I'm a fan of Real Techniques and have many in my vast brush collection for different tasks and looks, this set is ideal for nailing the cut crease eye look with little fuss. I would certainly recommend these to anyone looking to try this type of look and would repurchase these if necessary. The first of the brushes is a firm densely packed fluffy brush, but not too large or as fluffy as a blending brush from this range, slightly fanned to allow a smooth and consistent application of shadow across the lid. Ideal for sweeping a base colour across the lid and gently blending into the shape that flatters your eye shape or chosen look without muddying the colour.I used this with urban decay shadows and cheaper makeup revolution shadows and it worked well to get a good coverage where needed and fading into the base skin with both the expensive and cheap shadows... That's a good brush! The pointy brush is a game changer, especially if you've struggled previously to get a 'clean' cut crease with other brushes. I've tended to use a flat rounded edge brush in the past with good results but this is like drawing on the shadow with a pen/pencil you get a sharp strong line that can be softened out or concentrated as necessary. You get much more control and visibility of the colour is going than using a traditional flat brush so it's great for achieving your look quickly for seasoned makeup users and for successfully achieving the look for those who've struggled before.I will definitely be reaching for these when needing a sharp line- whether cut crease or adding a highlight (I sometimes use a soft gold or shimmer in a thin line to frame the shape of my makeup and under the eye and wing of my liner for adding definition and light to a look) this is perfect for a perfect clean line whether you blend it in or not. I wouldn't line my upper lids with this but it's perfect for working with shadows.Outstanding value, I would'nt hesitate to recommend these

This brand of makeup brush is the best you will find in a budget. They are affordable but such good quality. These two brushes are the ultimate pair. They are really all you truly need to make the perfect eyeshadow look. They are essentials for me. They make my eyeshadow look really flawless without much skill or effort on my part. They don't scratch my eyelids or lose any hair when I am using them. They are already my new favourites for making my eyeshadow look like it has been done professionally for a night out.I can't argue with the price of this set as it is very reasonable for the quality that comes with them. I would love to try more from this brand in the future. There aren't enough affordable makeup brushes on the market but these are making up for that

I don’t often use brushes to apply eye make-up, I prefer to use sponge applicators but seeing these from Real Techniques I thought I would like to try them. They are nice soft brushes and easy to use. I did think the bigger one would be too big for the eye area but I am surprised that it is good for using highlighter under the brow. The other brush was pretty good for the eyelid area but I found the problem I usually have with brushes that it can be hard to judge how much eye shadow to put on to the brush without getting particles falling off the brush on to the under eye area.I would have found it helpful for some advice on using them on the packaging too.All in all I found them good qualitybrushes.

So, here’s another set of eyeshadow brushes from Real Techniques. The chunky one, the Crease Prep Brush, is slightly angled and works well to apply shadow all over the lid, and also to blend. I like the fact that the bristles are packed together closely - much easier to blend than with long, sparse brushes. The Defining Crease brush is longer and thinner, with a tapered shape. It’s brilliant for really getting the colour into your eye socket’s crease, better than all the other brushes I’ve used so far.Once again, a great set of brushes from Real Techniques. You know you want them all….

Love these brushes. They really do help in getting a great crease. While the larger does more of your all over base shade, the smaller of the two is great for using details at tail ends, under eye or right in the socket for a very defined and popping crease. They’re very soft so there’s no uncomfortable scratchy rubbing that you can xperiemce with some other brush brands, and the handles have a nice comfortable feel to them. I’ve been using Real Techniwues for years but I think these ones may be my favourites so far.

A great set of brushes for applying eyeshadow, I love the Real Techniques products and this duo is no exception. The large of the two is a dense, good quality brush that is soft and angled and great for applying a base shade and blending. The second narrower brush is perfect for shading along the crease line and corners of the eye. Totally recommend these brushes, I've got a few and use them daily.

The perfect brush duo for that sharp crease look. The first fluffier brush is perfect for a sweeping base colour across the lid and then the pointy brush with a darker shade of eyeshadow allows you to draw a perfect crease line. The brushes are excellent quality as you’d expect from Real Techniques and wash really well, no shedding.Excellent quality

Real Techniques are a well known quality brand in makeup application. These brushes are really good quality sinthetic brushes & they are lovely & soft, they apply the product easily and don't drag or pull the skin. This duo of brushes give different applications & can be used dry or wet if you want a more intense look.

These are great brushes and a lovely addition to any makeup collection. The smaller brush is great for applying eye makeup at the crease and along the lash line, while the bigger, fuller bristled brush is excellent for applying the main colour over the lid. The brushes are soft and feel lush. I love these.

The stubby brush has been a revelation to me - it is excellent at applying and blending shadow to create a smoky eye.The thinner brush is good for applying shadow to the socket line. The brushes look great - work really well and I for one am a fan.Highy recommended product.

My partner has been using these brushes for a while now and said that they are fantastic and she will continue to use them. She uses them for applying eye shadow which, thanks to the soft brushes, helped to create a very defined look that's she delighted with.

Really pleased with these brushes as I usually am with Real Techniques. My daughter has been trying to perfect the cut crease with her eye make up and she feels these brushes are helpful in achieving the look she wants, so top marks.

These are really nice brushes, a set of two. One smaller, thinner brush for areas needing more definition such as the crease of the eye, and a fatter more bristly brush for blending on the eyelid itself. A useful set.

Just perfect brushes. Nice texture so it doesn’t hurt to apply like some brushes can. Good value too for good quality brushes

Although my last lot got lost in the post I'd recommend the brushes I've used them for years love them!
