So I agonized over the decision to buy these for at least a week...maybe two. In the end I ordered the mock tortoise Clubmasters which have the 49mm bridge, and I am thrilled with what I got. I was worried about the following:Q. Would they fit my face? Could I pull off the style? A. They fit perfectly. I have a small head (hold the sophomoric comments) which measures 7 1/8, and I was afraid these would be too big for my face from the pictures I saw. In fact, they fit my face exactly as I would have hoped. They look neither too big nor too small. As for the style, they're classics. They don't fit your face...your face fits them. It just happens. I can't imagine anyone not looking great in these.Q.Do they have the G15 lens, and should I insist on polarized? A. These do have the G15 lens, which Ray-Ban calls a green tint lens. I wasn't sure what I would get because the description doesn't call it out specifically, and the pictures certainly look like a black lens. The optics in the Clubmasters are insanely clear. You see a slightly greenish tint from the inside out, and the rest of the world sees black from the outside in. Looking at these lenses, I can immediately spot the difference between an over $100 and an under $100 pair of glasses. The green tint is quite subtle, and is hardly noticeable. Also, they are not polarized, which I think is a good thing. I have a pair of $15 polarized Wally World specials, and I use those for outdoor activities which are potentially dangerous for my Clubmasters.Q. Will I get a pair made in China? Will those be knock-offs? A. My pair unabashedly says "Made In China," and the quality is stunning. They are well-built, all the connections are tight, and both lenses sit tightly in the frames (no issues with a loose lens as others have commented on here). Anyone who has done just a little bit of research on these knows that the Clubmasters are now made in China instead of (or in addition to) Italy. China is like any other country: with the right management and workforce, they can churn out some good stuff. And apparently Ray-Ban has some great ex-pats running their factories, 'cause these are rock solid. I would absolutely buy another style of Ray-Bans made in China. They are that good. I looked at these under a microscope (metaphorically speaking) for all the tell-tale signs of counterfeit, but I was just wasting my time; these are the real deal. I'm 34 years old, and these are the first sunglasses that I have owned that cost more than $20. You bet I looked them over real good.Other thoughts: I'm used to curved sport sunglasses which sit nicely on top of your head when you head indoors. Sitting on your head will not do for the Clubmasters, due to their shape. It's awkward to go indoors, because the question is what do you do with your $150 sunglasses (that we smart folks on Amazon paid $50 less for) so that you don't scratch them\lose them\break them? Don't know; haven't figured that one out yet.The straw derby/panama hat craze is in full swing right now. Not my thing, but I seem to see them on everyone. These would look absolutely authentic and correct sitting just below a short-brimmed straw panama/derby. Classic, classic look.

Classic! Retro wayfarer's At the time of this writing I just received the Ray-Ban Clubmaster 49mm. Mine are Blue lens and tortoise frames. These are designed after the original 1950's wayfairs. The actual lense is wrapped with metal underneath and the tortoise shell frame is across the top and sides. This gives it a very smart and clean look and yes, intellectural. The first thing I noticed is how Blue the lense is. They have all different colors but I chose the darker mirror blue which really makes them stand out and be noticed. The second thing I noticed is the heft. These are not a cheap feeling plastic pair of sumglasses. They have a great feel to them and you have a sense of expensive look about them.

I just received a pair of the 49mm W0366 Tortoise/Arista Gold (G-15XLT Lens). Always wanted a pair after seeing them in Reservoir Dogs. I've been looking at them for awhile at Sunglasses Hut after I lost my wayfarers, but couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger for $144 at the store. Saw them on here for $86.00 and it seemed too good to be true, especially after reading some of the negative comments regarding their legitimacy or build quality. After some research and with the return policy Amazon has on these I figured I'd give them a shot anyway. Here's my synopsis:1. Delivered in 4 days with Prime (over the weekened)2. What I received was exactly what the product description said I was getting (these are not a cheap knockoff)3.

Recently bought the 49mm Classic Clubmaster for my girlfriend. She has wanted a very simple pair (black frame, black lens, gold hardware) of sunglasses for everyday use. Got these at a really good price. Buying them directly from Ray-Ban will cost $145 (plus tax it'll be around the $150 range), so being able to get these for $90 was a treat.They look really good on her! I'm actually pretty jealous now and would like to get a pair for myself, though I'd probably grab the 51mm version of this.I didn't notice the Made in China tag, will check and update this but so far there are no signs that the quality is substandard. These are just stunning. Just a very classic look.

These glasses are awesome. I (think) look good, I feel good, and other people always reach for my sunglasses when they're out in the open because they like to try them on. They see "Oh Ray Bans!" and they're not your typical "wayfarers" that all the high school/college dudes wear.Anyway, I have an oval shaped head. In the past, wayfarers looked the best on me with a buzzed cut because they're the only ones that I felt like fit my face.Now that I'm a little bit older (and with a slicked back undercut), wayfarers seem less appealing to me. I admit I got it mainly based on hype, but I like the way the frame appears - it's got a half frame and then gold rims. 51mm, 49mm, there's honestly NOT that much difference,

i owned a pair of ray-bans decades ago that served me very well for many, many years, but then i became a guy that just didn't bother with sunglasses much, didn't feel the need. but things have changed so i decided to pick up another pair and, just as was the case many moons ago, they are perfect, classic, couldn't be happier with the purchase. one gripe tho, and it's really no big deal, but the ad shows that the glasses i purchased came in a brown box, which i liked. unfortunately the glasses that arrived cam in a black ray-ban box. also, fwiw, be careful to select the correct size from the size drop down selector, this is very easy to miss when adding your glasses to your shopping cart. btw,

