Until Luxotica bought Baush & Lomb's Ray-Ban division I used to sell them in my athletic footwear store. I preferred Ray-Ban over the trendy Oakley (at that time new and hot) because I felt it had quality over flash. Anyway, I always chose to wear aviators such as The Outdoorsman. The original Wayfarers we had in stock always seemed to not quite fit my face as it is just a bit slender. They felt large and the angle of the lens hit my upper cheeks. These are the newer version of the Wayfarer and they do not nearly as big or as angled a lens as the original. In fact, these are definitely small and they likely will not fit just any man. You will need to be built with a slightly slender face, I think, for best results. That said, these fit me like an extremely tailored suit. There's no room to spare, but thankfully they are almost as if custom for me and as such never move around or slide. With a fit this close one might worry about fatigue from simply something gently pressing around one's ears...No problem here as they're comfortable, at least on my face, for hours. These are excellent values at the Amazon fulfilled pricing of right at $70. The frames are Italian-made (Italy and Japan compete it would seem for highest quality eyewear frames) with understated a beautiful dark tortoise acetate which is subtle and classy. These are fitted with the G-15 lens and they're probably Ray-Ban's most sold lens for good reason. The G-15 lens is a grey-based tinted lens that really provides adequate shade for bright light while it allows true color through while doing so. While not the kind of lens one will likely use on heavy overcast days while driving this is the Swiss Army knife lens sort of speak as it does more things right for more uses than most any other lens. The G-15 lens, along with the original Ray-Ban green tinted lens (supplied to troops like my father in World War II) have stood the test of time, even with higher and higher technology these lens are "so right" they just keep selling year after year. Try them and I think you'll understand why. I will mention that my wife has a larger lensed Ray-Ban Wayfarer II pair with polarized lens that she bought from the Hut branded place in Nashville. She paid almost $200 with taxes. They are actually enough too big for me that I prefer the smaller frame, but the polarized lens are extremely nice. They're usable in much lower light like on heavy overcast days as they just don't eliminate the shear amount of light that the G-15' lens do. Are they worth $200? Not to me...I really believe if they were around no more than $10 to $20-dollars more I'd consider buying a pair of these smaller Wayfarer II's with the polarized lens, but they seem to somewhere around $40 to 50-dollars more which I just do not believe is a fair value as it doesn't cost that much additional money to produce a polarized lens. I am very happy to stick with these smaller Wayfarer II glasses with G-15 lens as they're very high quality at an extremely nice price. So, why didn't I give these 5-stars? Well, with this smaller pair I have one wish only and that is the height of the lens is just a slight bit more shallow (less) than I would really like. This is a small thing as if the lens were too tall in height the chance of pressure to the cheek bones could creep in. But, I really believe just a small increase in the actual height of the lens would make my almost perfectly tailored sunglasses even better. This is just my opinion, but as I think I already made clear these will be too small for even some medium faces and pretty much definitely too small for outright large and round faces. If you have a slender face and have found Ray-Ban original Wayfarers to look a bit comical on you then try these smaller Wayfarer II's. I really am enjoying mine and the price/quality ration here on Amazon seals the deal.

