My Ray-Ban 3025 Aviator sunglasses arrived today, and I'm completely satisfied. What I received was undoubtably the REAL Ray-Ban product: packaged in a Ray-Ban box with sticker on the end including the 'Made in Italy' statement and including the Ray-Ban sunglasses case, a small 'manufacturer's information note' paper that is written in no less than 24 languages (!!!) - and I'm not joking (I counted). Plus a small marketing brochure 'The Icons' telling the story of Ray-Ban, and finally a lens cleaning cloth with the Ray-Ban logo. The sunglasses themselves have the Ray-Ban logo etched on the right lens prominently, and very subtly etched on the left lens.So, that's the package. It's as pictured here,and I start with that description because there is always going to be some trepidation at buying something like this online. Will you get The Real Deal, or a cheap knock-off? Well, I purchased mine from Amazon, not from a third-party seller, to reduce that risk, and I am not disappointed.Now to the sunglasses themselves. I think that there are a few things to know, for someone considering Ray-Ban sunglasses:- they come in a very wide variety of frame sizes, lens tints and colors, polarized and non-polarized, and with different frame colors and finishes. If you are not already familiar with these sunglasses and know what you want, then my recommendation is that you first go to the Ray-Ban website and familiarize yourself with those variations, especially if you think that you will want something other than the Traditional Gold Frame, Green Lens sunglass. Once at the Ray-Ban website, select 'customize' at the top, and you'll find yourself on a page where you have the full ability to vary the choices I've summarized below. These variations can all be found on Amazon although navigating through all of the sellers and product pages on Amazon that list the different variations of these sunglasses can be very time consuming and confusing.- For the 3025 Aviator style, the following variations are available:--- There are no less than 35 choices of lenses - 'classic', 'legends', 'gradient', 'mirrored and flash', and 'polarized'--- There are 8 variations in frame color - basic colors of gold and matte gold, and 'trendy' colors of black and 5 others--- There are 5 choices of temple tips (the end of the earpiece) - black or white as basic choices, and brown, beige or transparent also available--- There are a three different sizes available for the Ray-Ban Large Aviator RB3025. I was very concerned about all the counterfit Ray Bans on amazon. I did alot of research on what to look for to spot the fakes. Even people who have said "if the glass is etched on the left lense they are authentic". Well the counterfitters will go to extreme lengths to make them look as real as possable. Nearly every detail is copied. So, after looking at different sellers, watching videos of real and fake glasses I searched for SunglassHut on Amazon. They are the brick and morter authorized sellers. I saved my order to my shopping cart from the Sunglasshut page on Amazon and they were $199.95. When I checked out I noticed it said "sold by and fullfilled by Amazon for $118. This made me a little worried.I wanted to pay the extra money to be sure they were authentic.Why the seller changed I have no idea.Now my review. I am still not 100 percent they are authentic but about 90 percent sure. All the research I have done and the fakes I have seen have all the same markings on the glasses and the case. The only thing the real ones have that the fake ones do not are that the ends of the plastic ear pieces curve a little bit. all the pictures and videos I have seen show the fakes with straight ear pieces at the very ends. The lenses are indeed polarized as you can tell from looking at different peoples rear windows of their cars in the sun. The glass has an invisable checkerboard pattern with the glasses on and it goes away with them off. The blue mirroring is nice and you cant see your eyes from other peoples perspective unless sunlight is coming in from the sides. The fit is good and I will go to my local Sunglasshut store to have them adjusted.Overall 4 stars because of placing in my cart from the sunglasshut page and then it being changed to sold and fullfilled through Amazon, and the fact I still have that 10% doubt they could be fakes.

Recently I purchased my first pair of Ray Ban aviators. An ideal user for this product would be someone who likes to wear sunglasses a lot and knows that they will be getting a lot of use out of a nicer pair of sunglasses. I know for myself I was always the person who told myself that I don’t need to buy a pair of nice sunglasses, I’m fine with my cheap 20 dollar ones from target. But buying a pair of Ray Bans was hands down one of the best purchases I have ever made. Having sunglasses that are high quality really makes me question why I always settled for that 20-dollar pair from target.I evaluated this product on durability, style and compared it to other high priced sunglasses.Before purchasing this product on Amazon I did a lot of research online to figure out what others were saying about the product and it seemed like there just wasn’t a comparison when it came to these sunglasses. When I received my package within two days I was ecstatic because I received a great product and received it quick.I would recommend this product to someone who is looking for fashion forward sunglasses that are durable and stylish. Furthermore, anyone who is looking for a fun everyday pair of sunglasses this may be the perfect fit. I would definitely recommend buying it through Amazon because it comes within two days, which is a bonus because I know that I love to receive packages as soon as possible.Overall I would rate this product 5 stars, after using this product I decided to purchase another pair in a different style. I would say that this product overall is durable stylish and at the top of the list of comparable items. I can now say that I am loyal to the Ray Ban brand after purchasing two sunglasses. Also loyal to the amazon brand as well for the fast shipping and great customer service that I have received.

