For the price i paid im very impressed at the kit. But i do have some niggles - the centre column is short and just fits in its holding when its retracted - its would not take much of a push to break it, so i just have to be extra careful.The grid on the top is not the easiliest of things to put on, take off or store. It tends to twist quite easily and has been a pain to open up and pack away. I cant see it lasting that long - ive done 4 shoots so 5 times opened and packed away? and it really shows - i dont expect it to last that much longer - but it was very well priced so i will happily get another - besides the quality of the umbrella is great!

first impressions seems ok.cant compare to expensive models because i never had one.prob built ok but but ok for £15.updateive used it now and its ok but not brill.the arms on it seem flimsy but if ur carefull it should be ok.outside work might damage it if it falls so just be carefull.remember its very cheap and u do get what u pay for and my use wil be very occasional.if you plan to use it alot then get stronger more expencive one but all in all for price and occasional use not bad

For the price cant argue. Little bit flimsy build quality and a little awkward to carry as case has no hook attachment and built like a fat umbrella. Once set up, softness/quality of light is good, works nicely with my speedlight. Cheaper alternative to usually quite expensive softboxes so cant complain.

I think this was a great purchase. for the money it does exactly what it says on the tin.i am still an amateur photographer but think the product is great quality. coupled with my Nissin DI 866 this works a treat. folds easily into an umbrella and has a white diffuser

Extremely quick delivery, item was as described.As for the softbox, it is a perfect size for location shooting. Small enough to transport easily, big enough to do 3/4 shots, and full body at a stretch. Great for studio use as well.

This is a great umbrella/soft box, it gives really nice soft lighting using a speedlight flash inside, great for people and produce photography.

Easier to put up than a soft box and just as effective. The design restricts the tilt/angle adjustment slightly. Good quality materials used.

Treat it very carefully and it's does what it needs to do. Get a boom arm and works even better. Watch out for the metal poking through.

Functionality is good, material is good.. Only thing is the umbrella is not symmetrical.. but it doesn't look perfect but ok..

Easy to put up and gives great results with a speed light. Compact and easy to transport