I ordered five pairs, one for myself and four for my groomsmen (as their gift), and all five pairs of sunglasses arrived last night. Here's the breakdown of each pair...Pair 1: Black Ray-Ban leather case, RB etching on lens, Ray-Ban paperwork, plastic sleeve over one of the arms (to prevent scuffs) grey cleaning cloth, and grey Ray-Ban cardboard case;Pair 2: Black Ray-Ban leather case, RB etching on lens, Ray-Ban paperwork, plastic sleeve over one of the arms (to prevent scuffs) grey cleaning cloth, and grey Ray-Ban cardboard case;Pair 3: Brown Ray-Ban leather case, RB etching on lens, no Ray-Ban paperwork, no plastic sleeve over arms of sunglasses (arms all scuffed and scratched), no cleaning cloth, came in a white/generic amazon cardboard box (not Ray-Ban branded);Pair 4: Brown Ray-Ban leather case, RB etching on lens, no Ray-Ban paperwork, no plastic sleeve over arms of sunglasses (arms all scuffed and scratched), black cleaning cloth (different size than Pair 1 and 2), came in a white/generic amazon cardboard box (not Ray-Ban branded);Pair 5: Brown Ray-Ban leather case, NO RB etching on lens, no paperwork, no sleeve on arms, no cloth, came in white/generic amazon cardboard box (not Ray-Ban branded).I have exchanged pairs 3, 4, and 5 (hence leaving me 2 good pairs - see 2 out of 5 star review), and am awaiting the arrival of the new pairs. Do I think this is the fault of Amazon...NO! Amazon is happy to exchange whatever I want and go round and round until the customer is satisfied. If I get these three pairs and none are up to the quality they should be, they will be exchanged for three new pairs, and we will continue this process until I get five authentic pairs. Here's what I believe happens...people buy counterfeit sunglasses off the street, then purchase legit sunglasses (like these) from Amazon. THEN turn around and return the counterfeit pair - leaving them with a authentic pair of sunglasses at a much cheaper price. Amazon gets the returned item into the warehouse, sees they aren't broken and then puts them back on the shelf for the next person to purchase.I will update and adjust my review after the new pairs arrive tomorrow (9/25/15).UPDATE 10/1/15: So it's taken a few extra days, but Amazon has ironed out everything. Meaning, I have 5 pairs of sunglasses that are all new, with zero scratches, all typical paperwork, and are all legit.I believe most of the times people are complaining about the quality of the glasses they purchased, they probably go a return or a bootleg copy. If this happens to you, just exchange them and Amazon will make it right.MY ONLY COMPLAINT...the glasses are very creaky. They flex quite a bit, which is nice, but I they sound like an old wooden staircase. Don't let this be a deterrent, as once they are on your face they don't make any noise :) ENJOY!

I ordered the Ray-Ban RB2132 894/76 Matte Havana Polarized sunglasses (55mm) at 20% off posted price, which seems to change quite often and probably tied to inventory levels. It was the best internet deal that I could find anywhere. Tip: I found this amazing Amazon offer good for 30 days upon submission under Shoes & Accessories. This promo worked for sunglasses after I received a 16 digit code by e-mail. This discount puts the net price at nearly 48% off the Ray-Ban published $180 list price. Shipping was free under Amazon Prime and as expected took 2 days. Local state sales tax was extra. The details indicated it was sold by: Amazon LLC.No other third party like Sunglass Express or Paris Miki Optical was named as seller. One careful note similar to a previous review: Matte Havana is darker than Tortoise. Luckily, I saw the Matte Havana at a local optical store beforehand and would have been surprised by the ad photo, which is lighter in color and probably Tortoise instead. Web photos of Matte Havana would probably show up nearly black. Also, the lens description of Blue Green Mirror Polarized matched the received product. However, the written description never said anything about Gradient, which is very evident in the actual sunglasses. This is why I only rated this product 4 out of 5 stars. How do I know they are authentic? The RB written initials were laser etched into the left lens. Ray-Ban P was imprinted in white written letters on the right lens. Ray-Ban was engraved into the button of the sunglass case. The saddle brown case even smelled like real Italian leather. The black Ray-Ban seal was silk-screened perfectly on the left side of the case. The `R' in Ray-Ban was correctly done with the small triangle midway on the left side of the 'R'. I double checked the polarization with my LCD watch by rotating the glasses horizontally and vertically. The time was totally non-visible in one direction and visible in the other direction. All of the white lettering inside both arms was clearly legible and correctly imprinted. The gold Ray-Ban letters were nicely raised on both temple arms. The CE mark and word Polarized was written on the right arm. As expected, the lens width was 55mm, lens height was 40mm and bridge width was 18mm. This pair of sunglasses was made in Italy and designed well, due to the weight of glass lenses, correct polarization and sturdy hinges.I believe the sunglasses are authentic and will be keeping them. When I placed my order, I knew there were only 8 reviews for this item (some less than positive), whereas 1300+ reviews for another Ray-Ban 1232 item. Since I knew about Amazon's liberal return policy, I took minimal risk for a great deal.

