I love the Philips Hue range of lights - this is just as awesome as the rest, depending on what you want and need. These bulbs are not cheap, but they're reliable, effective and ultra-controllable.The only downside for me with these "plain" white ones is the "night light" setting is not as dim as I would like. The colour lamps (approx 3 times the price) are much better for night light settings. I'd love to see if the white ambience ones are as good.I use these in conjunction with the Apple HomeKit system, but have also used them with Alexa. Both these additional systems offer more control and different approaches to control options (particularly with regards to automation)

I've got a few Hue bulbs and remotes and have found them to generally be fine. The bridge picks up all of them quickly and the operation is pretty smooth. But in one room, there's an Edison screw fitting (E27) rather than the usual B22 bayonet, so I needed to grab one of these. As there was a deal on at the time, this one with a remote worked out cheaper than buying them separately, so I went for this.The bulb is every bit as good as the others I have, but the remote is terrible! All the other remotes have a nice action to them and work every time, but the one in this has sloppy buttons that wobble about and don't always engage when you press them.

Great bulb to add to my rather large collection of Hue devices. I purchased this bulb primarily because I did not need a colour one for the location this was to be used in (Garage/Utility room) and it works in the very same manner as other Hue bulbs.The dimmer is great and unfortunately you are not able to buy just the dimmer on its own at a 'normal' price as some idiots tend to thing since the V2 dimmer switch is out this V1 dimmer is magically worth £50+ when it was always £17 before the V2 was released.

Really simple to set up, as you would expect from a Hie device. Bought an adapter to attach it to the wall in my bedroom so now it is the only switch in the room. Works a treat. Came with a screw bulb, which meant I couldn’t use it in my main lights (they are standard UK bayonets) but I also bought a two back of bulbs so worked exactly how I wanted.

We bought this kit for the dimmer remote more then anything else. We use it with several different bulbs, fairly simple to set up.The mount to stick to the wall is definitely helpful, as you can place closest to wherever you are most likely to use it.The remote has nice quiet button operation and is easy to navigate with large buttons.

I have made some hanging lights as can’t fit anything else as I rent but thought I’d try the Phillips hue set up and even though the entire setbup is expensive if you buy sections like myself you don’t see the entire cost but dimmer switch is fantastic just to side of bed and I can switch the lights off

The Dimmer Switch is very easy to set up by using the Hue App, simply set it up with presets which change the light settings depending on the amount of clicks. You can set 5 of these up.The brightness of the bulbs is good and of course you can dim it depending on scene you want to set.

now even easier to dim your lights turn on or off my house has phillips hue light in every room this little unit is great easy to add to your app less than 5 mins later your using it you can assign it to two bulbs, i recommend this its great

A bit of a mess around setting this up to work with your bridge. It requires another hue app for the bulb. Pretty good for£24 but not as easy to set up as the wifi bulbs.

The bulb was an additional to what I had already. I needed a switch to dim the lights. Vet convenient to have. Works well with Alexa. Easy to install

Easy to install, colour temp is good and very bright.A good compromise if you don't want a full on smart lighting system

Very high quality product. Easy to install and use. I have installed Hue throughout the house as no faults.

Works well and integrates well with smart speakers ie Alexa.The downside is that they are pricey

Easy to set up and compatible with Apple Homekit. Highly recommend.
