The size and weight is exactly what it says on the tin. It is quite big and really heavy. Infact it was so heavy that I had to return it!! Not for daily use for an average woman (unless you are into making lot of pastries every day!!!) I needed it to roll out the occasional Naan and cookie dough..Marble was cool to touch with independently rolling wooden handles...The delivery was prompt and via UPS, and the seller provided no quibble refund when I returned the item. Good Merchant and great product.. however not for me as it was too heavy, or I would have given it 5 stars!!

I got this heavy weight rolling pin as i have rheumatoid arthritis and pushing down hard with the wood ones causes me pain so i thought i would give it a go and its great as i don't need to push down with this one, i also put it in the fridge before use and it stays cold for an hour after, which helps the pastry to form, so all round its a win win for me. ( but make sure to use the stand as you would not want this thing rolling off the work top and dropping onto your toes)

Perfect! It is heavy to shift about, and you really do need a space to show it off. Since it is very heavy, it takes a lot of the work out of rolling out some types of dough. Also, since it stays cold, it doesn't stick so much in the warmer months either. (Flour is still needed of course)

I wanted a heavy rolling pin to use with 'The Mat' and this works really well and it's much cheaper than the one that's recommended. I'm a home baker so it's not used constantly but it seems good quality for the price and I'm hoping it will serve me well for a while.

Wow! I wasn't expecting such a large, heavy lump of marble! It is brilliant for rolling pastry, needs almost no effort to roll and flatten and always stays cool. So much better than plain wooden pins. Easy to wipe clean and a sure deterrent for burglars!

Well packaged and super fast delivery. Very pleased to discover this pin at such a good price. Very heavy in use but once you have used one of these, it is very difficult to return to a wooden or polypropylene pin.

only four stars because the first one delivered had a crack in the marble fast replacement and collection though very heavy but th as that enables the pin to do the work wish I had bought one sooner love this

When I received this product it had a slight flaw in it, luckily I knew someone local to me who was able to polish the flaw out. I think maybe it should of been better quality tested before being sent.

A good replacement marble rolling pin for one that was dropped and broken just before Christmas. It's of good quality and enabled my wife to make her delicious mince pies in time for Christmas.

The roller was delivered quickly and packaged well. It's a good product and keeps cold as you would expect. I put it in the fridge before use and that worked really well. Very happy with this.

Really good rolling Pin. It works so much better with a marble rolling pin than a wooden one. The handles aren't as solid as i hoped but it is good value still. I can recommend it.

Didn't want to spend loads of money on a pasta roller and decided the rolling pin was a more affordable alternative, This marble one fits the bill perfectly.Very pleased