I was a bit skeptical initially to buy this new wayfarer instead of the iconic original wafarer. But I'm pleasantly surprised at the way this fits my face. The decreased angle of the temple limbs, where they meet the frame, is very much responsible for the better fit. The original wayfarer makes an awkward angle while sitting on the nose because of the acute angle the temple limbs make with the frame. I don't exactly know when Ray Ban released this new wayfarer, but these are way better than the original wayfarer without any doubt. Had I known earlier, I would have bought them immediately. I have no doubt that the sales for the iconic original wayfarer will go down. I'm sure if you try this once, you will not buy the original wayfarer. With Amazon's hassle free returns policy, you've got nothing to lose if you try this once. My next sunglasses will be the polarised version to help me see better without that annoying and dangerous glare while driving after a snowfall. Thank you Ray Ban for this change in design and thanks to Amazon for the reasonable price. I bought the yellow tortoise with B-15 non-polarised lenses. How I wished we have polarised version in this frame and lens colour for the new wayfarer.Follow-up: Today is 18th February, 2012. As I said earlier in this review, I ordered the polarised version of this model. Ordered them on Amazon - sold and shipped by Amazon (They are genuine. Checked both the colours at Sunglass Hut and everything checks out perfect). Awesome! Just awesome! The fit, comfort and style. This time, I ordered the blackframe with polarised G-15 lenses. The glare is significantly less with these, compared to the non-polarised wayfarers. But the B-15 lenses seem to cut significantly more light than the polarised G-15 lenses, which means the world seems significantly darker with the non-polarised B-15 lenses than with the polarised G-15 lenses. I don't know which one is darker between the non-polarised B-15 and the non-polarised G-15. But, between the non-polarised B-15 and polarised G-15, the former is definitely, without a doubt, significantly darker. I'm satisfied with both of them and wear them at different times. The comfort with the new wayfarers is unmistakable. Both my wayfarers are size 52 since my face is a bit on the smaller side. Anybody who wants that timeless look of the original wayfarers (2140) should try these new wayfarers (2132). You get almost the same look of the original wayfarers. The added comfort and fit are bonus over the original wayfarers. Hassle-free Amazon return policy means you have nothing to lose for trying them on. Thank you Amazon for the genuine stuff at such reasonable prices.

I've always wanted wayfarers but the original style was too big for me, and the angle was awkward on the face; every time I would smile my cheeks would push up the glasses. But the new wayfarers are slimmer, and by extension, eliminate that problem. At the same time making them narrowing vertically, also make them sleeker and more timeless in my opinion. The new wayfarers still have the iconic look of the old ones. They are solidly built and feel sturdy and of sufficiently high quality. I did not purchase the polarized lenses, but the regular green (G15) are plastic and very clear, the tint is not too strong, lets just the right amount of light in, without being too harsh or too dark. The eyes are not visible form outside, unless there's a bright light shining on to your face from the front. The curved arms are curved perfectly to fit the shape of the head, making these one of the most comfortable shades i have ever worn. They come with a black Luxxotica semi-hard case with gold emblem emboss, while the classic wayfarers come with a brown/tan case with black emboss.A couple of issues arose though; When I first got a pair bought directly from amazon (not a third party), it seemed lighter and less substantial than the classic wayfarers I compared it to, both in terms of the plastic lens, and the body, which creaked a little. I read reviews on amazon which said that some people got counterfeit glasses, i figured that was the case with mine as well, and it became more and more obvious. However the second pair i got from amazon, was the exact same, so i took it to sunglass hut and macy's to compare to genuine ones and even ask the salesperson for their opinion. My conclusion was that, I came away about 98% sure that the one's from amazon are genuine and not counterfeit, both salespersons at sunglass hut and macy's assured me that mine were genuine, and they seemed identical in every way to the one's on display (which also creaked and had plastic lenses), except for some minor variations which were seen between the display models and mine both. So I'm going to chalk this down to two things; 1. Due to increased demand worldwide the quality control and standards at Luxxotica in Milan, have started to move to a sliding scale to accommodate. 2. Minor variations in the spec, and process depending on the subcontractors who assemble, manufacture parts, and provide raw materials. At the end of the day, i'm going to give amazon the benefit of the 2% doubt. I trust them. Besides, at $80 ($50 off list price), even if these are really really excellent knockoffs then the price is worth it in my opinion.