At first, I was weary of spending anything over $30 for sunglasses, let alone $80+, but when these arrived today I'm glad I made the splurge. First off, these glasses are stunning; absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship is amazing; when you wear them you can tell that they are finely crafted. What's nice, is that they are even covered under warranty by Ray-Ban even if you buy them through Amazon. They always seem to catch everyone's attention; I get compliments about them all the time. Craftsmanship and product aside, the only (minor) complaint I have is the packaging. It was shipped in a huge box with almost no packing material, which allowed the the glasses box inside to move around freely.

I admit it I am a bit of an impulse shopper. That is, sometimes I will see something and know that it seems like it is for me. The moment I saw this style of Ray-Ban sunglasses I was hooked. I was not sure I was hooked for 150.00 dollars at full retail price. There is an elegant and classic look to the Clubmaster. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. These are the real deal bought at a more reasonable price. Do not worry that some Ray-Ban glasses are being made in China now. There is still the same first class build quality to these glasses. The green tint really adds to the sharpness and crispness of focus. Last Saturday I drove 200 miles round trip in my convertible on a sunny day and these glasses were just the ticket so to speak.

I was hesitant to purchase due to the price. Sounded too good to be true and most of the negative reviews threw me off. I went on a Google spree and researched the Luxottica brand. Turns out they OWN Ray-Ban and Oakley, Prada.. Among other sunglass companies. I figured I would give this a try after my Ray-Bans were stolen in Disneyland out of all places! Everything in the packaging is legit. Serial numbers etched onto the gold frame detail in the middle, the RB carefully engraved onto the glass.. Among the famous Ray-Ban logo on the front of the glasses.. To the serial numbers detailing the specific information. The only difference is it says MADE IN CHINA. Luxottica has many factories disbursed in different countries.

I purchases these sunglasses after my partner had bought them and they looked great so decided to get a pair for myself! I purchased these months ago and have been wearing them ever since. They're durable, good quality and haven't broken despite me bringing them out with me everyday and putting them in my pockets with phone and keys. The frames have not bent and the lenses have not been scratched despite heavy wearing.The delivery process was quick and easy and had no problems. The size is ideal for my face shape and had plenty of compliments whilst out and about wearing these. These are not the foldable rayban clubmasters but even though they don't fold it does not mean they're not "portable".

I have owned original Bausch & Lomb Clubmasters, and two knock-offs -- one of them actually quite good -- and I would place these second only to the original B&Ls. I preferred the B&Ls because they were slightly heavier, slightly more substantial. While I recognize that heavier might be a bad thing for most people (and even for me as time goes on), I really liked the substantial feel of the B&Ls.That said, these are very well built and cleanly finished, and the optics in them are spectacular -- easily the best glass I have ever had in a pair of sunglasses. I admit i didn't like the club master at first cuz i was used to the original wayfarer look, which i prefer the most out of all ray ban glasses. so i decided to go out of my comfort zone and choose something chic and unique, hence the club master. Finding on amazon was amazing, at first i thought it was a scam, but after reading the comments, i decided to man up. shipping was quite fast, and quality was of glasses is great! no scratches or anything, it gives you the classic ray ban glasses case with the cloth and all. These sunglasses are amazing. Very stylish, very retro and the price I purchased them at was UNBEATABLE! To all those worrying about whether or not these are real...they are 100% real. I recently took mine to get the nose adjusted and had them do a comparison and they checked out, and the woman at the counter stated I have an authentic pair of Clubmaster Ray-Bans. These sunglasses are by far one of my favorite purchases from Amazon to-date. They're glass, have a nice weight to them and cover my eyes perfectly from my brows, to below/under my eyes. Sunglasses came in a grey box with "Ray-Ban" printed in the side. When you order you revive a nice case, a cleaning cloth, (of course) the glasses,

I've been wanting a pair of these for about a year now but every time I went to purchase them, I somehow managed to talk myself out of it.. mainly due to the price.. I seemed to have come back when they were on super sale and just had to take a leap and hope for the best. --I LOVE them. Even more than I thought I would. They are well balanced, comfortable, and the matte frame with mirrored lenses is just perfect. I bought the green flash lenses, they lean more to an emerald color than a teal/turquoise that you see in the photos. AND to top it all off, they are authentic! Which was a huge concern of mine but luckily they are the real deal and I couldn't be happier.

I got these and immediately put them on and my phone instantly got 14+ text messages, about 30 snapchats, and I'm now at 20k followers with my instagram account. I got so many friends and my Toyota Camery turned into a convertible roadster. It was amazing. After a day of complete coolness, I got in bed and took my glasses off. I instantly loss muscle mass as well as all my friends, followers, etc. I was then that I realized that I must constantly wear these in order to maintain this desired lifestyle. It's a sacrifice I'm willing to commit. It's been about 3 months now. My face is pretty sore but I'm writing this review in a helicopter flying over Miami so I can't really complain.
