Absolutely loving playing this again albeit a slightly changed version compared to the original pc version I had on launch.great d and d RPG and would be a great insight for modern gamers to see where things evolved from to become stuff like divinity and dragon age etc due to the d and d rule set.some might find this dated and clunky if you are only into pretty games with fluid animation but this has never been what this games about.iv had a couple of glitches with getting stuck in scenery etc and some artifacting etc but to be honest it’s nowhere near as bad as it originally was on launch for the pc version as I had some really weird stuff going on during that era.i think as long as yourunderstanding that this game is from a pc port from round about the millennium or a year or two either way then I definitely think you will really enjoy this title if you like rpgs.try it for yourself and see how we did it in the old days...also get the baldurs gate compilation and the torment ice wind dale ones because altogether you probably have about 600+ hours of d and d infused gaming with all titles.definitely recommend rather than playing interactive micro transactions....sorry I meant modern games

Surviving the lockdown with a hefty dose of PlayStation, alcohol, nostalgia, television, and sex. This ticks two boxes at least, best I can hope for given my better half is locked down in a different country and my liver is none too spiffing at the best of times. It’s old school NWN, pretty much as I remembered it from the pc many years ago. That’s great, unless you’re expecting a dragon age or divinity 2 level of sophistication. NWN is one of those games that has been surpassed many times, but which laid the foundations for so many that game after. The story is good, the limitations are more apparent given it’s age, but it’s still a game every RPG fan should play to completion at least once. Not encountered any of the crashing problems various reviews refer to, all in all its running pretty well and I’m about 10 hours in to the main campaign.Yep, it shows it’s age a lot but it’s still a good play and enjoyable game. Exactly what I hoped it’d be, the same game that ate many hours of my time years ago and was my first foray into online coop play. Definitely get it, but understand you’re getting something retro and old school.

I originally bought the original version back in 2005, 3 years after release, but I had such a potato of a PC that it wouldn't run it. Since then I've always wanted to play it, and now I can. Perhaps you need to be slightly 'older' to have the tolerance to overlook the angular, low-polygon characters and antiquated inventory management systems, and the controls for menus and spells are a little cumbersome, but what you've got here is a faithful restoration of the original game, with some minor improvements to the graphics (but don't get excited.. They still look decidedly 2002). I'm enjoying it even more than the Baldurs Gate remakes, and finding the old school lack of hand-holding refreshing. It's such a shame games went all triple A and lost the charm and challenge of solving problems for yourself, or kiting enemies to pick them off one-by-one because you didn't buy enough health potions. Utter brilliance as long as you're patient and know what you're getting into.

I got this for about £19 and I think its worth it. Even for the age of the game I have learned that switch games do cat a bit extra over other consoles or the pc.I will admit that the controls do feel a little clunky to start with but after the first half an hour I was flying round the menus and battles. I did play the original so this did help as the tutorials are a bit basic. There is the occasional slow down but having nearly finished the 1st act I found these to be minimal and not a huge issue in effecting gameplay. This does have the original graphics so its not as pretty as alot of switch games out there.I would highly recommend this if you were a fan of the original as it has the original3 campaigns along with several professional quality extras.

Neverwinter Nights is an old D&D style RPG game that hearkens to my youth. Having sunk hours into the PC version many years ago, i was amazed to see it get ported to the Nintendo Switch.Despite not being a brilliant port ( as slow down can occur in heavily scripted areas), I haven't been this addicted to a Switch game for quite a while. It really does make for a fantastic hand held experience when you get relegated off the TV, as you itch for another dungeon floor to clear out on the quest to get your character stronger.Newcomers be warned - this game wont hold your hand with its D&D ruleset. Give it time and you may find yourself slowly consumed by this incredible RPG sandbox.

A xmas gift to me from my parents. Based on the D&D world and gaming system, you can pick to play any race and any class. It is easy to learn how to play and there are several campaigns you can do. It has kept me entertained for many hours and so it is good value for money. If you like D&D games, this is well worth a go.

Really not sure about other players' experience. I've been a huge fan of this game for years since it came out.Almost £40 is not cheap, but it's a piece of history and there's ton of content for 100s of hours of gameplay and fun.If you like old school D&D RPGs, there's nothing better.

Delivered on time and wow took me back to the good ti. times when I first played it on PC, the graphics are really enhanced and overall my only issue with it is that getting used to the controls was frustrating however top quality game that has brought back some fond memories ?

I like the range of character options offered by the games.I find using the menus a little a bit problematic especially when in combat and the quick menu options very limited especially when playing a magic using character when selecting spells.

The game was exactly as described. It was packaged well and delivery was swift. The price was good too for a new game. I am thoroughly enjoying playing it. Definitely worth it.