Purchased the NEW Wayfarer RB2132 from Amazon, NOT a third party. Please make sure when you purchase one it is "SOLD BY AMAZON" to avoid scams. I did not purchase the polarized one.I'm petite and have a small head/face, so I got the 52mm. They fit well and look proportion to my head/face. They don't slide off my face when I look down. They feel like they are sturdy and high quality as they should be. Seems pretty nice. Now a lot of people are worried about the authenticity of the sunglasses since they aren't from Ray-Ban or Sunglass Hut directly. So, I did a lot of research and compared it to one from Sunglass Hut. I tried contacting Ray-Ban, but their customer service is pretty bad. They either don't answer at all, or don't answer your question(s) and tell you something irrelevant. After much research and looking very closely, the only thing that I am not sure about is the RB etching, etched onto the lense. If you are wearing the sunglasses, the RB is on the left lense, but etched on the inner side. The one I looked at from Sunglass Hut, has the RB etching, etched on the outside of the lense. I'm not 100% sure if it can be on either side or it has to be on one of the sides. These are some things to look for, but not all:- Hinges (it is not the same as the Original Wayfarer. Go to the Ray-Ban website and look at the 360 image they have)- The Metal Rod going through the legs- The RB etching, Ray-Ban logo, and text on the legs should not feel like they can be scratched off. I literally gave them a good scratch with my nail and they were good.- There should NOT be any tags. Tags = very high chance of it being fake. There should only be the cloth and the small booklet (these can be fake also, but no one really cares too much about them?). Sometimes, they include the icons booklet.- They should feel sturdy and high quality, not super light.Hope this was a little hopeful. Apologies if not! :\I recommend trying them on and looking at them in person at a store before you purchase from Amazon to avoid returns/exchanges. It took me a bit to get used to it being smaller since I am used to my sunglasses being big/similar to the Original Wayfarers. So, aside from the RB etching, everything I evaluated makes the pair I purchased seem authentic. If anyone knows any more details regarding the RB etching, please let me know in the reply comment!Amazon gives free returns, so I am still debating to keep these or not depending on the RB etching.

Well oddly Amazon thinks these are shoes when I went to write a review but whatever :)Pros:They aren't shoesGreat sunglasses, I lost a pair of these go kart racing, and immediately bought another pair if that says anything. I have a squareish face, so anything to large, or to wide kinda looks weird on me; these are perfect - not to large, I think the 55mm for me at least would be a bit to big to look stylish. They look great, have the classic rayban look, and you look cool without any extra added douchyness (is that a word?) that some sunglasses can cause (looking at your ENTIRE product line, Oakley). Some things that you may not consider buying sunglasses:These are not polarized (at least the pair I bought isn't)- this is good for photographers who use a circular polarizing filter; if you haven't ever tried this, it is not recommended to use with polarized sunglasses, as the light filter gets all wonky and you have to move your head around to be able to see what you are shooting. I'm not a professional photographer but I do use such a filter, and it was annoying as hell on my Smith Serpico's (which are polarized) trying to take a photo with it on.The lens quality is good, especially for this price point. Maui Jim's, well, they are other worldly, but these are still very, very good. It filters out brightness and glare without making everything way to dark, and what I found particularly interesting in the fact that my first pair I didn't take good care of, I would leave them in my laptop bag out of a case, stuff them in a jacked pocket with keys and change in it, and they never even had a hint of a scratch on the lenses. I don't suggest you treat your sunglasses as such, but sometimes it happens, and its good to know that these will stand up to normal wear/tear.I don't really have any cons, if you are a larger guy (or gal) I'd go for the 55 or 58mm size, as these may look a bit too small, but thats not really a con, just a factor you should consider. Good price, excellent quality at this price point (Maui Jim's I mentioned are 2-3x more expensive than these), and they will never, ever go out of style. One other thing I guess just to be thorough, some squarish glasses like these have a tendency to have gaps in coverage from certain angles, i.e. the sun can occasionally make its way through the sides or top of the glasses if its hitting you in a certain way - I've never had that happen with these, so consider that a non-issue.

