These sunglasses are the best looking I have ever owned. I'm a 5'5' female with a smaller oval face, and I've always wanted aviators and they've always looked way too big on me. I'm not a big fan of sunglasses that take up 1/3 - 1/2 of a woman's face. These are perfect. I don't think they are too small at all (I wonder how a couple reviewers can think they are for children -- unless my head is freakishly small and I've never noticed it! Uh oh. Anyway, I digress.).Why 4 stars instead of 5? Although I love the way THEY look, I don't think that looking through them provides the clarity of polarized lenses (I haven't found these 3044 offered with the polarized option). If you really care about the lens quality,I would go with Oakley polarized lenses. Things are crystal clear and tinted without being too dark. These ray-bans take everything a shade too dark for my taste -- but I wonder if the crystal light blue lenses would provide a better quality of light than these green/black tinted ones. I'm not displeased enough to think about sending these back and renewing the search.Overall, these are going to be my go-to glasses for as long as I can prevent my dogs from crushing them.

I have a petite face, so I have a lot of trouble finding sunglasses that fit well. These are made for a pretty small head (my husband can't even try them on). They fit me quite comfortably. I still think the lens looks a little too big for my face, but I think that's just the way Aviators are supposed to look. The quality is really nice. I have the silver ones with the light blue glass. I get a lot of compliments on them. They are not very dark, so if you want dark shades, these are definitely not for you, but they are dark enough for most situations. The glass is crystal clear, so I see really well with them. I have read reviews that they are heavy. I think they're fine. I have no issues with the weight. My only complaint is that the style options for the "small" Aviators are pretty limited. I think I had three or four choices total and no styles with the graduated lens (which is what I really wanted). Ray Bans just doesn't make those for smaller faces.

I've read a ton of the reviews about sizing and was skeptical about buying. I bought the RB3044 (made for petite adults and/or larger kids). The RB3025 is for adults which made me look like a bug - they were huge on me. The RB3044 model is small - I would call them a large kids size. I am a 5'4" petite woman who can NEVER wear any adult sized sunglasses without them being way too wide as well as big. These fit perfectly on my narrow and small face. I also have a 5'7" (of normal size and not petite frame) friend who has the exact same size glasses and they too fit her perfectly - as her face is narrow/small as well. If you get swallowed in most adult size sunglasses and find they are typically too wide for your face, then these are the glasses for you. And if you can typically fit in KIDS (NOT baby size) sunglasses - then these will fit you.Excellent quality, great hard case and a cleaning cloth included.

I've wanted a pair of aviators for quite some time but struggled to find ones that fit my narrow face and work with my Bose A20 noise cancelling headset. I was fortunate enough to have a friend with a pair that I could try first but couldn't find them ANYWHERE in stores near me. They have a small enough frame that they don't interfere with the ear seals on my Bose A20's and are comfortable enough to wear on flights several hours long without discomfort. They're not polarized but in aviation, that's a good thing since it can literally cause some styles of computer screens to be blank. Don't believe me? Just do a google search and you'll know what I'm talking about. They do help out tremendously in blocking out extra light while flying in to the sun which is exactly what I wanted. I like these so much I'm almost tempted to buy another pair as a backup and in case they discontinue making them!

For years I have wanted aviators and have never been able to find them in a size that fit my face. They are 100% authentic Ray Bans. I will be buying them in gold as well. I was at a higher end retailer and was going to pick them up in gold but they didn't carry this size. The sales associate even made a comment about them being knock offs. Her supervisor promptly showed her that they are authentic and that Ray Ban does make this size but it is not often seen in retail stores. Being a higher end store she was informed that they did carry them in the children's department. Out of spite I asked her to find them for me.After she reluctantly searched for them I let her know that I simply wanted to see how the gold looked on me and would be purchasing them from someone a bit more knowledgeable of the product they sell and more polite.

I tried the 58/59mm and the 55mm Aviators and both were just too big for my face. I know the style for ladies is oversized, but these just looked way too big for my face. The 52mm fit perfectly - like a "regular" pair of sunglasses. I know quite a few reviews commented that the sunglasses looked "child-like" but for someone with a small face who doesn't want the "oversized" look, they are just right - and I'm an adult! Also, there is no question in my mind that these are genuine Ray-Bans!UPDATE - I still like the way the 52mm fit on my face - BUT I finally discovered they are a bit small when I tried to wear them on my head (when inside)- they are actually small and I can't wear them up when indoors - big negative for me - that's why I changed from 5 to 4 stars.