First of all, these sunglasses arrived within 24 hours of placing the order, so all credit to Pretavoir, who also packed the item very securely. I've owned (and lost) quite a few pairs of Ray Bans in my time. Currently I own a pair Aviators with glass lenses, which I've had since the mid-80s, a pair of fold-up Wayfarers and a pair of 3183s, which I found in Central Park and go some way towards making up for the pairs I've managed to lose. I think Ray Ban make the best sunglasses in the world. They always offer the best protection with minimal optical distortion and the quality hasn't gone downhill since the company was bought by Police of Italy. They should last you a lifetime,if you don't manage to lose them. Ok, so onto this pair. Firstly, the blue mirror finish is a coating. The lenses themselves are the standard green Ray Ban type, so when you wear them, the world doesn't suddenly turn turquoise, but a subtle shade of green. Originally, a mirror finish wasn't any kind of gimmick, but offered the most effective way of reducing glare, simply by reflecting it. And in that regard, I think these are the most effective sunglasses I've owned. With the plastic lenses and minimal frame, the glasses are so light, you can wear them all day. The nose pads are easily adjustable, just by bending them into shape, for a perfect fit. A recent amble down the Kings Road on a sunny afternoon proved just how popular these Ray Bans are with the young, rich and beautiful, but that doesn't take away the fact that they are brilliant at the job they're designed to do. Very highly recommended.

I have always wanted a pair of Ray-Ban Aviators. I have worn pairs of cheap aviators from clothing stores like American Eagle but all of them had issues. The frames were always made of cheap metal or plastic that was easily bent and the lenses never protected my eyes to the degree that I would have liked. I began my search for Ray-Ban Aviators by going to the Ray-Ban website; the cheapest sunglasses they had were $145 and I did not have that kind of money at the time. When I found my sunglasses on Amazon for $86 I ordered them right away. Amazon has a large selection of Ray-Ban Aviators and luckily had a style that was under $90 which was perfect for me. Using Amazon-Prime I had my sunglasses shipped to my house within two days.I wear them every chance I get and they effectively protect my eyes from the sun. The frames are made very well and are not easily bent, and the glasses come with a really nice leather case with the Ray-Ban logo to store your glasses in when you are not wearing them. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a pair of Ray-Ban Aviators to go straight to Amazon because you will get the same Ray-Ban quality for a lot less. And trust me, they are worth every cent!!P.S. I was a bit confused when I had to choose a size because I wasnt sure what to pick. I went with the standard size of 58mm and it fits my face perfectly. If aviator style glasses usually look very big on you, go a size down. If they typically look too small on you, go a size up. Over all though, the standard size of 58mm should fit anyone's face and look awesome!!

I love these glasses so much, I wear them at night. That's not a joke, I really can't stand fluorescent lighting; pair these with a set of earphones, and you're in your own little world!The glasses really do look as good as in the images, and the lenses can appear to be a completely different colour at different times of day and in different lighting.The polarisation is excellent. The glasses are excellent at reducing glare; they remove that starburst effect that can sometimes occur when car headlights or street lamps are in one's field of view.I have yet to find any problems with LCD displays due to the polarisation during normal usage, aside from using my phone (HTC One M9) in landscape mode.With most displays, if you tilt your head a full 90 degrees, the display turns black. Your glasses will inevitably be passed around the office, as you watch co workers craning their necks at phones, monitors and TVs. They're also pretty psychedelic underneath certain motorcycle helmet visors!I highly recommend these glasses to anyone, and trust me, you won't break them. My first pair of Ray Bans were my first pair of sunglasses that went unbroken for more than a single summer; those originals are still going strong after three years. Ray Bans are high quality, and expensive enough that you'll be sure to take care of them.I'd also recommend purchasing directly from Amazon. With so many counterfeits around, you can't be sure what you're getting.