This review is for the RB2132 Matte Black Polarized New Wayfarer purchased *DIRECTLY* from Amazon LLC. I make no guarantees about the authenticity of glasses purchased from other retailers, even if they are fulfilled by Amazon (not Amazon as the seller).I have been looking for a better deal on these Ray Ban New Wayfarer 2132 Polarized for some time but they never go on sale. My husband bought me the Havana/Tortoise Matte model for full price at Sunglass Hut and while they are great, I did not want to pay full price again but also wanted the Black with gradient blue/grey lenses for additional variety.I was thrilled to see Amazon had this model for just a bit over $100,a huge discount over Sunglass Hut and even cheaper than the non-polarized model. I had read enough reviews here to be slightly concerned that some glasses received by customers were fake, but they did not state whether Amazon was the direct seller or not. We have had some good luck on frequently faked items (perfume/cologne) that were purchased directly from Amazon as the seller (not only fulfilled by), so I decided to take a chance on these glasses.I ordered them on Friday and got them today, and filmed the opening of the box just in case, and I was thrilled to see these were indeed AUTHENTIC RAY BAN. Between my husband and I we have enough real pairs of Ray Ban purchased from SGH to know all the signs of real vs. fake:1. The lenses are in fact polarized. Just turn your glasses 45 to 90 degrees against your computer monitor, if it goes black and blocks light the lenses are indeed polarized.2. There is a laser etched "RB" on the left lens.3. The hinges, texture, weight, and frame were identical to the Havana/tortoise matte pair I already own.4. The case, button, all silkscreened text, UPC label etc. were all identical to my other Ray Bans and authentic.I really like these New Wayfarers because the fit and slope suit my face much better and they're overall lighter and more comfortable to wear. The lenses actually look much darker than they do in the picture, almost a full black/smoke color rather than a blue gradient. I really prefer the matte frame as it doesn't look like the cheap glossy plastic that is frequently imitated now, and it hides fingerprints much better also. It also won't scratch up as easy.Overall, great buy, don't hesitate to buy from Amazon!

I have only ever left one previous review on amazon, despite having purchased many items through the years. On this occasion i felt i should leave a review in order to help other potential buyers and reassure people of the quality/ authenticity of these glasses. I first saw the glasses in John Lewis for £125.00 and decided to check, as I always do, on Amazon for a better price before purchasing them in store.I found them and what's more, I found them on here for £68.00! Obviously my first reaction was that these glasses must be copies or fake and, having read all the reviews, i was left feeling more confident than unconvinced. Of course,my decision to go ahead and order the glasses was helped buy the fact that my order was being handled and dispatched by Amazon themselves. Which meant I had no concerns about returning them easily if they did turn out to be fake. Now there is no benefit to my posting this review, i'm not receiving any form of thanks for my efforts. I'm only writing this to confirm the authenticity of these particular Raybans. You will see several reviews from people stating these glasses are not genuine and I honestly do not know why they have posted these reviews. Like i said, i read the reviews before purchasing and even went so far as to go online and find details of how to check for authenticity, so that i could check the glasses when they arrived. I can confirm that the glasses i purchased and received are 100% genuine Raybans. I have performed all checks and they are correct and genuine.I did notice something i thought was odd amongst the reviews posted though. Several of the responses to customers reviews appear to be from different sellers, all where confirming authenticity and their status as an authorised seller, but I don't quite understand why there are several different seller responses if these glasses are sent direct from Amazon themselves.Anyway, I am very happy with the significant saving i made and like i have stated above, anyone not happy with there order can simply arrange a return to amazon for full refund.but, if you receive the glasses i received, you won't be returning them because they are the real thing and look fantastic!

I ordered these from Amazon and NOT a third party seller- make sure that if you want to purchase them directly from Amazon that it says "Ships from and Sold by Amazon.com" and NOT "Sold by [third party] and fulfilled by Amazon".I ordered the Brown Tortiseshell RB2131 New Wayfarer Polarized sunglasses- I can't speak to the other colors or types of lenses.I was very concerned about these being fake after a lot of the reviews I saw on here. I wouldn't care normally, but if I'm paying $100, I want the real thing. But I figured I had nothing to lose since I could just return them if they seemed fake. The Results: Genuine Ray-BansI love these sunglasses. After I received these,I went on every website and Youtube video I could find that shows you how to tell a real Ray-Ban new wayfarer from a fake one, and they are genuine. If they are fake, they are the most convincing knock-off you'll ever find, but I really believe that they are real. If you're really concerned, just buy them, take them to a store to compare, and return them to Amazon if you don't think they are real. But trust me, they are real.Real Polarized lenses: The first thing I did when I got these was look at my phone and turn it sideways. Polarized lenses should darken/distort your view of the screen, and it definitely went black when I did that. Even if these are the best knock-offs in the world (and I really believe that they are genuine Ray-Bans), they definitely have real polarized lenses!Sizing:As a woman (the name on the review says Doug but I'm his wife using his account), I actually opted for the larger size. I think it has less to do with gender and more to do with your head size and how you want them to fit. I went to a Sunglasses store before ordering just to try on the different sizes and colors to see what I wanted. I highly recommend doing this, because I was about to order the smaller one and it was too tight on me.I am very happy about my purchase and I wear these every day. If you're thinking about it, definitely order them; just make sure that they are shipped and sold by Amazon and not sold by a third party and just fulfilled by Amazon before purchasing.

