cycling up hills produced a lot of heat I just zipped down some the jacket and my fleece and got plenty of cool air in around me.The other thing is no reflective piping or badge on the rear and even the badge on the left arm would be better on the right arm for traffic to see it if you are cycling but it's not a specific cycling jacket but I like it for that use as I don't need those long fishtail cycling jackets as I have mudguards. So, glad I got these XXL. The XL just doesn't fit anything under it very well for me except a single thin layer like a t-shirt the shell being a bit of a squeeze so I'll use the XL in summer .

I bought this particular jacket for the following reasons:- It was heavily discounted- I have another jacket by Regatta which I'm happy with, so I had some brand trust- It is advertised as waterproof- It is packable into the left hand pocket making it very portableFirst impressions (when I opened the package) were that this is a well made jacket. It has a proper breathable lining, the zips are fairly sturdy, and the outer material seems to be of a good quality. It took me a while to figure out how to pack it into the pocket because I've never owned a jacket that had this feature before. I actually found a couple of videos on YouTube of people packing jackets (not this exact jacket, but similar). Then when I had a go myself, I found it works well.On the negative side, I feel the cuffs are very wide and have very little elasticity. I suppose wide cuffs are good if you're wearing gloves though, so maybe I'll be grateful if I wear it in cold conditions.I'm a standard large size, and this fits me pretty much perfectly around the body. I feel there is room for a few layers underneath, but it's not baggy. Really like the fact that the hood packs away. All in all, I think it's a brilliant jacket considering what I paid for it. Thanks Amazon and Regatta, very happy.

After several wet cycle trips and a 2 hour walk in torrential rain I can safely say this jacket will keep you dry, it is very thin and lightweight but it does keep the wind chill out whilst I'm cycling(with a fleece underneath). Will be good for the summer as seems fairly breathable.I have the lime green which keeps me visible on the roadI have the large size which allows for warm layers underneath whist not being too big with just a shirt(I'm 6ft slim build)

The product is extremely thin - more than I first thought. It hasnt been worn yet so dont know how it is with wind/rain proofing at the moment. The sizing seemed a little on the small side so I would recommend getting at least one or two sizes bigger than your actual size. I dont normally buy clothes online and these are the reason I dont! Having said that im sure it will be used so am not going to go through the process of sending back.

I love these jackets. If you get too warm whilst doing your activities you just pack it into it's left pocket and strap it round your waist with the elasticated strap within the pocket. You don't need to carry another bag to put it in. Waterproof and mesh lined for breathability, totally windproof. I have 3 if these jackets all in great colours. Recommended.

The plus points:It is very lightweight. It comes with a pouch that the jacket can fit into to carry. It has kept me dry so far in light rain.It is not too plasticy'The not so good points:Would be better with a drawstring hemcordThe elasticated cuffs are too big and water can come in.If you don't intent to wear much underneath go for a size down.

Attractive silver grey colour exactly as described. Seems to ventilate well so far, no sweat/damp/condensation issues. Only downside a rather bulky stand up collar area which feels unnecessarily thick, especially when hood is up. Bought largest size and is lovely and loose/unrestricted over layers of clothes. Waterproof so far too.

Bought this for my teenage son to throw on over his school uniform when it rains. Does the job, it fits in his bag with everything else, is lightweight and showerproof, looks good. We didn’t buy it for warmth or thickness so can’t comment on that. Good price on offer when we purchased too.

Used this climbing Kilimanjaro (not that I mention it much) haha. Anyway, kept me dry all week and folded down nice and small for when it was in my day pack!

The jacket worked a treat when out on the golf course and it poured with rain for over an hour it kept me dry and warm. I think it is well worth the money.

Took this jacket to Japan for the RWC and it more than did its job - kept the showers out, lightweight and folded away back into its pocket.

I do a lot of hiking, as a winter outer layer or summer shower pakamac I find these jackets both excellent in performance and cost.

Didn't give any stars for warmth or thickness because it's a pack away raincoat but five stars for product & fast delivery..

Very nice jacket, tested on some rainy days in Edinburgh. Very useful as a windbreaker. I use it every day to cycle to work.