So I was impressed to get exactly the same glasses for $83 that I just tried on for $150 at a the outlet. Basically you get a very legit product, well packaged and with all the proper documentation as you would in any good store. The G-15 glass is fine, but I might get polarized in the future as the glass is not good for fishing or boating, but is absolutely great for driving and general use. The glasses look and feel good. I got the 58mm, but honestly I thought the 62mm looked even better so when I do get the polarized ones.Basically these glasses get 5 starts because they are as advertised.Well made.Comfortable.Classic.Quick delivery.Almost half the price of most stores.These are classic aviators that will not leave my car.The G-15 glass is very good for driving.It does not distort or is too dark, it gives the mirror look without coating and is just a nice dark greenish tint, but not actually green. They are just phenomenal for long term wear.I would also like to point out that I wear glasses for long periods of time and this the 3025 aviators are best. Ray Ban metal glasses tend to be on the heavier side especially their lenses. Not uncomfortable, but you will know you are wearing a Ray Ban product and not a analogue. The thin frame and ear pieces allow these glasses to sit well. If you are doing it for fashion, there are better choices, but for practical use such as driving, these are perfect.

I just received a pair of the gold frame, g15 green lens. I have watched many videos and researched online and these appear to be legitimate, original ray bans. I initially ordered them in the gunmetal frame with Grey lens and had to return due to nose pads not being set properly. That pair was also sold by amazon and appeared to be an original pair. Now the gold frame ones have a different, more real feel to them for some reason, it may just be the material, they had the same markings, labels and came with the same pouch and the contents within. These came in with a sticker on the lens that appeared older or to have been removed, but I assumed someone tried them on and decided not to keep them.No scratches, all the markings, etching on the lens, leather pouch, cleaning cloth and booklet are there. I preferred the green lens over the gray ones and the gold frame quickly grew on me. I exchanged my gray pair due to the nose pad issue but I'm actually glad I went with the classic look and the g15 lens. The size 58 is perfect for the average face so if in doubt I'd start with this size and go up and down as needed. Swift shipping and material arrived in perfect condition as expected. I'd order directly from amazon and forego any other seller unless you are 100% sure they are legit. You really can't go wrong with free shipping and returns if you have prime, plus a heavily discounted price.

Despite their hefty price tag, purchasing something as iconic as Ray Band Aviators is what I would consider to be healthy once or twice a year... We all need treats! So imagine how I felt walking out of John Lewis with these babies on. The mirrored finish is a lot more striking than the Gold frame-Brown lens combo (as worn by Tom Cruise) and is only a few quid more.The strength of the frame is generally good - strong in the most important parts, but flexible enough to offer a comfy fit. I was speaking to someone else who has them, and he said that you can bend the frame to your liking.. Whether this is by the book I don't know,but they are extremely versatile!You'll receive the glasses in a lovely leather pouch with a couple of small booklets regarding their history. One of the reasons I decided to buy these from a reputable shop was that I know places like ebay are littered with thousands of fakes, even at thirty quid claiming to be genuine. The best advice I can give is to see them in person, try them on, then decide, as fakes don't offer Polarizing (Anti-glare) or 100% UV Protection like the genuine ones, even if they claim they do.I'll try to upload some photos soon of the frame/contents to offer some idea of what you should expect.

Alright, I read a few reviews about these not being genuine and was skeptical and hesitant to buy...but after receiving them I compared my new pair (November 2012, Gold with G-15 XLT Lens, 58mm) to the exact same Ray Ban Aviators at Sunglass Hut and Dillards and I believe they are most definitely genuine.The white Ray-Ban logo is written on the lens correctlyThe weight/feel/glass quality are all the sameThe RB is perfectly/properly sketched on the other lensThe Engraving under the top nose bridge is correctThe nose pieces are elliptical, have RB on them correctly, are the right size/shape/materialThe precise writing on the inside of the frames is correct and includes model number, made in Italy,etc...The rubber on the end of the frames is the right shape/materialEverything was properly packed, included all the right materials in original packagingThe box had a proper label on it with model #, bar code, genuine infoLike I said, I was concerned. Around $80 for Aviators instead of the standard $140 is a great deal....IF THEY ARE REAL.I'm certain mine are, so I am keeping them...they were sold directly by Amazon LLC and shipped Amazon prime.

