I was soo shocked when I first tried this shaver! Couldnt believe how smooth of a shave you got with it. After trying various other dry shavers I had resigned myself to wet shaving with a razor to get that smooth finish I desired as none of the others lived up to expectations. Phillips shaver 1000 has completely won me over! Nice smooth finish and no shaving rash in sight. Since using this shaver I have found it heaps kinder to my skin. As someone who is normally prone to shaving rash it has been such a nice relief and confidence boost to not have that problem anymore! Love the sleek design and it's very comfortable to hold in your hand. You can use it corded or cordless aswell which is a nice bonus to be able to choose.

I absolutely love this product. It is ideal for me as I only have 5-10 minutes at most in the morning before I go to work. In that time I can use this shaver to have a clean shave to start my day. I would recommend to anyone wanting a shave which acts quick and has a lot of battery. Having a lot of battery is a great advantage because by the weekend when I have more time I can go and charge it. I think this shaver is very slick and stylish, I love the shape of it as it fits nicely in to my hand comfortably. The shaver is very easy to clean which is a great advantage, with me shaving every day there is not too much hair to collect so I just clean it when I have time. The shaver picks up all of my hairs,

This is a great shaver but does have a few flaws unfortunately. First of all, the quality and fit in your hand is second to none, feels like a real sturdy piece of kit that wont fall apart easily. It does however, take quite some time to charge for the usage that get out of it and this is down to the lack of lithium ion battery, but if you've got time then it's not an issue. If you have sensitive skin, I would bear in mind that this can cause irritation due to having to go over the same section a few times because it doesn't trim the hairs enough on the first go. Maybe I was just unlucky but it didnt seem to be the most comfortable shave I've ever had...equally not the worst!

It was easy to use, and nice clean shave, had no issues with tugging on the hair. i have quite tough stubble and usually i would have to use razors as it can cut through the hair easily, with this shaver i had no rash or cuts.ill defo recommend its easy to use and charging time dont take long at all, the power on this product is long lasting also,the head is easy to open and easy to clean also it has an attachment for the side burns, which is pretty cool.I like the design and easy to hold not heavy at all.the only one issue I had with this shaver is the plug, its not an English plug, but I did not mind spending a few pennies and buying an EU plug.

As a regular user of disposable shavers, I was very interested to try this due to it.The charge is quick and long lasting – I normally go around 6-7 days before I find I need to charge it. The rotary is great, and the close-cut blade and pop-up trimmer really makes a difference to shave. I found this shaver to be great if short for time as you get an extremely close shave without any stubble. Cleaning is so easy as you get a cleaning brush to clean the inside and then can put it under water to give a thorough clean. This shaver is very light weight and easy to hold due to the curved shape. It comes with a 2 pin charge cable so would require an adapter in the UK.Upon using it I was surprised how quiet it is which is a great feature, it is so gentle against the skin,no pulling or scratching and is easy to manoeuvre which made for a smooth finish.It does not come with any cleaning tools hence being 100% washable in plain water,but it rinses easily enough,just lift the shaver head and run under the tap.It comes with a removable cap which is handy for storage when not in use.Overall a great product. I recommend this product to those who like a clean shave, great little feature to help with hard to access areas and also for shaping. You’ll find this shaver is so quiet I found myself able to shave before night shift without waking my wife up. The shaver was easy to understand and use it was a comfortable shave and found it was easy to manoeuvre on all areas. I like the finishing touch the cover for the shaver it keeps it tidy. Charging cable is just your standard charger. I had no problems at all with this but have given it 4 star oppose to 5 because more attachments would be better. This is a good shaver for what it's supposed to do, however I found it very similar to the previous model in terms of performance. I do like the colour and it looks smart, the extra trimmer on it is really handy, please with how well it holds its charge. After daily morning use not had to charge it for a week. This is technically a beard trimmer but I even used it for a head shave it even worked well for that. As long as your hair is already short/stubbly. I would of give it an extra star, but like I said it's not really changed from the previous model, so thats the only thing really. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great shaver by Philip's. The shaver has an easy to use on/off button and can be used both attached to cord and cordless. A full charge gave me a full weeks worth of shaving before needing charged again which is fantastic. The rotary blades give an amazing close to the skin shave, leaving the skin feeling smooth afterwards. The shaver was a lot quieter than I was expecting meaning I could easily shave in my ensuite without disturbing my partner. The shaver was easy to clean after use by running under water. A very good springy rotary shaver that leaves with good quality sharp close cut leaving no stubble, the battery charges quickly and hold very well I would prefer for it to indicate the remaining battery life but it does last around 2 weeks I shave daily. The pop up trimmer allows me to precisely shape my facial hair. Convenient for an on the go shave as its cordless as well as corded, easy to clean as it's 100% washable so you can keep it immaculate. This is first time using an electric shaver. As was always a wet shave person. the shaver does charge quickly. Using the shaver was simple just rotate it around face and doesn’t take long to do. The shaver felt so smooth on the skin & it is a very quiete shaver which I really liked. Then I use the hidden clipper to do nape of my neck to hairline. To tidy it up. Do this is a small added feature I like. Also no more skin bleeding like what happened loads when I had wet shave. Plus no more shavers rash. This is a really good simple shaver. My partner requires to be clean shaven for his work so a good razor is essential for him, he tends to stick to a wet shave but can often find the razors can cause irritation and sensitivity. Having tried various different brands but none he's particularly fond of he decided to try this electric razor. The shaver itself isn't particularly outstanding but a good basic shaver none the less. The first thing that caught my appeal which is something that I definitely must look for in a shaver is that it’s corded. I don’t have a plug in or close to my bathroom. The battery when fully charged is one of the best I’ve had, it’s gentle on the skin and leaves a smooth clean finish. It’s also got a shaping part which means I have a nice shaped finish, it’s waterproof so easy to clean which is also a great point for me as I feel that some shavers aren’t very hygienic. This was the first time i have used a so far I am pleased with it , nice dry shave with no problems. Shame it does not come with a case It has gave me no rash or irritation after use, it has given me a close comfortable shave it .it also has a trimmer attachment and is easy to clean. Fits well in your hand.what an improvement it does what it says on the box it is a smooth close shave. and It is so quiet. Totally impressed with this Shaver. It is so light and easy to use also its very quite and easy to hold in the hand . , And unlike some razors that all ways leave that little annoying bit of stubble this leaves you stubble free. It is very gentle to skin, very smooth and easy to run, no nasty rash or irritation after use . Battery life is great. and will last for ages.