I purchased the RB2132 in tortoise shell, with G-15XLT lenses, and in size 55mm. I spent a lot of time reading about which size to buy. I am a male that weighs 172 pounds, and stands just under 5'11". I have a relatively small head (based on the hat size I buy). I ended up going with 55mm, even though my gut told me to get the smaller size. I am glad I didn't, because the 55mm looks and feels great. I don't have a big head at all, and these sunglasses look great, at this size.Otherwise, the quality is top notch, and these glasses are simple and feel rugged. The tortoise shell is dark, and can almost look black while somebody is wearing them. Sometimes the light hits the frame just right, and gives them a little more character then plain old black. I highly recommend this frame color for a man or for a woman. The lenses also seem to be of high quality. I like that they are made of glass instead of plastic, which I feel will make them more scratch resistant. I just feel like glass seems to be of higher quality then plastic. The only con I can think of, is that sometimes I can see a minor reflection of my own face while wearing the sunglasses. At first I thought it was a smudge on the glass, but then realized it was my own eye that I was seeing a reflection of. This is only sometimes and under certain light conditions, but happens often when I'm driving to my left eye, the eye closest to the sunny window. I have always worn sunglasses that kind of wrap around the shape of the face, instead of this boxy type of style. So, I can only figure that I am seeing this because the lens sits a little bit out from the face, which is allowing me to see the reflection. This negative is still outweighed by the look, feel, and quality of these glasses.I received the black Ray-Ban case with my glasses.Overall, I think these are being sold at a great price for what you are getting, and highly recommend these sunglasses.I payed FULL PRICE for this item, and am of course giving my unbiased review.

*UpdateSeller exchanged with me a new pair! The quality is a lot better and the glasses seem more authentic. The RB engraving is now regular. Also I actually just bought another pair at sunglasses hut, and I found that indeed all the cases have this little pocket in between...which I find weird but doesn't actually negatively affect the case's function. It seems like the case color is random as well I received a brown this time when I exchanged it.****Next Day Update : 2 starsSo actually I looked a bit closer and the RB engraving seems off. The letters aren't etched with equal weight. The center of the B has a white spot thats actually pretty visible and distracting.I also noticed small nicks on the bottom of the frames. I am going to return this pair for an exchange and update my review when I get them******Original 3 StarsI ordered the RB2132 New Wayfarer 710/51 52-18 2N from Vision Group, fulfilled by Amazon. On the RB website these retail for $140.The box I received was had wrinkles in each corner. For SOME reason they had to put the Amazon bar code ON the RB Serial Information on the box. I had to peel it to make sure that this was the right model. Of course the sticker destroyed most of it, but I could make out a 2N 710/51 and 52 so I guess it's the right one.The contents of the box include the glasses with 1 sleeve of plastic on 1 temples (not both or together), 1 black case with a gold seal, 1 RB cloth, and 1 RB Manufacturer's note. The cloth I got seems to be a little bit off, the zig-zag cut pattern is not even on all sides and the redness of the logo seems a dark magenta red vs. the cherry red seen on the box/booklet/website.The case I got is okay. The gold seal is shiny, but it seems like some of the gold print was scratched off on the inner ring. The WORST part seems to be that the case may be coming apart. The glasses, however based on my comparison to a few youtube videos seem authentic. All small details are present and they have a good feel.