I selected the "Arista" color on the page on Amazon. They appear to be the RB3025 001/51 from the picture, which is the pair I was wanting. The lens a are a slightly different color and the tips that go behind your ear are brown. The ones I got are actually the 001/3E, which are also an arista frame, but more of a salmon pink lense and clear tips behind the ear. Now when I go to my past orders, it shows a picture of the model that was shipped to me instead fo the model I was selecting when purchasing. Sunglass Express was the company that fulfilled my order through Amazon. When I was checking on the product page later, I noticed that selecting Arista turned up another seller.Be careful when buying Aviators off of Amazon because it will change the seller on you, and the one I first saw had a very bad rapport for selling people fakes. The ones I got are definitely real, appear to be made in Italy, so I'm hesitant to try going through returns to get the model I was wanting. They're still very attractive and amazing sunglasses worth five stars. I have to knock a star off from Amazon for veiling the process of determining what model I'm actually buying.

I believe these are authentic, everything that everyone tells you too look for for authenticity, these these shades passed down to every detail. I did some research before I bough these, I was very hesitant at firts but after researching it I took a dive and ordered them. I must say I'm happy and they look good. One thing to point out is that the sunglasses are not light in weight they have a little weight, which I've check raybans at sunglasses hut and they have a little weight to it. I mean if these aren't real whomever replicated em did an amazing job I couldn't tell the difference from one to the other if I was to compare these with a pair from sunglasses hut or macys.So if you order this check for the details such as, the rayban box they came in check the sticker on one of the ends, the rayban laser logo on the left lense, the rayban logo on the nose supports, under the bridge, on the inside of the ear supports check the weight, like I said they have a little weight to it. TOTALLY HAPPY WITH THE PURCHASE AND THE PROCE WAS WORTH IT. do some research on authenticity and theses wil pass.

After looking online for days for a good deal on authentic Ray-Ban aviators I came across these on Amazon.Almost a $60 savings, I was initially hesitant because I didn't want a fake and some reviews questioned the authenticity of the sunglasses and/or theirs came damaged or in a damaged box and since this was a gift I wanted everything to be as perfect as possible. Since the sunglasses were sold directly from amazon.com and I have never had an issue with amazon, I decided to purchase the 3025 aviators 58mm and I am SO glad I did. I got the sunglasses two days after I confirmed the order and the box was in great condition, the aviators were in great condition and the cleaning cloth and little packet were inside.To help with picking a size,these aviators are for my boyfriend, so they fit a 21 year old guy perfectly. Before I bought them I watched some videos on youtube of people trying on the different sizes to guess which size would be best without consulting him. (It would ruin the surprise!) One video I watched was from the online store, Shadesdaddy.com, and it was really helpful.

Just to begin, I want to say that I am female. (It's nice to know whether a guy or a girl is reviewing a product like sunglasses.) I ordered the 58mm Ray-Ban Aviators. I am very happy with how they look on my face. I would say my face size is normal for a female. The only fit issues I have had is with the sunglasses slipping when I walk. I was able to remedy this problem by purchasing an eyeglass repair kit (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GMPRLS/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) which contained "ear grips". I actually cut off the curved section of the ear grip that would fit behind the ear. With these, my Ray-Bans no longer slip down when I walk. I have owned a different,well-known brand of aviators in the past, and I must say that the lenses cannot compare to the lens of the Ray-Bans. The clarity is amazing! My dad has always owned Ray-Bans (aviators, as well), so I am familiar with their durability. Style is personal, but I would be confident in recommending the Ray-Ban brand to anyone who wants clear, high-quality protection for their eyes.

I love these glasses. I am a USAF pilot and fly long days where it's not uncommon to experience both a sunrise and a sunset. I bought the gun metal frames and the brown gradient lens.These glasses feel great to hold. They frame is thin yet it seems to be of very high quality construction. The lenses have some decent weight to them but that doesn't make the glasses feel heavy.In the airplane I have the darker upper part for the bright sun outside and the much less tinted lower part for looking inside the cockpit at instruments, the panels and paperwork. For driving a car, the idea is the same. You can look down at your gauges and your navigator through the less tinted part and outside through the most tinted part.They fit comfortably under a headset for long comfortable wear.The frames are very thin so they don't bother my head under at headset.Non polarized is key for viewing LCD screens such as aircraft displays, cell phones and navigation devices.This is my first pair or Ray Bans and I'm sure they wont be my last.
