The Rapid 5025E stapler; is a great way to staple up to 25 pages of 80gm/m2 paper; but no more. On your desk it takes up the space of a couple of coffee cups; under your desk it takes up a power socket. The staples are loaded with an easy to load cassette; that just slots into place. The come as straight pieces of metal and the stapler forms the staples as needed. This is done very quietly; it doesn't make the thunking sound old staplers used to make. It is quite quick butAs you can't actually see the mechanism from the outside there is a guide that helps you get the staples in the right place. You can staple on either edge of the paper; but only on the edges - you cant do diagonal or in the middle of the sheet as you could with a manual stapler.

Whilst waiting for my electronic stapler to arrive I read some of the reviews left by other people and I was disappointed to see how negative they seemed. It appeared this device would be lacking.However I was pleasantly surprised to find when it came it was not at all how others negatively described. It is made of high grade plastics, contoured with a sleep pleasant design with a blue light that not only shows you it is on, but where to place the documents to be stabled.Using it it staples very well. It is quick and efficient and I folded some paper numerous times for thickness and used the stapler and it did so with ease.I have an electronic stapler in work which has always been efficient,

This Rapid Supreme Electric Stapler looks great, is sturdy and performs its role well, but it has a drawback insofar as you can't just load regualr strips of staples in it - it uses a cassette system, and there's an element of 'plus plus' to this, in that you have to buy the cassettes separately. However, this does make the machine less prone to jamming up. It has an impressive capacity, being able to staple together up to 25 pages, and for a busy office that does a lot of printing and large quantities of documents, it should do the trick handsomely.

I found this to be quieter than some electronic staplers and faster. I would question whether there is a huge need for an electronic stapler in a general office but it does perform well and looks good. A bit pricey though.

I bought it at a good price - perhaps I should have done more research the cassettes are quite expensive - but I don't suppose you can compare them to the regular staples. The fastening is efficient and very flat.
