Let me just start off by saying that as long as your buying directly from Amazon (so sold and shipped by) there should be absolutely no question as to authenticity. I received two of the three pairs I ordered three days ago (two pairs of these, one boyfriend - the third should be coming tomorrow) and they're perfect (the RB etching, model, made in Italy, etc.). After reading various reviews voicing concerns of authenticity, I made sure that under seller I selected the Amazon option for each pair (a few bucks more than some, but still way lower than the RP). I would highly recommend that if you buy through Amazon that you do the same to ensure a hassle-free and worry-free purchase.I've owned a pair of the flat top boyfriends for about a year and a half now and just love them.

Let me start by saying that I hate, hate, hate sunglasses and rarely wore them until six years ago when I was diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer on my leg. Surgery went well and I've been cancer free ever since, but my eye doctor warned me that melanoma survivors are susceptible to get melanoma in their eyes. He insisted that I wear sunglasses at all times when outdoors. Since then, I've gone through about a dozen pairs of department store sunglasses and I've hated every pair. I found them to be heavy and uncomfortable, They'd pinch my nose, hurt behind my ears, and give me a headache. I also couldn't stand how they affected my vision when in the shade of a tree or if the sun went behind a cloud.

This was a "happy birthday to me" purchase and it is, at least, my half-dozenth pair of Ray-Bans in a lifetime. I buy Ray-Ban because of the timeless elegance at ridiculously bargain-basement prices...what a concept! And, they are really strong...most of the Ray-Bans I ever "replaced" were victims of the vicissitudes of life: moving, law school, constant ramming into handbags/briefcases. I love the fact that a pair of Ray-Bans never seems to go out of style..."Erika" is no exception. My ideal shades are oversized, brown, tortoise-shell rounded frames with real "80's flair" as only Ray-Ban makes them. Before I "avasted" my astigmatism, I had a similar pair of these frames in eyeglasses.

These are now my go-to sunglasses, although when I first received these I admit, I thought they looked cheaply made. I'm not sure if it was the matte frame, how lightweight they are, or the thin arms, but I was less than impressed when I first took them out of the box. BUT, after sitting on these twice and having them survive at the bottom of my purse (with my keys) for the past two months, I can definitely say that these are true RayBan material.The Erika's have become my everyday sunglasses mostly because of the amazing fit. I also have the RB3044 (small Aviators) and RB2132 (52mm Wayfarers) and the Erika's are by far the best fitting pair of Ray Bans I own. Because it's listed as a 54mm,

I'm a bit mystified regarding the negative comments about these sunglasses. I read that they're fake, someone received an empty box, made in China (isn't everything these days?) etc. My order came with free shipping (I'm a Prime member, so that might make a difference) and returns. If you didn't get what you thought you would, why not return them? And, Amazon customer service has always been top-notch when I've had an issue.To the glasses: If they're counterfeit or knock offs, I couldn't tell. Everything about them appears real, and the pair I received are stamped "Made in Italy." Love these sunglasses!!! I have been looking for these all my life! I feel like I've gone through a hundred pairs of sunglasses looking for the perfect ones because I'm picky when it comes to sunglasses! I was looking for ones that are inexpensive yet sturdy and don't look cheap, simple yet trendy, and sophisticated enough to wear in work attire yet casual enough to dress down and THESE are it!!! My FAVORITE part of them is how they are SO lightweight and don't hurt my temples or give me a headache even after wearing them for hours, yet they sit snug on my face and don't slide around...! I love how they are matte black (so sleek and classy) and difficult to scratch (I've dropped them a dozen times and they still look brand new).

LOVE these sunglasses. I went back and forth for hours on if I should buy them or not because of some negative reviews because they were "fake," however, I had no issue. I made sure that the seller was from Amazon direct, and I had absolutely no second thoughts on if they were real or not. They came in a nice brown leather case, and came with the Ray-Ban authentication booklet with care instructions, and proper use. If you had a "fake" pair come in the mail, I would assume there is a very low percentage of that happening, and DEFINITELY not the norm.Also, I bought these and I am a Guy, and they fit like a glove.And the people complaining about how they think they're "flimsier" than the normal Ray-Ban's?