Bought these two months ago. These sunglasses were exactly as expected. For those that state they are too large or small, one should look at the size specifications listed on the item listing and compare them to the size of their face before purchasing. These sunglasses are the same size as the glasses I used to wear, so they fit perfect. They also look great and come with a cleaning cloth and a soft but tough case (it's a slightly flexible and thin but tough plastic). Mine did come with a small scratch on the inside of the lens, but it's not noticeable to anyone but the one using them and can't be seen/doesn't interfere with vision when wearing them.I've used them once every few days since receiving them and they've been great.

Many styles of regular sunglasses are just too large for my face. I am a tall woman with a long or narrow face. My children say I have a peanut head. Anyway, these are my third pair of these Ray Bans and even though I have tried other styles, these are the best ones for me. Make sure you get the 52mm size if you have a slender or narrow face. The price is quite good too (for Ray Bans). I have paid much more for this style number elsewhere. The color is good and neutral. If I had to say something negative - I don't like the different color ear pieces. My other Ray Bans did not have this but it isn't that big of a deal. Who sees that anyway when you are wearing them? All in all these are my go to glasses.

I read a lot of reviews before I bought these glasses and I figured that the people saying these were too small were maybe not truly petite. I am super petite and needed new glasses because my regular women's glasses (Oakley, daisy chain glasses) fall right off my face and it drives me crazy. I was surprised by how small these glasses are, but they do fit me. I think because I'm used to wearing sunglasses that are huge on my face, at first I needed to adjust to seeing myself in smaller sunglasses that actually fit me, but now I am happy with these glasses. They are probably similar in size to most youth sunglasses, so if you are not a VERY petite woman, these will probably be too small.

I've been searching for aviators that aren't too big for me as I have a smallish face and am pretty petite in general. While in Mexico on my honeymoon I found these in a store and fell in love with them, but did not fall in love with the $200 price tag. I searched for them in stores in the states but could not find them except for on the Ray Ban site. I AM thrilled to have found them on Amazon and for an amazing price! They fit perfectly, not too big and not too small. They don't look like kids glasses, and also don't make me look like a kid wearing her dads glasses. I would highly recommend these!

I was surprised when I came across a pair of these at my optician's office. I hadn't known until then that Ray-Ban made the Aviator style in a small size. I bought them, thought they were great- and then lost them. While looking for a replacement on Amazon, I wasn't sure these were the right ones. Turns out they were. I'm an adult male. I wear a size large baseball cap but my face is narrow. The temple to temple measurement on these sunglasses is just over 4.5 inches. If you look in a mirror and hold a ruler in front of your face, you can make a pretty good guess if these will fit.

These seem as though they should be advertised as youth sunglasses. They fit my face (heart shape face-female) comfortably, and the temples just rest on my ears when wearing normally. My only complaint is when I push them to the top of my head, the temple tips just barely touch my ears. The price was very good and my husband says they look the perfect size for my face. I'm fine with the fit when on my face, but I do tend to wear my sunglasses on top of my head very often when driving or walking between sun and shade. For the price and quality, I am keeping this pair.

I ordered these Ray-Ban small Aviators to replace a pair that I had for many years and recently lost. I have a small head and these fit me perfectly. Not long ago I had sent my sunglasses back to Ray-Ban to have the lenses replaced as they had gotten scratched over the years. These seem every bit like the ones I lost with one exception- on the inside of the lenses of my old glasses, there was a tiny RB engraved on one of the lenses- including the replacement lenses I recently had. This is the only thing that makes me wonder if these are genuine Ray-Bans.

Confirmed authentic gray market RayBans.Perfect fit for those who have smaller heads or thin faces. These aviators don't cover your entire cheeks and look pretty good. You might find yourself squinting from time to time due to the fact that the wayfarer style lets in a lot less stray light from the front due to the inherent design. The shades are definitely a lot more delicate than the aforementioned style as well so do be careful folding them up and storing them. Can't just throw them in the bag like your old Wayfarers!

I have worn Ray Ban sunglasses for at least 43 years back when Peter Fonda wore them on Easy Rider. Had to have a pair because as soon as I got them I knew I would score with some hot babes. I usually can keep a pair for 10-15 years. When there gone, there gone. Have to order a pair immediately which I did. I first bought a pair for $50.00, but now I ended up spending $88.30, but honestly I think they listed for around $115.00. Could be wrong though. Anyway, men get a pair and you'll have to out run the chicks. Tom C