I will not comment on these style wise, you either like the Wayfarer design or you don't, everyone has seen these glasses before. I do prefer the New Wayfarer over the Classic Wayfarer, but once again that is more personal preference.I will comment on a few objective things -1. If you are a what I consider a normal sized guy to bigger guy, or just have a big head, buy the 55mm. These fit my rather large head very well ( 7 1/2 baseball cap size ). I bought the 52mm ones for my rather small wife and those fit her perfectly as well... so I would say a good rule of thumb is 55mm = Men, 52mm = Women2. If you have never owned a pair of Ray Bans before you will be amazed by the build quality and just general high end feel of these glasses.I currently own another couple pairs of Oakleys and was really impressed by how much nicer these generally seem. The plastic is a very thick and heavy variety, not so heavy that it interferes with comfort, but the plastic feels much more rigid and durable than the Oakleys I own.3. The lens is actually made from crystal vs. plastic that is found in almost all other brands. This again gives the glasses some weight and high end feel to these glasses over other brands, time well tell how scratch resistant they are but I have a feeling they will hold up over multiple years of use better than the plastic lens.4. If you buy these directly from Amazon, not one of the other retailers listed on Amazon, you can be sure they are the real deal. If you want to be 100% positive, just look for the RB logo etched on the right size, of the right lens when you are looking at the front of these glasses.5. All the ones I see listed as being sold by Amazon are generally about $40 - $60 off the standard MSRP of what you would pay at almost all retail outlets, I am not sure what kind of arrangement they have made with Ray Ban, but you really would be foolish to buy these anywhere else if Amazon has the size and color you want in stock.

These glasses have been my favorite glasses for the past month that I have had them. The fit and finish are great and I have been wearing them every day. I actually look forward to sunny days just so I can wear them!FIT/SIZE = 5/5First of all, I have read all the reviews on this site and I decided to get the 55 mm size. I heard most people say that it runs a little small so I decided with the 55 mm. I am happy that I went with this size in the end! First of all, to compare my size, I wear 59 mm in the RB3477 and I have a cap size of 7 3/8. Not sure if that is really that helpful, but hopefully it might be able to give you a general comparison. As for the overall fit, it is great!I tend to play sports a lot and I used to wear Oakleys. However, these sunglasses have been a great replacement. They stay on pretty well when I run and jump. They fit very snugly on the ears and nose and they barely slide down.FINISH/QUALITY CONTROL = 4.5/5I did have to return the glasses for a replacement 2 times (both times, there was a scratch on the left side of the temple), but Amazon replaced them without any hassle. However, I was irritated I had to deal with two damaged products before I could get a clean pair.STYLE = 5/5Wayfarers have been around for numerous years, since the days of JFK. It has been a standard for fashion and trend. It looks great on men and women. These are great sunglasses for various face types and fashion styles. Overall, these glasses will appeal to many people.PRICE = 4.5/5In terms of price, it is great as long as you get a good deal. It's not worth it for a price of $100+, but for LESS than $80, I would say it's worth it. Also, I didn't have any problems with getting any fake ones from Amazon, so as long as you get the glass from strictly AMAZON, you shouldn't have any problems with getting fakes.

Authentic. Polarized. Ray Ban P.My order came in a brown leather case; some say they get black, and apparently the color of the case is random. You either black or brown only. It also came with a cleaning cloth and a little RayBans info inside. Also, the glasses have good quality, both the frames and lenses are sturdy and do not feel cheap at all. As a Ray Ban glasses fan, I will say that this is legit, original, and authentic.I truly like using polarized glasses. Just a heads up though for first-timers in wearing polarized glasses, some phone screens actually appear different when you have these glasses on. It adds a glare and somehow a rainbow-ish film layer to your phone screen.YOUR SCREEN IS STILL VISIBLE, but may take a little getting used to. Also, there are actually other phones - simply because of how the screen LED, et al, was set up - that appear better when you hold the phone sideways (landscape) than portrait. For example: My iPhone 5S get the weird and very evident glare when I look at the phone in portrait/vertical position, and will look better (but still a little glarey) when I view it horizontally. Same effect on an LG G3. On the other hand, my iPhone 6S actually is a little easier to look at, still with the glare effect though. The effect of polarized lenses on phone screens is a little difficult to explain through words until you actually wear the glasses and experience it yourself, but as I mentioned, there is nothing to worry because it'll get easier after a few minutes of getting used to. Besides, polarized glasses have real eye benefits so I do recommend getting these if you really love the look of the lens and frame.I hope this review has been helpful. Thanks for reading.