These are the first "real" sunglasses I have ever bought. Before these, I would go to places like Urban Outfitters to buy $15 ones. They would always break with in 2 or 3 months which wasn't a HUGE deal considering they were usually pretty cheap. My biggest problem, however, has always been the fit of the sunglasses. I'm Asian so it can be pretty difficult to find a pair of sunglasses that fit without slipping down my face every 10 seconds. I took a shot in the dark with these sunglasses to see if a higher quality pair would make the difference. I can tell you that they definitely do. I am never buying cheap sunglasses ever again because these fit absolutely perfectly and do not slip off my face.

I received these last week and I am very happy with them. They are very flattering and large enough to cover the under eye area, and they don't slide down my nose which has been a problem with my 2 previous pairs of Ray-bans which were the smooth shiny plastic Wayfarer style and another cat eye shaped style. The frames on these are like a rubberized plastic material so it has some grip. They are very lightweight and comfortable to wear, and another benefit to the material is that if I want to clip them onto my shirt collar for a quick minute while I go into a building they feel secure and don't fall off if I bend over. These sunglasses are a standard, affordable, classy, designer accessory. I was originally looking for some new Aviators because I misplaced my amazing Prada ones (with bezels and all, so sad). I didn't want to spend $300 again, but I needed a nice every day pair that would go with most of what I wear. Hence, the stars align, and I stumble upon these stylishly named (Erika) sunglasses from Ray Ban. The soft, leather case they come in is super nice - it will fit in all of my bags. And the sunglasses themselves fit my face perfectly - which is typically a long shot with sunglasses because I feel like many variations make my face look chubby (I have high cheekbones, so I try to avoid the chipmunk look).

These glasses are wonderful! I bought them to replace my Bausch Lomb Ray Bans which have held up since the mid 90s. I love that they are so lightweight. Glasses always feel heavy on my face and get uncomfortable after time, but not these! So light I forget I'm wearing them.They are true Ray Ban quality as far as durability and sun protection. I have a narrow face and the 54mm fits quite nicely, not overly large as I was anticipating. I purchased the Tortoise frame with brown lenses. The colors are beautiful and the matte finish frames are soft to the touch. I like that you can't easily see the eyes through the lenses too.Other reviewers disliked the case they came in,

If you are looking for function or just flattering frames buy these. I have owned 6 pairs of these over the past few years. They are my absolute favorite. I am not someone who was like "I want ray bans" but I was looking for non-aviator, metal arm sunglasses. My ears are slightly uneven so bendable metal arms are a must for me. However, I hate those nose pieces on most metal frames that get caught in my hair. These are a great frame for my face and are so lightweight I can wear them running and working outside from sunrise to sunset. I used to get headaches at some point and take my sunglasses off but I have literally started showering before I realize they are still on top of my head at 11pm.

Very nice sunglasses. They are very light and comfortable. Worried that these would be too big on my small and petite face, but they look great. They are very fashionable and cover my eye area very well without looking buggy. I purchased directly from Amazon ("fulfilled and sold by Amazon LLC"). These are authentic. The quality of the lenses are awesome. The light weight was actually one of the reasons I purchased it. I usually get headaches from wearing heavy sunglasses which leave marks on the bridge of my nose but the Erikas are so light and comfortable. I have a small head so I had to adjust the arms a little and so they are very snug. These are very functional, comfortable and stylish.

I had a tortoise one before but i scratched the lenses, so i basically just wear the frame without the lense. Looks cute.But i need a pair of sunglasses that i like. So I got a black. As beautiful as the first one.what do i like most about it? It's light-weight! the feet are really thin and you can wear a hat with the glasses without any uncomfort, since I wear hats too much I know! Then the lenses are transitional as it gets more transparent from upside down. It's green grey. Looks almost like just black. The shape of the frame is just not too curvy but not to square.If i ever broke this one again.. I gotta first self criticize quite a bit. Then get another one, maybe the rubber blue one.

They're definitely genuine Ray-Bans, which I was actually a bit worried about as the cost was so low when I purchased them! The frames are nice and light, but the bottom edge of the glasses does rest on my cheek. I think I may need to have the arms adjusted a bit. The green polarized lenses look nice, but they can mess with your vision if you wear them for long periods of time. I wore them during a 7-hour road trip, and after I took them off I noticed it messed with the rods and cones in my eyes a bit and everything I looked at had a red cast for about 15 minutes! A weird experience, to say the least.
