Finally a RPG worth actually playing and not only that but there's two of em bundled together in a nice tidy one disc box value for money is unprecedented here the hours alone in torment that you will have can be anywhere up to 230+ the new ui is nice to see added as the old clunky one was in much need of a update and graphical clean up I say clean up because it's more of a screen put into a clearer aspect than a actual graphic enhancement but still the jump to full HD 60fps is much welcome please do bear in mind I strictly speak of planescape torment and not for icewind dale as I have yet to get around to playing that due to being busy sinking my time into planescape but I would imagine itwould be the same treatment for that as is for this and if that's the case then I'm happy as a pig in mud with this enhanced edition of the games

It's fantastic that these have had a re-release onto console. 'Baldur's Gate' is always looked upon as the originals for RPG video games, but these two titles had an undeniable impact as well. 'Planscape: Torment' is still in the top tree best written games for me and is seen critically as that to. It truly is a marvel for game writing and design and needs to be played by both gamers and table top players. 'Icewind Dale' is a more combat focused adventure and is still a very enjoyable game. Obviously these games are 'dated' so don't expect a remaster which will blow you away, they're almost identical as the originals just smoothed out. If you're in between games or not sure what to play, these are great titles to invest your time into for historic value and fantastic story telling, which is what should always come first in games.

Amazing to play these again.faithfully remastered and look great on tv mode although as with baldurs gate it can be a bit hard to see in handheld mode but not enough to put me off.great old d and d games but some newer gamers may find them clunky and glitchy etc but give them a go if you like rpgs and I think you’ll enjoy them if you go into it expecting old game graphics and animation etc rather than today’s standard.cant rate these old gems enough.get this ,the baldurs gate compilation and the neverwinter nights one and you will have great fun for many hundreds of hours and plenty of laughs....not just at the dated animation !

I can’t thank the developer and publisher for gambling on a console release of these games. The games play very well with a controller which is objectively the most important thing. There are a few bugs which have been reported and yet to be fixed so that’s a sad sign.

Port looks ok, is pretty much the old games but with hd graphics. As much fun as when first released. I would suggest first you do is change the font size to avoid headache

Big fan of these games so overjoyed when it was brought out on Playstation. Only complaint is I can't find Icewind Dale II out on Playstation. But this game I love!

Is amazing game! The port to switch is very good but I still prefer the PC version because I'm high dependent of keyboard and mouse.
